    Things that I like about this video....the rig tube threading bit!!!.....the sound of rain on the bivvie (love that).....the furry carp boots (yes, Nash, I know, you already told me!)......and the 20 in the middle of the night....you just encapsulated so well, what carp fishing is all about, right there..... 🙂

    Triple whammy, nice!!! Yeah such a pain when fish take out the other rod. Best thing to do, open the bale arm on the rod that’s on the rest and just don’t worry about it. Net the fish and if it’s a bad tangle just cut and re tie. Happy days!

    Glad to see you are enjoying your fishing and refreshing to see someone so passionate abut their hobby. Please don't take these next few comments as criticisms as I hope that you will find them useful in the future:
    1. I noticed that you seemed to have pushed the tail rubber of your lead clip system on very hard which will negate the effectiveness of it dropping your lead.
    2. Using backleads when snag fishing is a big no as you are allowing a considerable amount of movement before you will receive any indication resulting in more lost fish which nobody wants.
    3. Your bivvy is a long way back from your rods and when snag fishing you really should be on top of your rods to be able to hit any bites instantly to prevent fish bolting back into the lillies. If it is not feasible to do this then don't night fish snaggy areas and instead move the rods into open water whilst you sleep.
    There are a number of excellent videos online which provide plenty of tips on how to snag fish effectively and the better you become at it, the more fish you will land safely and hopefully a new PB is only around the corner.
    Keep enjoying what you are doing and keep up the good work with the videos.

    Well done good angling… flying back leads are useful if you’re casting they fly up the line about 6-10ft behind the rig. Also think about casting on the reel clip and using some distance sticks… keep up the good videos

    Hi another really nice video, love your setup and you're tying some great rigs there, very technical I'd say, never used spinner rigs myself. Congrats on catching those three and close to pads too, always a risk of them snagging in the pads so good on you getting them out👍 your PB is bigger than mine by exactly a pound lol. That lake is so nice, keep it up 👍

    Great videos nice to see someone new on youtube aswel. Jist a bit of advice if your getting snafs quote alot and dont feel to confident when you put that ring out maybe try getting used to using rig foam easy to use nice and cheap but just helps bost thay confidence that you know it has landed with the hook covered for a few seconds snag free 👌🏼 keep up the great vids

  • @paulheneke695
    @paulheneke695 Рік тому

    Maybe consider getting rod sleeves so you can leave the rods made up, then once you've tied a knot you have total faith with you won't have to tie another. Also, have a look at Prologic backlead clips, you will never lose another backlead with these. Well done, good session!!

    Well done on the fish! 👏 A little trick I do when threading the main line through the tubing 😊is put the lead clip & tail rubber on & your chosen lead which holds the tubing straight n tight, the line slides though much easier I find, hope this helps mate. Keep doing what yer doing 👍

  • @tessilateddragon
    @tessilateddragon Рік тому

    Great fishin well done, with the blood knot you can 'tuck it', do the usual knot then put the line back through the top loop you have made making it a 'half tucked bloodknot', blood knots can slip especially if you are using copolymer line, 6/7 turns on the blood is easily enough when tucked, really important to wet the knot before tightening..... hope this helps and tight lines.
