Ladies, I just wanted to thank you. I am currently serving in the middle east and it can get very bad on some days. Watching your videos has been so uplifting, you will never know how much they help. Thank you, and for god's sake don't either of you ever stop being fangirls. I look forward to more videos to come, especially on game of thrones, and may both of you always be happy. And to those 90+ haters I can only say 'stop inflicting your opinions on the world' cause these ladies are life savers.

That scene where Sherlock 'dies' is one of my new favourite scenes. There's that emotional scene with Redbeard the dog, the amazing but terrifying moment with Moriarty (Oh, and that cliffhanger. Fuck-a-doodle-do!), the fact Sherlock lives because of how much he cares for John. Just amazing. The directing is perfect. The director of this episode was the same guy who directed The Day of the Doctor, you know. There's a little fact for you all ;D

I LOVED the part where Sherlock gets shot and goes in his mind palace! Favorite part! I also LOVE that he used Janine as part of a plan haha brilliant! Both your reactions were the opposite of mine at these spots and also at the part where we discover Mary at the scene.

IOweyoUSoMuch77 I like the actor, just don't think he's a good enough fit for Moriarty. BC fits the role and performs as a Sherlock would, but AS doesn't fit the role at all.
in comparrison, even a two episode feature of sherlock holmes in Star Trek TNG, where Moriarty is played by Daniel Davis, THAT is a Moriarty, that is who I expected in Sherlock.
I'm just hoping that AS was just the image for sherlock to absorb, so the real Moriarty would come out....but that's just me.
BTW I'm not inteding to bash Andrew Scott, I just don't like his role as Moriarty, i'ts like Jesse Eisinberg as Lex Luthor...
laggedoff I agree. While BC maintains to sherLook from the original canon: tall dark handsome apathetic, he brings a modern edge of oxford-schooled intellectual savant bastard (who is intolerable as well as charming like a lion-faced Alan Rickman.)
But the modern look of Moriarty has changed from an Aging Mathematics professor (who looked like Christopher Lee and Max Schreck had a threesome with helen mirren) into a party-luvin' UKJoker who's flamboyant and childish like Charles Manson on Eurotrip.
He's lovable, but he's not like the Original at all. I mean, does he even have a PhD?

I literally screamed when Moriarty came onscreen! I don't know if I'm buying that he's back, but that sent shivers down my spine...
I literally had many mixed emotions. I literally couldn't breathe, I somehow managed to fall off my sofa and I couldn't stop laughing.
Yes I cried and yelled and got pissed and cried and then got excited !! It was a train wreck of emotions for sure!!
yes, I felt to many emotions at the same time. after the episode was done I was stil crying and laughing at the same time for half an hour. when Moriarty came on screen I fell down on my knees and screamed ''YES!'' as loud as possible.

On a side note, I totally don't think that Moriarty is actually back. It has to be a member of his organisation that Sherlock missed. If it turns out that Sherlock never actually met the real Moriarty, and the guy who died was just a decoy, I will NOT be happy, because Andrew Scott was way too perfect to just be a fake Moriarty.
It would be remarkably easy for Moriarty to fake his death, though. Just fire the gun through his head where it wouldn't kill him. I did find it odd that there wasn't more goo when he was shot, just a flick of skin. It was his own gun, so there probably wasn't a bullet
Firing the gun through your head where it won't kill you is not a reasonable strategy, as almost anywhere a bullet goes through your head CAN kill you, even though there's always a chance it won't.
It was heartbreaking to see Amy cry during Time of the Doctor. But it was heartbreaking to see Mary cry during this one. Just wanna hug you both!

When Mycroft mentioned that there might be another Holmes, I yelled "Sherrinford Holmes!" He's supposed to be the eldest of the brothers and the smartest. But he's not really considered canon. Arthur Conan Doyle's original name for Sherlock was Sherrinford. Luckily he went with Sherlock. But Sherrinford later popped up as being a sibling in non-canon novels.. there is a novel where Sherlock is forced to kill Sherrinford to save Watson. In another story, Sherrinford is framed for murder and Sherlock has to prove his innocence. There is another canon not related to Conan Doyle's stories where Shelock has a younger brother named Sigerson Holmes aka Sigi Holmes. If they are planning on bringing in non canon stuff, that would be interesting. I just hope it doesn't turn out that Moriarty is the secret Holmes brother.
Anyway awesome reaction video again. That whole sequence when Sherlock was dieing tripped me out.
There was a hint to another Holmes from Mycroft near the end "I don't do brotherly affection.... remember the other one!" that's only roughly what he said, I can't remember the exact words. So a brother could be on the cards... Or maybe Moriarty is the brother (highly doubtful I know, but Sherlock is only a rough translation of the Conan Doyle novels, bound to be a few twists here and there). How they'd actually work the story in would be interesting to see as neither Sherlock or Mycroft have hinted that they have a personal affinity with Moriarty.

this episode went in all kinds of directions when moriarty popped up at the end i freaked out i trully missed him :) in a weird kind of way he's crazy but really awesome
I would have felt the same, except bringing characters back without an explanation as to how they survived is just bad writing - so I didn't care when the video of Moriarty returned because it weakened the events of the episode if people actually believe its Moriarty and not the mysterious third Holmes brother using Moriarty as a way to blackmail or trick the world.

I was so moved by Sherlock playing marriage counselor. He was the only one that could do it. Nearly died doing it also. .

I just noticed how similar the scene at the end with Sherlock and John saying goodbye and the Doomsday scene are. Like John says something under the line of "I don't know what to say", so does Rose. Rose asks what's up next for the Doctor, so does John. We think that Sherlock and the Doctor are going to say "I love you", ect, ect.
This had the least amount of drinking. Also the contrast between your two faces at the end was priceless

Wait, he's right. Moran is the guy who tried to blow up the Parliament in The Empty Hearse, and he was arrested at the end of the episode.
The other brother?
In the Sherlock Holmes books Moriarty has a brother. (Also called James). I always thought it strange that the BBC didn't call Moriarty "Professor" then realised that it was Moriarty's brother who was "professor Moriarty". Perhaps the Moriarty we saw is the other brother?
Since I'm in the US this episode premieres on Sunday, but I watched it online today. Oh my gosh. I jumped off the couch once I saw Moriarty. That creepy little psycho pulled a Sherlock on us... None of my fellow Sherlockians have watched it yet and I've been singing Moriarty's song for the past 2 hours
