Hi Sean, great and concise Video. Quick question from me: If worked in e-commerce and publishing for a while (as a content director as well as copywriter/concept writer in Games and Book publishing) and have experience in positioning print media on amazon as well. Does that come in handy at all (keywords, description writing and A+ Content, Brand strategy) at all or does the KDP plattform do all of that for you and you have no influence over your positioning/marketing aspect?
The goal of this video is not to show you how to create a book that will make thousands a month in royalties. The goal is to show beginners a simple way to create a book so they can get a book out, gain that confidence, and keep going from there. Enjoy!
Appreciate you Sean. Can you give us some more slice-of-life videos too. I'd love to see your experience in Chiang Mai and how life is going for you as a nomad.
So was this a good book? Even with the grey shading? Is this something we should publish and expect to make money on? or is there still a lot more work to be done on the images to get the book up to par to make good money?
@@ZJones760you should spend more time than I did in video to regenerate images until it’s decent as a coloring page. AI is not perfect but it’s getting better rapidly, and even if these only makes $5-10 a month it serves as a confidence booster to people that they can build this as a business

I want to share my experience-thanks to this helpful tutorial, I created my first book. Today, I received the printed version, and unfortunately, it looks terrible. My page's where 8.625" x8.75". After submitting it came back with measurement issues. Amazon said i need to increase my page size.
I'm having an awful time trying to get the margin sized. It either toggles between 0.369 or 0.381. Is there a way to manually enter in margin sizes? Love your videos!

Anyway, I got on Canva today, planning on following this video and make some actual books - I can't even figure out how to resize. There isn't the boxes to put 8.5 or 11.0 into. I googled help - and it told me that you can't resize on Canva Pro, etc. What the heck??
Amazing video, thank you so much. Question on copyright... the bear Canva generated for me looked almost exactly the same as yours. Assuming this may be the case for other things. Is this likely to cause problems?
Sean, I don't think the correct videos for marketing or ads to get your books out there are linked at the end of this video as you said. Will you please show which one that is. I'm working on generating enough to be able to buy your course. Thank you!
Thanks for the video! Thats a great help for the beginner ❤ Also I want to knw is it wise to create medium content books like coloring book for adults as well as kids..is it smething that cn hv any negative impact on sales or progress?
This is a great video. Thank you. Is there a technical or other real reason why images need to be symetrical or are you stating personal choice? I would be happy to colour something thta is asymetrica and I imagine other people would too.
Hi there, what about if the margins are NOT the same for all sides - for example for 151+ pages it's 0.5 inches. You then have to know which page will be on the left and which on the right and alternate different margin settings? Thanks!

Thanks a lot for these valuable information I appreciate it.
The Canva screen that Sean shows is like the one I remember. I haven't used Canva for a year, I made some coloring projects to just print off on paper to give as presents to keep kids busy for a while, I didn't upload a book. Anyway, I got on Canva today, planning on following this video and make some actual books - I can't even figure out how to resize. There isn't the boxes to put 8.5 or 11.0 into. I googled help - and it told me that you can't resize on Canva Pro, etc. What the heck??
Hello, I was curious what your marketing strategy is. I am publishing coloring books and would like to boost my sales.
Thats a great help for the beginner ❤
Also I want to knw is it wise to create medium content books like coloring book for adults as well as kids..is it smething that cn hv any negative impact on sales or progress?
How about Canva's Free Media License Agreement?
Thank you.
how do i make the images to appear in the odd pages, is it done manually or is there a short cut to do so?
This is a great video. Thank you. Is there a technical or other real reason why images need to be symetrical or are you stating personal choice? I would be happy to colour something thta is asymetrica and I imagine other people would too.
Hi Sean, have you ever make a video about making an account at Amazon Kdp? May I get the link to your video?
Hi Sean, Can you tell us how much this color book has made so far?
How is copyright ?
Hi there, what about if the margins are NOT the same for all sides - for example for 151+ pages it's 0.5 inches. You then have to know which page will be on the left and which on the right and alternate different margin settings? Thanks!
Which prompt did you end up actually using? My AI doesnt come up with anything close to your sketches despite also using your prompts and my own ones
that's a good question...
Thank you, Sean…Very helpful!!!
But did you use the photos as it? I thought we should put some more elements on the photo so we can use it
How do you do the back page behind the image to prevent bleed through? Do you make the backside just all dark?
The most helpful video ever!!
