I honestly cannot believe that repair. You went out of your way to describe how it's fixed right then you just go and self tapper and caulk a aluminum sheet over the damage 😭
It's cosmetic damage - the repair makes it watertight - there was no damage to the frame, so what's the big deal with this repair? This video will be available to any potential purchaser, and they can make an informed decision. This will be a good deal for somebody as all campers are crap anyway. I wouldn't be scared of it.
I think the chequer plate should have been painted the body colour of the caravan and not black and get a matching one on the other side just to balance the look of it....
I think it’s great that Nico Brothers are salvaging these trailer homes and providing affordable housing for poor people that badly need them, here and in Ukraine. We need more people like this.
Kind of a quick and dirty repair but i'd wager its more solid than anything else you could have done. Even if you buy a whole sheet of the SMC siding it'll never match right.
To be honest, it's a quick repair for a small collision damage. Some will say it's not 100%. Chances are, the patch would most probably hold up for a good amount of time. It's definitely better than what it was. I'm just surprised you didn't attempt to straighten out the bumper at the end.
If you don't have your jump box and the batteries are dead, just plug in your light cord and it should provide enough power to run the jack and lights. Plus it will charge your battery on the way home. Bonus!
Camp in it and sell it. Next! Repair job is good enough for a camp trailer-someone will buy that and go camping-that’s the test if repair job is ok. Fun to get a good deal.
I don't usually say anything about repairs, but really didn't like this repair. Anyone can place a patch over damage to hide the damage. That down graded the value of the camper.
Hey Mike, did you forget to fix the end of your back bumper on the driver side ? I thought seen a dent over there, Is it the place you storage your flexi pipe to dump your toilet tank?.keep the good work .
I'm surprised you painted the corner trim after you installed it.. Just saying you could have saved some Time Love your videos.Wish I was there to be part of it
I'm very interested in RV's and I'm planning to visit USA and possible buy one. I love to look your testing and when you repair such RV's. I love your serious site and your work are serious and of good quality as I can imagine. Keep up the good reports and works.
personally would have put the diamond plate on the rear and the other side to make it match .. i also would have painted it with black single stage automotive paint its still a good deal but do it right or don't do it at all
Mike s not going to let Me go camping with Him so Im not going to help Him work on the camper when He gets back from camping . SCRUBS say NIKO BROS OTAY |
How many camper does it take yous two boys to go camping trip 😅change rv each mile or each trip ? Am just jealous boys as over in UK we don't even get close to what quality yous boys buy and sell over in north CA anyway brother love channel and content always looking forward to next one while watching the current regards from sunny Scotland
Wow, that looks terrible. You should have fixed it the right way, with a fiberglass repair, repaint and new stickers. I'm shocked that you would do this to an RV after seeing how well you repaired past motorhomes. You do know that they sell black vinyl inserts. Spray painting the vinyl will never last. FYI, if you run the water pump without water in the holding tank, you will quickly burn out the motor. The city water connection does not require the water pump to be turned on.
Yeah, that looks little tacky, black and brown. I would’ve painted it brown matched it up And when you’re hooking it up to the truck, it’s a use your battery pack why don’t you just plug it into the truck
"Looks factory" BRO you used self tappers and didn't even space them consistently. This is Hibachi Auto Body RV edition all day long. Imagine buying a car, boat, plane or anything else and using self tappers to randomly screw a metal plate over the damage.
Ya kno, I don't generally as a rule do comments as I get each person does things the way they best see fit!! As a craftsmen and one who takes more then just a fair amount of pride in my work and ability when I see what I feel is a Frankenstein job, sorry my friend I am gonna call em as I see em!! Yes you feel you did a good job however anyone who knows anything about rv's will surely know u el-cheapoed and butchered this repair!! Perfect example is in that u didn't even attempt to remove the stripe behind ur diamond plate or match the tan paint...oh and robbing the strip from the rv in the yard...I mean c'mon, how lazy can one get!! I also know u got this rig at a bargain basement price and I'm sure u didn't have a wish to sink too much into a repair...but...my friend u show us in ur videos and tell us to do things rite yet we just witnessed u cut corners huge!! So now I wonder what happens when the You Tube camera ain't rollin!! Granted u may have had a bit more then the few hundred bucks u did have into this repair but u could have gotten it for not much more then that!! Lets be clear tho..I get it..the idea is to not spend a small fortune on repairs...but by the same token..if ur gonna show and be a mentor to others...do it rite man..become the Holme's of homes..jus sayin!!!!!!! Rick
WTF it's not OEM or anything near professional. I was hoping for an invisible repair, in the UK we call this a bodge job. Sorry but that is bad bodges repair and has devalued the camper even more.
Not happy with this repair you should have used flat aluminum and painted it the same color as the camper or even got some fiber glass sheet and glued it with a seam at the top not a happy camper
A total butcher job repair, looks like crap ! Back panel needs relaminating a new piece / panel and side shoudl have been replaces to the slide, with a relief cut atop top right corner of slide, epoxying together and relaminated factory.
I honestly cannot believe that repair. You went out of your way to describe how it's fixed right then you just go and self tapper and caulk a aluminum sheet over the damage 😭
They make a living ripping people off in this terrible economy. Top dollar for salvage/rebuilt vehicles…cmon now.
@@reaver357 id argue that one of the reasons rebuilt titles are hard to sell is because of repairs like this. Its a butcher job.

