For those interested in swapping this engine transmission into an eg/ek- It's already dbw, and it's already an rbc. It's a great option over the dc5 k20a since hasport now makes the mounts for the cl7s accord/tsx style transmission housing. People havent caught on yet, so it's an affordable swap if you also get the shifter and cables with it. $3400- k20a accord euro r + 6 speed lsd $450- hasport ekk4/egk4 mounts $50- k20a2 post mount $120- k20a2 crank sensor $350- k20a2 engine/charge harness $130- k20a2 halfshaft (used) $70- oem halfshaft bearing (if required) $350/400- 94-01 integra subframe, Lcas, and shock forks, powersteering rack. $120- oem eg/dc subframe bolts (if ek) $120- ktuned accord ek/eg shifter plate $300- any generic k swap header $450- any rad/hoses/clamps/fan setup $350- yonaka stage 2 swap axles $800/$1k- hondata prb ecu v2/v3/v4 I chose a prb ecu to maintain 6th gear lockout functionality. I have an Eg civic hatch 95, i wanna use the Accord euro R K20A but can I use the trans that comes with ? The ASP3 tranny its an LSD can I still try to use that set up for my eg hatch? Awesome car dude, got a 2006 accord euro k24a3 with a 6-speed close-ratio box in NZ for $5k rockets through the gears, will wheel spin easy on cold damp, or wet roads up to 3rd gear XD lol always puts a smile and still feels like a fresh motor with 200k+ on it.
I wish we had gotten thus version in the US. The K24A2 is a great engine but doesn't rev to 8100rpm without a tune. The Euro R also has the great factory body kit that just looks amazing. I love my 04 Acura TSX but even though they are essentially the same car I love the Euro R more. Guess it's time to clone my car to look like the Euro R.
I got a 04TSX 6spd manual, white, 235km. Up in Canada here, but no rust, rustproofed every 2yrs, showroom man, synthetic oil last 14yrs. Yes, 2nd owner. Handwashed, detailed and babied. No mods, not needed as it has enough power and it's still a blast to drive, good on gas.These cars are timeless. Good thing about the K24 is that u don't need to constantly Rev it, great daily driver.

@@shawnsta7779 For light tunes, K20a still better than K24a. But for endgame tunes then K24a will need K20a to make the power from higher compression and better flow. Basically, good things happen when power merged with torque.

166 k kilometers is nothing for these cars with proper maintenance (and please don't rev the head off while cold). It achieves even the double distance with one set of timing chain! I have only the K20A6 (155 hp) CL7 but it's still a very fine tool after 17 years and 250.000 km.

@@Patspwnage You can have redline at 10000rpm but you're not making power. But it will damage the engine at 8000rpm with stock oil pump and oem valve train :D
@@Patspwnage I reflashed my mate's Type S (AKA - TSX in the US). It is to make it better for lower end torque and earlier Vtec. :) But it is nowhere near Euro R power. But using a K20A jdm head on the K24 will make it awesome! With RBC intake, ecu tune..etc.
I have a 2003 CL7R with 224000kms and despite its age and high Kms. It still rips in the streets, it’s such a killer car.

Our CL9’s need to lose 200 pounds and some LSD added the K24 is still a pretty damn potent motor.
