Awesome teach as always Tom and the art looks so good and love games that come with organisers. Every time I watch your play throughs makes me want to buy the games. Keep up the great content and stay safe my dude.

Thanks Master Mui! And I really really hope that organizers become the standard for most games.... Like, nothing more frustrating for me than opening a large game with tons of pieces and absolutely zero ways to organize them... For *me* that actually does affect gameplay.... because the entire experience, for me, is from opening the box to closing the box... so if I have to spend forever organizing pieces to set up, that is a detriment to the experience.

I don't t think I've ever seen a more over-produced game. Good video, as usual.

Thanks Michael! And seriously -- definitely over produced..... and such a delight for my eyeballs and finger tips.

Thanks, Tom! Passed on Eldervale but your playthrough was great to watch. I have Cryo coming and am tempted (because of your playthrough) to grab Whistle Mountain at some point. Designer Luke Laurie does some really great things in his games.

You're welcome! And seriously, Luke Laurie has had a GREAT couple of years.... he has definitely become a name I'm watching closely -- and I really need to look at Cryo and see if it's one that I need to get in my collection.

Thanks for your video, Tom! Just bought the game (the last one in Canada, I think) and I was thinking I could try to learn from the rulebook . . . or I could learn it from Tom. Your way has fewer questions.

Bit of a marathon for this one.
I'm not sure whether it was a rules error or just terrible strategy, but one of red's early dungeon actions, with the swords available to buy the red sword card they ended up buying on their next dungeon, they chose to bury the blue sword card instead without even considering the option to make a second purchase. It could be tunnel vision on the idea of discarding the second card, or it could be thinking it had to be discarded. Either way, I didn't note the timestamp.
1:47:38 You didn't explain it at any point, but according to the rulebook I downloaded, the slotted token on a door only applies if you're uniquely highest on the matching element track. I believe this is the only time it applied, but here, with red and blue tied on the dark track, neither of them should have got the second resource for the activation. That also raises an interesting rules question (that doesn't appear to be addressed by the rules nor the glossary) - how does the copying effect there work with the highest on the track bonus? Does each player resolve the card entirely independently, getting the slotted token's effect only if they are highest in that element? Does the copying player get exactly the same resources as the owner? Or does the copying player get the token's effect whenever the owner does, but the option to choose the other resource from it?
2:20:16 Adding 25 points to 52 should be 77 not 78 (so blue's final score should only have been 99).
While the quality of the strategy wasn't great, only having one rules error per hour is a pretty good rate (assuming I didn't miss any) so that aspect of the video didn't suffer from the production.

Well, you know me well enough to know that I'm not the strongest in the world of strategy..... but thanks for keeping a close eye out! You're the man!

Will you publish some new gloomhaven content?
    Would be nice.
Enjoyed your vids bout it very much.
Maybe you can motivate yourself after a year of taking a break. Would be nice.

This WILL be happening at the beginning of summer time. My motivation is back.... but the time is the issue. Those videos take a lot of work, and I just can’t during the school year.... but yes. More is coming this summer.

The cardboard covers are awful. The first experience I have with my game is taking great care punching everything out and sorting it... only to cringe as I slowly mushed the cardboard through the rock hard tabs.
    GameTrayz has failed us all.

Right?!?!? Like....... SOOOOOOO bad. Obviously it would be more cost, but how did they not just come up with plastic covers?!? Drives me crazy-go-nuts.
