Greetings warriors! The Spring Festival will be earlier this year and so will be the update!🔥
In the previous hero survey, we received lots of inspiring suggestions. Last time we remade Oli's skills, and here comes Quentin's!💖
In the upcoming update, there will be changes in his normal attack, dodge, skills, and soulboon effects. Speak no more, let's take a look at the video for details.🎥
I will forever miss Shield Bash as ability but really happy with charge attack moved from default attack to ability

shield bash was op af on a real mirage with 1st stile, crowbar and a spike ring literally 1shots bosses.
Upd: ok nevermind y'all. Smite is actually even more op and you still can play with shield bash but only if RNG says so.
Tbf I can actually play him much better this way. I always had issues cuz I wasn't used to the block for dodge and the charge attack was always prioritized unless I rapid tapped.
Finally, I knew it, of course Chilly devs know which hero they need to buff but I hope he won't be that broken as freak as Oli. We need some little buff here and there for making him fun to play. Love from Vietnam ❤️❤️❤️

100% agreed, the cancel animation technique is dead but new Gerald kinda fun tho
You still have that -- it's a skill now, and you can remove its cooldown, essentially making it a normal attack. Except better, because it activates no-flinch.
Unfortunately, the shield bash is super weak now (it's forward + dodge), and more importantly, its hit box is much smaller.
my main hero is finally getting a rework, i have no idea how much i love this guy

This was a much needed adjustment, hopefully strategies don't revert to turtle in a corner and pray.

ah yes, because clearly neutering the two best parts of his kit (cancelling and his basic fucking damage mechanic) was very needed
@@MaccaCheese but those two things are still in his kit, why are you complaining? He can still cancel and flail spam
@@Where_would_I_go_without_you that doesn't mean they still haven't been absolutely neutered
@@MaccaCheese depends on how you look at it. You won't accidentally use flail when you spam the attack button, block and shield bash are now one button so shield bash user now have a free slot, flail now has styles and possibly better damage.

Finally! I've been having many losses this week with Quentin. I though he is completely useless without proper items. And thankfully that fvcking ball of angel is now faster.

Hello developers the update is just fire just please tell me when the update will be released in the soul knight.
Charged shield and block were very cool, but Im still very happy that default attack finnaly can attack normaly, without accidental charges.

i think this gerard tweak update is actually a NERFED UPDATE because gerard before adjustment DODGE is way more better to me than the after adjustment because when i am using gerard and my HP are low i can use the DODGE to DEFEND myself to enemies projectiles...
Hmm maybe chillyroom has just got bigger reasons why they TWEAK gerard playstyle.
i am not saying chillyroom is wrong about this im just saying my opinion regardless to the TWEAK UPDATE to gerard tysm and MERRY CHRISTMAS ✨

I'm gonna wait until they add new bosses and a longer story but as for now this is actually awesome

I hope in next update in Soul Knight they can make a new Hero that has an ability to (Copy All Heroes Abilities and not only that it has an ability to Shoots Black Hole or Dark Matter which is Continuously growing Bigger and Larger Nonstop and its Damage to Minions and Bosses is Continuous Damage or it has the Ability to make them commit Suicide and its Damage to Minions and Bosses is only One Hit Damage lastly its Skills and Abilities Effects is color Dark Black) please

Ну я не знаю, по моему старый уворот Жерара был лучше. Можно было встать в угол и ждать пока враги умрут от какого нибудь яда от предметов, или от фамильяров. Это отличало Жерара от остальных - полная неуязвимость при уклонении. А так... Ну такое, хотя это кому-то да и понравится.

this was not necessary at all, gerard was fine, he didn't need a buff
the real problem is that the community is too lazy to learn any unique mechanic, and end up blaming that on the character
you've *ruined* gerard with this rework, not improved him

@@MaccaCheese gerard is the most prominent example of this, he literally can't do anything without anything specific. unlike characters like quan huying who literally just goes to town without any good items.
