I think the thing that comes across most in your videos, is that your just out to enjoy yourself; there`s no airs and graces, it`s just you being you, and that's what makes it for a lot of people, plus you keep it real, which makes it refreshing to watch, so keep those vids coming. 👍👍

Love the answer to who do you take inspiration from. Too many people want to be like somebody else and its awesome to hear you say you just want to be you and you do it because you enjoy it. Keep it up!

What a great video. Very well presented. You're a naturally engaging communicator, and that's what really makes good digital creators stand out from the crowd.
I'd urge everyone to read that Talking Carp article, too.

It's nice to see a Q&A sometimes tot get to know more of you on a personal level. At least for as far as that is possible. I mean in your normal fishing video's you also pretty much talk trough the whole video why you do things and what you think about things. With that said, you don't have to worry in a Q&A about if it's to much talking because in a normal video you talk just as much 😂. That's one of the things that sets you apart from others and makes it fun to watch. So keep on going as you do 🎣👌🏻🎣

Nice to see a different dynamic to a video and learn more about you as a person and your story is very inspirational.
The video was really well presented and a great idea to have a Q&A.
Loving the “Fishing Cave” with the glowing candle and i hope you will continue to make more of these fun Q&A videos along with some occasional videos talking about rigs, bait tactics during times when you cannot get out on the bank.
Keep up the fantastic work you are a legend 🤙

Long time subscriber but not managed to watch many of your videos if I’m honest, however, this one has given me some insight into you as a person and I immediately read the article you linked, and will go back and watch more of your films as I feel I know a bit more about you now.
The point you made about not wanting to emulate any specific person is a great one - lots of anglers I see seem to be keen to copy a “hero” to the exclusion of any other tactic or equipment, where as for me it is just about enjoying the fishing and achieving what I want to achieve, and you’re a great ambassador for this!

Re bait I have my old favorites I use on new venues till i get a handle on them as well fishing is 80% confidence so you use a bait you trust a rig you trust
once you know a venue then you start experimenting knowing if its going slow well - your old faithful baits still a option
If you turn up to a new lake and catch and catch well straight away you have not learned anything blanking the first couple of trips - trying new things till you get the feel of the water thats what fishing is about
Blanking then changing your bait, tactics whatever then getting the fish that's the reward and why we all keep going back
love your video's tried to convince my long suffering wife that she really should try coming fishing with me as well 2see girls do like fishing" met with a flat NO but ho hum

Don't put all your faith in only one bait , fish soon get fed up of the same stuff that is not natural food. Try different flavours and colours .. try these.... Shimano pineapple and banana boilies, dynamite baits scopex , tutti fruiti, etc. also add pellets too you can get pre drilled ones for the hair rigs and add groundbait to your pva bags

I really can’t understand why fisherman think it’s weird to see a woman fishing. I have a good woman friend who I have helped and she has caught carp over 20lb and enjoys the environment and if she (blanks) runs out of time there will always be another time. So you anglers out there don’t treat women as something from outer space

Why would men think it's weird to see women on the bank ? Strange to go to a busy day ticket lake and not see a female on the bank, just rather see women getting sponsorship because of there ability and not there looks

@@keithhayward8678 I totally agree don’t fish many day tickets now as been a syndicate member for over 20 years but have seen so called anglers taking the piss out of women anglers and had real arguments with them. Seems it is in all sports such a shame
