Today is my first day playing the game. Is there any place i can find team compositions? I researched about point, mid and anchor and came out with these: A-Mai, Leona, Kensou B-Yuri, Vice, Takuma C-king, athena, blue mary These are the characters i tried and enjoyed today. Any advice? Do these teams suck? Also tried benimaru, terry, mature.
Mai can be point, Leona point, Yuri is good anywhere, easy to burn her meter, so I'd recommend middle or anchor Vice is good point, King and Mary can be anchors as well Kensou is hard to use properly, and Ex.Takuma > Takuma, unless you like his original style more
I would say she is the strongest character in the game because of the simplicity to play and her damage. K' is not as rewarding and relies on corner combos. Nameless needs meter to stand out. If he doesn't have plenty of stocks, he's too weak. Kula and King are nowhere near when it comes to damage.
Thanks for the comment, appreciate it! I think you have a fair point, and I think it really depends on how you define a strong character. The way I think about it is a theoretical optimal meta. While I think your points about each of those characters is true, I do believe the general community consensus is that K' and Nameless are stronger than Kasumi, and Kula is probably about equal. For a player like me who is no where near perfect, I would get better results with Kasumi due to her sheer ease of use highlighted in the video. I 100% agree that Kasumi is much easier and boasts more consistent damage, but I'd argue her lack of a DP makes her defensively worse than those three. K' while not having her midscreen damage has extremely potent looping unreactable overhead low mixups. As an anchor, Nameless' damage far surpasses Kasumi's. Kula is more mobile and while she doesn't posses an all encompassing normal like Kasumi, she has very strong neutral tools as well. Hope this explains my thought process!
@@aragami3943 , I think the DP think is kind of a stretch to be honest. DPs are not invincible in this game and she has a counter and Hakuzan Toh, which usually wins or rarely trades. About the Nameless thing: he gotta have meter. If he doesn’t he will lose. Something I also think has been overlooked is the fact that she has anywhere juggle moves. Those make her game lethal in my opinion. My top 5 characters would be these: 1. Kasumi 2. K’ 3. Nameless 4. Kula 5. Hinako Nice debating! Thank you for your comments!
@@guillermo4687 Very good points, but heavy DPs are in fact true invincible reversals in 2002UM. But yeah, Kasumi is probably by far the easiest to slot into a team, unlike Nameless she works anywhere, and with little execution required.
