Just keep washing your hair in twists and retwist them and oil them without combing them. The back of my head loc'd up in 2 weeks, but I have prone to loc hair. You do what I suggested and your hair will loc fast!

When you first started your locs did you use any locking gel or wax?
Yes I did. I used "Taliah Waajid's Tight Hold" twice before I switched over to the liquid spray.
@@NaturallyMichy which method would you recommend? starting off with no locking product with the twists or using locking gel?
For myself, I would had chosen to do without the locking gel because of the potential product buildup, but everyone and every head is different.