Yes and “body color satin gloss not gloss paint”. But “gloss black” oh no get rid of it. Thanks
Ah OK, now we see why Ivan does all the body repairs...
I think it’s great that Nico Brothers are salvaging these trailer homes and providing affordable housing for poor people that badly need them, here and in Ukraine. We need more people like this.
Butcher repair job! Quick and dirty. Oh well, it is salvage.
Looks great Michael, great size for a family..
A good looking combo with the black Denali. That's a lot of trailer for the money. Good buy!
Kind of a quick and dirty repair but i'd wager its more solid than anything else you could have done. Even if you buy a whole sheet of the SMC siding it'll never match right.
Both sides should look the same
@@redrider7730dumbest answer of the week.
you scored big time with this one...good luck, happy camping..!
straighten out the bend rear bumper end , also and get 2 Propane tanks....!
Sweet camper for that money, great find. Big Up!

Nasty repair
Wow that broken corner fix looks strong and durable! Well done Michael 🙏👍👌
Very nice, good deal
Have fun camping Michael
Do I like it NO. Do I see it when I'm inside NO. Is it safe YEP

I love your work normally. This does not look good. Do the other side to match.
Show your inventory some day
How you resale your vehicle RV etc
absolutely love that Rv floor plan. and a good deal as well.
Wasn't the diamond plate a little long at the bottom? I thought you were going to cut it to match the length. 🤷♂
Camp in it and sell it. Next! Repair job is good enough for a camp trailer-someone will buy that and go camping-that’s the test if repair job is ok. Fun to get a good deal.
All you have to do to use the jack with a dead battery is plug it into your truck
I don't usually say anything about repairs, but really didn't like this repair. Anyone can place a patch over damage to hide the damage. That down graded the value of the camper.

Looks great all conditions considering 👍som dontC the big picture 😁
Co-Part Niko Brothers! Keep the trailer there to film.
I'm surprised you painted the corner trim after you installed it.. Just saying you could have saved some Time

Could you tell me what products you used to prep the diamond plat? I see you used scotch bright pads to rough it up. What did you prime it with?
im interested in buying that camper that u bought
Should be a manual crank goes in the hole on top of jack its in the pass through storage usually
Love the RV videos.
Took a shot Everytime he said sweet boy am I drunk😂.
When you put the tape over the damage I laughed because that's about where I would have stood back & said job DONE.
@@peterwaugh9416 That's not ordinary tape. It's a membrane tape. Looks can be deceiving. It's a quick repair for minor damage.
Shout out to the shop truck puttin in work lately
Plug in to your truck and your jack will have power
You said the 2019 goes for around 25K, where would I find one at that price? I live in CA, and they go for much much higher price.
That's a @#$% joke that's so minor damage
Wow great job and cheap. In Canada it's a arm and leg for a rig like that
Wow beautiful job
What a hack job. Atleast have both sides match
That means the battery is going dead dead our camper does the same thing
I actually don’t think it looks too bad. It definitely will seal off the elements and when it’s backed into a space nobody will even notice it.
Mike swwweeeetttt😅
you hooked the hose up to the back tank flush. there won’t be water at faucets when on that port
It all looked very clean and unused in there? Was it still brand new maybe??
Mike, There is a hole in the top of your tongue jack. If you don't cover it rain will get in and seize it.
personally would have put the diamond plate on the rear and the other side to make it match .. i also would have painted it with black single stage automotive paint its still a good deal but do it right or don't do it at all

Enjoyed this episode and it seems to me the metal repair is more sturdy than any other repair way. Trailers like this are not that strong as it is.
Make sure you’re using a pressure regulator
Whats the rebuilt titling process for these copart RVs?
Pretty nice repair. I would have painted The patchto match the tan color of the RV.
How many camper does it take yous two boys to go camping trip 😅change rv each mile or each trip ?

Bodge job for the cost you could have done the other side more professional look cheap job !
Very bad repair, doesn't suit you
@BATU53_ what wrong with you. TROLL!
sorry its very poor
Needs propane and a spare tire for rear rack
Seems very cheap to me. Repair is not OEM but certainly looks OK to me. Wouldn't bother me at all.
Awesome camper
L , o l i've seen a guy fall off a ladder from standing on the top of it like You ..just try to be careful
That is the worst repair in Australia no one would accept rubbish work like that absolutely awful

Jury. Righing
You did a great job on that !
Hard to believe they totaled it for just that little damage.....
Very very bad repair job, it looks horrible
Nice try, now get the Correct material and install it so it can be painted and replace stickers
very very nice
