I played DeS on PS3 for the first time last winter. It was a remarkable experience after beating every other "soul" title multiple times, including ER. I wasn't able to do any online play, if it even functions anymore so I played the Old Monk offline. I was so entranced by the dark atmosphere of the area and the boss itself that I was happy with it
@@minespatch It really is amazing how just seeing a faint white shade of another "real" player makes you feels so connected. It feels like you and your fellow gamers are locked in an epic battle in your own respective worlds. There's a sense of reassurance in knowing another player is struggling through the same things you are, or in the middle of some bizarre challenge run. Wtf, I didn't even realize you had so little subs! That is a crime, this series is so well thought out and your narration is so good, does not feel like a small youtuber at all. You got a new sub
The narration isn't that great. It very much sounds like he's reading it off a page and every sentence has 1 of 2 different intonations. Start up and end down, or start down and end down.
