Hi! Thanks for making a video about my books :) Really awesome analysis, it was fun to hear from another marketer! I just wanted to clarify one thing - I don't run Amazon ads. All of my traffic is organic and comes from TikTok and IG with zero paid ads on socials either. I tried Amazon ads for one singular day haha but they were insanely expensive so I turned them off (so just to be totally transparent, about 20 of my book sales out of 86,000 were from ads). I just wanted to make sure that people learning how to do this know that you don't need ads to be successful! Also a very important note is that a huge part of the success is my passion for art and my business. Not everyone has a true passion for art/coloring/business/marketing, and that excitement definitely shows in my content and it has allowed me to genuinely connect with my audience. I've been so lucky to be able to develop an awesome community on social media that loves my content and my artwork so I owe a huge part of my success to them! I try not to encourage anyone to do this that is just in it for the money since authenticity is a very large part of a successful business :)

I wanted to ask if all of your books are Amazon POD or are you printing and fulfilling with Amazon. I've had some success last month after just starting but when I ordered artist copy of the book from Amazon, was disappointed about the paper quality. Was just curious about your thoughts regarding POD with Amazon or other publishers. Thanks :) Also one other question, do you bulk publish for impact or just load books when you have completed? One final question I hope its ok... do you find the combi of colour and black and white is better than just image outlines? Can You please clarify: someone asked if alcohol markers bleed trough...? 🤔 In One of Your Book descriptions, You are pointing out to use a sheet of paper under the page one is colouring..but if markers bleeds trough the paper, it will show up on the backside of the page one is colouring, that contains different motiv ..🤔 so that sheet of paper will not protect the backside, only the next page...🤔 or...?
She’s an Artist and she drew all drawings by hand first, herself. That’s why it’s so unique, no AI, no canvas, no fivrr, only pure heart and love for what she does.
In this video you were amazed that the coloring books are selling well. Here something you should know. Older people have shaky hands and find complicated designs hard to color. My 82 year old husband loves to color but gets frustrated when coloring in the current books. Megan has found that simplified designs are easier to color. Way to go Megan!

It might be simple to look at you but you are missing the point of why its so easy. Its aimed at alcohol Markers, not just to "colour in" like you think it is because you dont understand the difference. That tutorial is just you picking up random pictures, that have no relevance to Alcohol Marker colouring they just look easy to you and you think they are the same. Its really damaging to colouring community and they are starting to just derail people that are being encouraged by these money numbers youtubers throw out saying its "simple" to reproduce. Its something you should really point out. No hate but its something I have had to learn along the way through interacting with colourists and its something that really needs to be highlighted to people when they are starting out

Megan, the artist of the coloring book above, responded very graciously to Sean. She was grateful and respectful and didn't even mention any of the things you seem to be angry about. Maybe you should learn a thing or two from her.
@helengren9349 They are single sided pages, so the bleed through doesn't matter as long as you stop it from transferring through to the next page of art, hence why they advise to use a blotter page behind. You can't stop alcohol markers from bleeding through, no matter how good the paper is, it's just how it is. The main things regarding alcohol marker art is usually wide open spaces and thick lines of the drawing, its quite an intricate thought process to design, even though to the naked eye it would seem like a toddler could colour them in. This video is actually a great example of how to completely misunderstand the design process and get it so wrong without knowing. I love this content BTW and I don't mean that in any disrespectful way at all.

Also, she wasn't here to teach just say thanks to Sean, she had no reason to try and help self publishers as loads are already jumping on her books and just blatantly copying them badly, its actually quite sad watching it
ok as an artist its great idea because if you just see a few things to colour your wrong actually have to colour with shading etc so takes time you do it slow it releases stress very relaxing try it

After creating a coloring book or logbook, do I need to print multiple copies and store them until a buyer comes along? How does the sales process work for these books?
I tried doing this using MidJouney and I found that the styles of the different images were not always the same. Doesn't the coloring book need to have the same style of graphics? How do you get the style to be very similar from one image to another? Even the seed function did not help much.
As an artist this gives me hope as I want to design and draw my own coloring book, though I plan to target a few different niches, maybe not as simple in style but hopefully it will be unique enough to stand out.

Right now you can use Canva and AI in your work but you can't copyright the work. Anyone who wants to "borrow" your work can. To copyright the work you'll need to change, adapt, improve it. To what extent I don't yet know.
HELP: I have a coloring book I made myself that I want to promote on tiktok. My market is the US but since I am in another country tiktok shows my videos in my country not in USA. I did some research and found out I could use a VPN, select a server in USA and tiktok can register that as my location so it shows my videos to my target audience. So I got the VPN but the content tiktok shows me and the audience that interacts with my content is from my country mostly not the US. I check the location on tiktok and tried to change it but it tells me I have to be residing in the US for 90 days so I can make that change. I've heard and read a lot of comments of people traveling and seeing tiktok from the countries they visit ASAP. Any idea on how I can market my product using tiktok in USA without being in the country??? Any tip or idea helps. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the excellent analysis. I have one concern. My AI tool determined that more than 70% of the reviews for this product are unreliable. It gave the reviews an overall grade of "D" which is next to the lowest grade possible, the lowest grade being "F". It makes me wonder where these reviews came from.
These reviews are almost all from people who found my books on TikTok and they are real. This claim is just frustrating because there are a LOT of people copying my books and paying for AI reviews and it's extremely obvious when reviews are written with AI. I'm not sure what tool you're using but you can see right on Amazon that for the food & snacks book, 513 out of 516 reviews are verified purchases. I've sold almost 44k copies of this book so that's actually only 1% of people leaving a review, which is not high at all.
