Back to business! Moritz (Maximilian Mundt), Lenny (Danilo Kamperidis) and Dan (Damian Hardung) quickly became shooting stars with their online drugs shop MyDrugs - and after making 1 million Euros they decided to call it a day and quit. Kind of. The decision doesn't go well with Moritz’ ego, who just can’t let go and is running out of white lies to tell Lisa (Lena Klenke). On top of that Lenny is constantly dragging his new hacker buddy Kira (Lena Urzendowsky) into their business and they're followed not only by the police, but also by two street-gangsters.

Did u guys know this series is inspired by a true story about an 18 year old german boy who sold drugs online from home. His name was Shiny Flakes. But he was arrested and given 7 years in prison. The police found 320 kilograms of drugs worth 4.1 million euros in his room😅

I've been refreshing Netflix's page frantically for some time to get news about this show. I'm so glad that it's finally coming. Really really excited. Season 1 was definitely one of my favourite shows of 2019. It's a shame that shows like these are never talked about, it's probably the pinnacle of German TV.

The character development was super good, I actually felt like I was in his place and felt his emotions. Super good season!

Wollte eigentlich PS4 spielen. Wollte aber noch etwas Essen. Habe dann aus Neugier die Serie angemacht. Ich konnte nicht aufhören zu gucken. Staffel 1 und Staffel 2 an einem Tag am Stück. @@cato9860 no, they changed the voices, when the series first came out it was the German actors speaking English, but now it is a separate voice with a British English accent, this might be different in other countries though. .

Literally, EVERY single problem the story faces, is because Moritz is a coward, and as I like to say, he needs to grow a pair. Every single problem is season one and two is because he doesn’t have the balls to speak up, or doesn’t have the confidence to tell somebody something important until it’s too late and they see it as a betrayal. Also, he just is kind of stupid, (especially with the people in Rotterdam.) and even if I hate this part of the show, I still enjoyed it overall.
At the same time you need to remember that he is a socially akward nerd. His idea from the beginning was to buy one bag of e to impress his girl. If you'd tell him that he would run a drug website in the first episode he would loose his shit. He has come a longer way than you think. Just that the writing/ pacing of the show makes it seem pretty seemless.
K. G I definitely understand that point, and without that we wouldn’t have the show the way it is. The story is dependent on his bad decision making to propel it forward, and that’s why all the problems stem from his weak confidence.

Am I the only one that sees links to breaking bad? Not just because of drugs, but because in breaking bad his initial excuse was that he was doing this to pay for his cancer treatment and to help family, but he eventually got wrapped up into the idea of being a criminal. The same appears to have happened to Moritz. He first did it to win Lisa back, but we can blatantly see towards the end him trying to expand his variety (the restaurant scene) and he clearly becomes invested in the idea of selling drugs.

The “British english” version (which makes no sense, british is English) sounds awful and the voices do not reflect the characters in the german version at all, luckily I can speak german and when I switch it into “british” it sounds ridiculous
Yeah I noticed that too, it was completely pointless. I do think Moritz sounds a bit better, but it took the edge off Buba and he just sounds like any other middle aged man from the north
@@xkatex2803 I agree with you, i'm born and raised in the Netherlands so German is no problem in terms of speaking and understanding for me. But i found out how to change the language in the last episode and i've just binge watched the whole series.. So i'm rewatching certain parts of which i found it weird that it was dubbed. For example: The scene where he visits Rotterdam, it sounds very unreal in English (because we Dutch people have a certain accent when speaking German) And well the scene was so much better in German.
Yeah, Britisch ist zwar Englisch, aber manche Wörter sind anders als im Amerikanischen Englisch und da wir in Deutschland das Britische Englisch lernen, tun die das auch so übersetzen.
Btw, die Britische Übersetzung konnte man sich schon geben, zumindest bei den Hauptcharaktären. Bei den anderen... Joa, ist schon gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nach nah Zeit ist es bestimmt nicht mehr so schlimm.
