    If you have not liked and subscribed to all his content, it is a mandatory "must-do". His videos are so informative, easy to comprehend, and you will grow so much from his material. Thank you so much for relieving some of the stress of understanding how to study the 1,000page textbook we are given, and for being an online coach to the many people seeking to pass the NASM Exam. God is good.

    Thank you for all this amazing content, I've been thoroughly enjoying it and appreciate how much it supports me in studying for the NASM CPT exam as well as help me become a stronger coach. One quick suggestion (offered with love, take it or leave it) the language of hard/soft skills (you referenced the behavioral model as the 'soft,' stuff) is dated. Another way skills can be referred to is technical skills and behavioral skills, as opposed to hard and soft skills. This helps to center the behavioral skills as equally as important as the technical skills, I would suspect that in coaching, that's very true. Your understanding of anatomy could be 100% (the technical skills), but if you're behavioral skills suck (your ability to listen, ask open-ended questions, and understand behavior change), you would likely be a less-than-effective coach. Just a thought :) Thanks again for all the knowledge!

    I like that you gym allows training barefoot and looks like you are in barefoot shoes! That's what got me started looking into CPT was the benefits I've had transitioning to barefoot! Thanks for this video and hope to take my exam this month. Also glad that I landed on NASM as my certification training choice as it seems to focus greatly on human movement dynamically in all plans of motion. After transitioning to barefoot, I soon learned how connected the kinetic chain was to foot function and visa versa. Dr. Splichal & "barefoot strong" was my first resource into understanding this dynamic human movement concept and she is excellent with a ton of great information & products as well!

    How much nutrition is on the test? I can't believe the nutrition section is so hardcore when basically they say you don't use any of that. You refer out anyway.

    • @Axiomfitnessacademy
      @Axiomfitnessacademy  Рік тому

      Only like 5% of the test will likely cover nutrition. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

    Why are you always mentioning overhead squats? Am I missing something? The overhead squat is part of the snatch and is a VERY VERY ADVANCED ATHLETIC movement. Why would a general personal trainer/coach be evaluating clients or even programming such a movement. I think cross fitters and Olympic letters here, not average gym goer.

    • @Axiomfitnessacademy
      @Axiomfitnessacademy  11 місяців тому +1

      Hey Bruce! I mentioned the Overhead Squat Assessment frequently because it is one of the most common assessments in the NASM curriculum and important for trainers to know for the exam.
