They must be selling like hotcakes in India (American saying). I remember reading so many comments from India, last year, how they wish it was available in India. Congrats. Speech recognition is like magic.
Thanks a lot! I'm not sure about the sales but they are out of stock. Although I believe it's because of low stocks. India is a price sensitive market with a lack of financing options like in the US. Also, people are very number concious. So it's not easy make a dent in the whole market. But maybe time will tell
@@TechThatOut This is a fantastic review. You seem to inherently know what may be a deal-breaker for specific use cases and explain the pros and cons of each. Ex; reception, overheating, performance. Also, you are the first to mention that you cannot use face unlock with always on display and I must have watched over 50 videos. That is frustrating. I am primarily an iPhone 13 mini user and also have a pixel 6A. However, always on display is an important feature for me. This is a very dumb move for a very smartphone.
It's performing well. I'm happy with the battery life as well. Step up from the 6 Pro. Also, there are small bugs here & there but nothing that broke a function. Not bug free, but nothing critical or repetitive. There's a bug that might happen once but I can never replicate it again.
I bought a Ringke Fusion Matte clear case, but matte clear finish where the back of the phone rests except the sides & very top is completely clear & the cameras are fully protected by the plastic case that goes on the back with only the holes cut out just for the 3 cameras & another cut out for the flash the back is nice & hard plastic while the sides are softer for very good tactical buttons and the pixel 7 Pro looks amazing with the case showing the whole back of the Hazel colour & the gold plated cameras housing & it’s shiny gold plated borders, the case is anti finger print repellent & is anti yellowing brilliant but is hard to find this type of case for most smartphones. The Pixel 7 pro is fantastic it only cost £849 here in the UK plus I got the free gift for early pre order the cellular pixel watch worth £379 a great deal I got, cheers and peace ✌️
This thing is soooooo slippery, especially when it the weather is cold and dry. My hands can barely grasp it. A cover is a must. It would have been nice if one was included with the phone.
@@TechThatOut S22 ultra has night sight as well.. pixel 6/7 and s22 series are the only ones to support it yet as third party apps can access the camera APIs
Finally a video that is tested properly in Indian Conditions. Needed one help from you. I currently have s21 ultra and I will be upgrading to either s22 ultra or pixel 7 Pro. S22 ultra is 15k expensive for me. The only pro (for My needs) of buying s22 ultra is that extra zoom, 128 GB extra storage, victus plus protection, slight bump in display and slightly faster charging speed. I am not a fan of S-Pen. So shall I stick to pixel 7 Pro or go with s22 ultra?
It also depends on how accustomed you are to the One UI features apart from all the mentioned hardware aspects. Also how much do you value first day Android platform updates? Not to mention S22 Ultra gets poorer battery life than the 7 Pro. Hope these help as your question has a lot of variables for you to decide based on
Hey Shreyas... No Indian reviewer has covered tempered glass and cases like the Whitestone dome and Otterbox. Given that these are premium phones, most of us are looking to protect it on priority.... Apparently a curved screen protector doesn't go well with a case because of the curvature!... What's your thoughts generally on the nature of edge displays which are prone to fractures than the flat displays... Thanks!
I'm guessing you're new to the channel. Hope you subscribe as well. I never used a case with my phones. So I rarely cover such things unfortunately. I'm not the best person to comment.
I don't think so. Both are the same generation devices. Also, there are few things which will be downgrades compared to S22 Ultra and some upgrades as well
I am considering buying this phone. Please test and compare the network reception and mobile data speeds with other smartphone if possible. Also if you have any latest iphone, can u tell if there is any difference in display quality

s22 phones also support multi lenses on instagram and snapchat!
Good to know! But Nightsight is unique. Again it's not about giving an extra point to Pixel but hoping more phones can.
