Congratulations for your achievement!! Anyway, I can tell that I'm losing my English skills every day and your videos have been very practical for me to remind myself how American people speak, I really appreciate that!! Thank you!!

Native English speaker here. "Taking the high road" meaning is more of not allowing others bad behavior influence you to match their bad behavior. "She was so rude and insulted me, but I'm going to take the high road, and ignore her." Hope this helps😊
Great video! Thank you for posting this. I find it sometimes difficult to get myself "immersed" in English as I am not a native and not living in an English-speaking country. Idioms definitely provide this "immersion". Plus, talking to my toddler exclusively in English ;-)
I knew most of these phrases lol 😆 even though English isn’t my first language 🎊 🎉 you’re are killing it with this informative educational video, thanks 🙏
Something that i find extremely helpfull is to try to use them all in a made up converstation. For e.g: you need to stop getting hammerd and pay the piper. Or You nedd to stop rolling with the punches and draw the line for him , i say it's worth a shot ,stop making a great deal out of it.
Thank you Marina you are inspired me to learn in English more and more and İ was wondering if you can make a video about US visa interview. İt is essential for me . İ will look forward to it

The idiom "on fire" is very interesting. I'm Hungarian, we also use something similar, but it means the exact opposite in Hungarian in my country. "He was burning" means failed or humiliated or something like these. "Fiery", this is said for animals during mating season. :)
Dear Marina! Well-done! Congratulations on your brand new US citizenship! Please keep up the good job you have been doing now for quite a while, "spoiling" us with huge bunches of idioms, slang and all sorts of native-sounding stuff! To tell you the truth, being a professional translator, I have learnt a lot from you.
