I just put a $500 hold deposit down on my 2 Salty's!! I really only needed to put $100 per Yak but I'll put the $500 towards total price. My local dealer, Line Cutterz has been out of stock for over 7 months & the Old Towns go fast. He just got 30 in yesterday & they are all just about spoken for. Vance the owner & inventor of Line Cutterz is a cool Cat! (I didn't know he was on Shark Tank & Mark Cuban picked him up!) They are $2200ea but you get $200 off promo or over $200 Saltwater Fishing package. We chose the Fishing Package. Includes their new Diesel Rods ($130ea value), Floating fish net, Line Cutterz, Grippers, and all kinds of goodies. I've already ordered my Rudder Bolts, Floating Caps, & a bunch of stuff from Navaro's (spelling) I love his stuff.. Can't wait to hit the marshes & offshore here S of Houston. I have a Custom 6x9' Utility trailer that I need to convert to carry these 2 yaks but I'll figure something out.. Enjoy & Get Sum🤟
I have the 106 MK and it’s awesome. I’m upgrading it at with a MotorGuide XI 3 mounted on the bow. I can’t live without spotlock and the whole upgrade will take less than an hour. Not cheap though but my yak will be exactly how I want it
I'm not understanding how 1 bolt is better than the other for the rudder? Couldn't the plastic washers be added to the stock bolt? Appreciate clarification, thanks
At 2:03 you mention missing a nut and knob on the pedal drive. I did not see in the video where you replaced it. If you did, where did you find the replacement bolt?
When peddling in reverse on the 106 have you noticed a repetitive thumping? Forward is smooth but backpeddeling is not smooth. Have you come across this? Love everything except this issue. Oldtown said it's "cavitation"... I'm not sure about that.
That trailer is nice!

Awesome, man! You will not be disappointed!
I just added a piece of starboard to the rear pole mount location. Then added a 6" track plate onto it. 1/4 #20 coarse thread bolts.
Navarre makes a floating wing nut for the prop, that's what you want
Amen! Huge upgrade!
Thank you I just purchase my old town pdl 106 and soon when it arrive I will change it out thank you so much
Nice yak and trailer. Looking forward to going back out with you when we come back in May.
That trailer looks very familiar. Still looks good. Never thought of putting the wheel on the tongue part. Nice.
😂😂

No nut with the stock bolt. Just a pin. Super lose.

I went straight to Old Town. Called the number on their website.
@@panhandlesalt thank you...I will do that.

Not much. I only peddle back to hold position. Half peddles really.
