- time lapse of me making a Rod Holder for their Kayak here is an idea!
just slapped together within 40 minutes!
will be mainly used for storage using the 3 vertical holders!
the Esky needs a fixing point/strapped down to the kayak so the Esky does not fall in if bait fishing with the side holders!
thanks all for the positive comments if i knew it would get this many hits i would have done a bit better job.. but like i said its only something i knocked up at the last minute..! to all the negative ppl... go eat a fat one.. hahaha - Розваги
Great idea to have your safety glasses readily available... better idea is to put them on!
Ed Henderson didn’t have any!
And wanted it done! So it’s simple! I did it without glasses!
Scotty products are tough and this one is no different.
That is AWESOME and I really like your helper. "Fish On"
Nice work and quick! Well done mate
This is a great video! it was really helpful and I hope you make more videos like this!
*This shirt is a perfect fun birthday gift for my fisherman husband. We both like the gray color I chose. The bass graphic is very realistic, and the sentiment is clever.*
Really cool idea buddy, I’ll have to try something similar for the adventure bike 😬😃👍
is is freakin GREAT!!!! and for those saying why would you build one when you can buy one, well it's pretty darn simple, custom and it's fun, why be lazy when you can get hands on. stupid question, as it doesn;t matter how much money one has I think it's cool to have money and be humble and be creative not lazy
***** i like your style tracey!!! dead right! i was bored and going fishing the next day so whipped it up! not the greatest but works all the same! i added an anchor point later so that i hockey strap the esky/cooler down so it doesn't fall overboard! thanks for the positive feedback
:) I guess being an artist I can easily appreciate , and don'tchya just love everyone has freakin answers for everything and half have no darn clue LOL I am def using this idea on back of my yak :) thanx so much for sharing your awesome creativity.
That's pretty cool. I just use an old metal pipe and bury it a little bit in the ground to fish from the bank of a lake
Great work mate, perfect Rod holder. Will be looking for a cooler to make one like yours. Now let's go catch some fish for the Bar B .Mate
Very nice. Dont forget to wear Eye protection. Thanks again for the good video.
I'm going to use this idea create a mount to the front of my truck. Thank you.
He he nice job and a great idea.
Dude, health & safety with the grinder!
Good as idea mate
Nice work buzz, love what you do, when's the next video??
Very nice!
Very impressive.
VTV SD not really mate its a piece of piss! but cheers
Hey Matty. Found one of your Goulburn vids and then had to start watching all of em. Digging on em that much mate. You're a legend, such a laidback style. Just back from a week at the Murray and pulled in some nice slver perch ( all released of course) found Nillhacootie on the way home. Dying to fish that. Judging from your vids locations I'm guessing you're around Benalla/Wang area? Would love to bump into you out and about and have a fish. If you're ever up for some salt water action, hit us up mate, we're down by the beach.
great video and easy rod holder. what's the crate ?
nice vid man
I see you cut slots in the holders to keep the rods from turning, Good move
What kind of box and s that. I like it better than the crates so many use. Expensive? And just wondering what's with the orange vest.
Cool vid
What brand of cooler is that?
Please come back we miss you
dude use goggles when using the cutoff grinder - you ever have a steel sliver in your eye? it dont take much
Sparks Sparks you would prob know looking at your name hehehe cheers mate! will do next time!
good for kayat fishing
Looks good , you should have been a plumber. Now get out and use it, catch some fish and put them on youtube, I'm looking forward to the next episode.
I will reiterate the comment I just deleted after I realised you had actually cut grooves for the reels. You can drill a hole on the front of the pipe about 3 quarters of an inch in diameter then saw vertically either side of the hole which will leave a perfect U shaped channel.
kingklabe correct mate!!! my grooves were pretty shitly done!! i think i was going to do that but i didn't have a 16mm hole saw on me! i hope ppl see your comment and do what you said!!! great tip
Bentley knows when the camera`s on, did you buy all the pipe fittings from Zack at Bunnings?
Any particular reason you felt the need for the reflective vest? A bunch of heavy machinery barreling through you yard maybe? LOL
Good job on the project though!
I just finished work and got home and decided to whip it up before putting on dinner!
the sound and video aren't synced for me. idk if anyone has this problem
+Shaun Chedister i think its my camera i use shaun.. does my head in
why lock it down keep it were you can take it apart if wanted.
good point mate... yeah.. i have plenty of esky's i usually take this one only for fishing. but you are spot on
Now try and open the cooler.
"TOP" VIDEO MATE. I HAVE JUST STARTED TO DO FISHING I DO BEACH. I KNOW YOU CAN USE FISH PRAWN CHICKEN WORM CAN YOU USE CORN OR HOT DOPG SAUAGE ?
Please come back to yt
is that an American bulldog
nah mate english Staffordshire... she is smarter than most humans....well me anyway
No need for goggles. Safety squint!
No vids for a year,? What's happened?
Tech Tests i did a video a month ago! but no building vids! I'm about to built a storage unit for my 3 kayaks so i might try making a quick video! but just like this rod holder I'm only going to slap it together!
Are you familiar with safety? Angle grinder - no safety guard, hand - no gloves, eyes - no glasses. Do not show this video to anybody or it will be bunch of new disabled people.
I take off the guard on mine it gets in the way but I do wear gloves and glasses not good gloves but I wear some
