I am planning to schedule my English test in February 2021 so I am very happy to following your teaching in time in order to be ready for the test on time.
It was about time we met a great teacher making grammar & learning as interessant as fun(ny)! Thanks a lot Aly, you rock! I always ensure that I'm in time at the airport to daydream before my flight. By snoozing I could miss it but, fortunately, an alarm wakes me up on time for boarding. If not, I guess it would be high time I got a louder alarm, or a new smartphone…
I'm in time to watch this video as it is released because when I watch your other videos I'm never on time (suposing that i have a schedule for watching your videos). this pandemic it's the right time to watch over and over all of your videos.
Hi. 1. Usually I arrive at the airport in time, but it was one case when I was late and wasn't allowed on board. 2. It's about time to prepare myself for bed, because it's almost midnight. 3. It's time we went out to see sunset.
Brilliant and amazing explanation on such a confusing and difficult topic!!! Million thanks for that from Canada. This is a case when the teacher not only charming but also a genius in his teaching style.
Although I wasn’t on time to watch your last live on UA-cam, I saw it later and I realized that It’s really about time I subscribed you not to miss any of your videos in future !
The lesson opens my mind. I thought I clearly clarified IN TIME & ON TIME before but after watching your video, I found I missed some points. Now I totally get it. Thank you. Cảm ơn.
Thank you so much Ally for your english lessons!!! You´re a excelent english teacher!!! I´m brazilian and I don´t need subtitles for undestand your speech!!! Thanks!!!
We had mad rush to the airport last year August, the flight is 8:00 AM and we woke up at 6:30AM and we packed our things and run straight to the airport. We just arrived in time. We had to do cleaning stuff in toilet of the airport. Thanks so much for this lesson.
-İt is really/about time İ started watching this channel that i have just discovered, more often. -İt is time to hang out on this channel for a while to Practise for listening and daily phrases . Thanks dude .👍🤏💯
İt is about time I watched more of your videos? they are puurrfect :) thank you so much. Yesterday a friend of mine just asked the difference between on time and in time. I couldn’t really answer in a perfect way. Now I can do much better work. Thanks again!
I never fly on a plane yet so I can't do an example in this case. And I'm not uni student too. But I can say: Sometimes I do some homeworks just in time maybe half a minute before the teacher ask for it.
The other day I went to the dentist's and my appointment was scheduled for 5 pm. Since I had a few errands to run before going there, I was happy to be able to arrive ON time. After having my tooth fixed I headed towards the area where I had parked my car (improperly😬) and noticed a tow truck driver was just about to hook it up. Luckily I was just IN time to persuade him not to do it and to prevent the catastrophe. 😁 It's about time I got lucky (for a change!)
Great explanations! Now I can use both expressions with more confidence. In German, my mother tongue, there are also both expressions: "on time" = pünktlich; "in time" = rechtzeitig.
It's about time I learned the interesting difference between "in time" and "on time". Fortunately, it is on time to catch up this video lesson, in time to practise it here.
I'm so glad that I've found your channel. I really like the explaining and some acting is quite helpful to understand and remember better :) Greetings from Ukraine!
I highly recommend the sci-fi movie "In Time" with Just In Tim....berlake. Regarding the plot of movie and your explanations it makes perfect sense that it's not called "On Time".
@@arielgarcia6916 The grammar of a language doesn't change with the region it is spoken in. The rules of grammar are same for everyone, be it British, American, Australian, German, Colombian, Indian. What differs is the accent and the phrases or expressions. It is different in different places. This is the reason we have the country's name as the adjective before the word 'English'.
@SRBPS आकाश ਆਕਾਸ਼ AAKASH ah! Yes. You are right. I stand corrected. As for the example you've stated, it shows us how the grammar isn't affected by geography. It's the difference in expressions or the way the way sentences are formed adhering to the rules of grammar. There can be more than one way of saying something, and that's what I had pointed out. As far as the difference is spelling is concerned, you are right. And I am fully aware of the fact. Furthermore, the vocabulary also differs, like the use of the words 'lift' and 'elevator' to describe the same thing. But I felt, this wasn't bearing any connection to the question asked, so I didn't mention it.
@SRBPS आकाश ਆਕਾਸ਼ AAKASH I guess you are failing to see that this lesson is about grammar and the meaning of the phrases mentioned in the video. What's being taught is not a slang phrase or a local expression. It is used everywhere and can be used everywhere, as he is talking about English in general and not British English or British expressions. Sure, he teaches British English but not in this video.
It's about high time you did a video on this confusing topic. I fully appreciate it. I was a bit late due to work but I arrived in time at the party to see my girlfriend blow out the candles.
Hi Aly :) Yes, I've had once. Two years ago, I and my friend were trying to get to the airport. We had a flight to Bosnia. You know what, the traffic is terrible here in Turkey, especially in İstanbul. İn that morning, we had a mad rush to the airport. We got in a taxi and then metro. Thank god, we made it :) We arrived in time :) By the way, it's really time I watched Harry Potter :)
1. I cooked apple pie in time 2. My mom visited doctor on time 3. It's time I cleaned up my house 4. Yesterday was heavy rain, I came just in time P.S.Hello from Kazakhstan 🖐
hello, i'm sorry for asking this question, but i want you to make another video specifically about ''DUE'' and how we can use it, actually it sounds baffled to me and i can't comprehend the meanings of it, in some cases i'd prefer using it like, with all due respect and due to as the meaning of because of. i hope really to dedicate one video about it and thanks a lot for your efforts and your awesome videos, go ahead.
In today's video, the introduction has been a bit scary but the content was interesting and useful like always ready to be used in common conversation, thanks.

Great! In portuguese we can use "on time" to say "a tempo, na hora" and "in time", "com tempo de, em tempo de". Perfect! Thank you!
Excellent video. Different situations make the difference between on time and in time!
Ur three last videos just amazing ,can't get enough them. THX
