I bought this pedal and it's a really versatille little unit and sounds great. However I returned it because simply said the fuzz/distortion section is way too much: if you've noticed there's no gain ammount control so when you're distortion's on, its full out uncontrolable cacophony fuzz. With an added gain controler on this it would have been absolutely perfect.
Something to notice is that when using the harmonizer and playing a chord, it tracks perfectly and doesn't throw stray notes in there, the way Line 6 products do.
the pitch is a kind of oscillator right? does it exists a pedal with only a oscillator? somewhat of a funky oscillator pitch effect ? i'm looking for something like that i don't even know if it exists for guitars you know a kind of effect usually heard with synth, kind of funky punch ?? I'd like to open it only for one note for example in a riff, a kind of random sound inside a funky rythm tune you know... if you have a pedal that does something quite like i described i'd like you to replythanks
So pity there is no samples how the Holy Stain sounds with a Gibson Les Paul guitar. Because buying it for my Les Paul I can get sound absolutely different from this Fender's demo.
@johnnyboy13131 You do have a gain control in a manner of speaking - it's the volume knob on your guitar. All you have to do is turn the guitar volume low to compensate for the high gain, and then you can turn the amp as high as you want. The gain's not a problem at all, you see, if the input volume is low to begin with. I play a lot of open chords and have found the fuzz and drive distortion can handle those just fine when the guitar volume knob is set low.
good video but I got some questions Can I play the tremolo and the reverb at the same time playing this pedal? n ' can I adjust o set the reverb n' tremolo I mean the depth , rate etc?? thank u =)
this dude goes from "yeah, this is the holy stain, amazing multi effects pedal" to when he's playing he's like "ORGASMMMMM!!!!"
The fuzz circuit in this unit is analog all other features are digital.
Man why am I finding out all about this now, that sounds amazing! Nice playing!

Your gain level is your guitar vol pot baby!
i like the the level of room reverb he used along with the tremolo and distortion. that tremolo and distortion together sound so cool
NICE sounding pedal! Glad I was able to get a good deal on one...
Hace unas horas me hice de uno usado, espero grandes cosas, estoy feliz
Me gustaría saber si pasaron grandes cosas;)?
it would be well cool if the pitch shifter did a whole octave sorta like a bass emulator
I hvae this pedal, and It's amazing! It's one of my favorites and I always bring it to jam with. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Nice, warm and colorfull sound...An EH I would surely buy when having the money lying around.
Damn that's cool I gotta buy one of these soon

the magic really happens at 3:22
Jeezus!!! You had me at Tremolo!
yes!
can this pedal do the completely bypass when it turned on to clean mode
I really hope I get one of these eventually....
Hi Dan Miller!
could you get tones as nice as the riff at 2:36? no stores have any of these to demo, but I love what I heard from this pedal so far.

I like how it sounds at 2:02.

what's the black device on your left hand thumb for ? does it help with covering 6th string with the thumb ? Curious, Thanks
Looks like electrical tape wrapped around the middle of his thumb
expensive toy, but man that hall reverb was fantastic
hmm i cant seem to find one in sydney. a lot of the U.S webstores incl Amazon and ebay shops refuse to sell/ship to australia...
greAt sounding pedal... what do they go for new... states or canada
just wanted to see with expression pedal, how high the pitch goes like Whammy pedals do. but he left it at 50%.
It only goes up a 3rd and down a 4th (which is an inverted 5th).
can you use this with a bass guitar????
SAVANNAH you can use any fix pedal with bass guitar as long as you can plug it in
when did the holy stain first come out?
Can I plug a delay or any other effect before the holy stains reverb?
Sure. If you use the distortion in the Holy Stain place your other effects after.
Can I use two modes at the same time?
Scandaloso...
set to quite a bit :p
i'm talking about kind of a circuit bend
Sounds so Danava at the end.
fuzz on.. fuzz face on XD
is this analogue?
lmao @ 2:08
They are, EHX rules. And they're cheap too! =D
Lacked a footswitch to change between channels clean / fuzz / drive, is the only negative point of this unit ...
