Already having a Kickr Core, I can't wait for the frame to be released on its own along with the zwift cog. Switching bike between myself and my partner really sucks since we're taking turns almost daily.
I have a hub and can't wait for the frame to be available separately. I also hope more trainer manufacturers become compatible with the one drive system soon :)
It's a chain tensioner, flipping it off so there's no tension allows you to hang the chain on the custom dropout. This makes it easy to take the frame off the trainer without getting your hands greasy!
Looks nice! Will be waiting for the frame to be sold separatly, and for @wahoofitness to release a new firmware for kickr V5 to support v-gears. Also variable or changeable crank arm length is mandatory!
Will the forks be compatible with the Kickr climb? Most people already have the hardware so the package wont interest most people, but the adjustment for different people is where it’s at so this needs to be effortless and you also need family subscriptions to compliment.
I believe it is missing an important feature, which is degree of freedom for lateral and longitudinal movement in order to avoid overload on the hips, a common problem people have when riding a lot indoor.
Looks just amazing and I cannot wait till the ride is available. I have been looking at second hand smart bikes so now I have the complete package when its available. I am tired of taking my bike off and on every time i want to ride outside.
I assumed the front black fork was a climb and would change the angle for uphill and down. Big miss. Didn’t bother with the rest of the video once I realized
Im blown away that they designed the frame with that allen key in mind😮. Lol 😅 are the bolts getting loose all the time? At first i thought they build a gradient changer inside that black piece.. now im dissapointed that this is 1300 euro.also wonder how sweat proof everything is.
Zwift is missing a big opportunity by holding off on releasing the bike separately for those of us who already have a Kickr. This is the northern hemisphere summer, when a lot of people are taking their bikes off the trainer and riding outdoors. The trainer-specific bike would be a great complement for those days and times that riding outdoors is problematic. Waiting until late autumn means waiting until people are already putting their bikes back on the trainers which means they won't need the trainer-specific bike.
How did you miss on not making this compatible with standard square taper cranks? Literally the entire industry has abandoned the one-size-fits-all crankset.
well. when you buy the frame , do they not giving the 12month subscription? this should be enough to be stress free, gives enough time to add additional compatibility and extra features.
@@y.a.p8951 I wouldn't a buy a device on the promise of a feature that might or might not be delivered in the future. They could just as well decide to lock you indefinitely into their ecosystem.
The Zwitf price was the same since 2018, in 6 years anyone has to expect a price increase. Also they need to sell more hardware so they can increase their suscription sales.
@@Gatotsu2009 I agree, my biggest complaint about the price rise is it jumped so high so quickly. It would have been more palatable to increase by a few % per year so avoid a large jump.
If you are an outdoor cyclist, you will like the feel of a chain much better than a belt! A chain is also much easier to maintain and more affordable than a belt system.
For a second I was thinking what a cool idea until the Alan key tool came out. What a terrible design feature. Surely that could have been just an accessory that comes in the box and not attached to the frame.
@@jamesmckenzie3532 seriously tho, sticking it in the middle of the frame? The only reason I can see the need for this bike is if there are more than one person in the house wanting to use it. What does this bike do that a normal bike on trainer set up doesn’t?
@@jackdavis8786 Most people don't or can't have a dedicated bicycle on their trainer. This should cost as much as an aluminum bicycle and you don't have to be swapping your bike on and off of the trainer.
@@jamesmckenzie3532 it takes 30sec to take your bike on and off, it doesn’t solve any problem, you could buy an old steel bike for a few hundred pounds and have a dedicated indoor setup
Complete fail. Not as nice as using my own bike instead. I can get a used bike for something dedicated. The button shifting is a poor simulation of real shifting. There's no built-in climb functionality. Waste of money! Zwift is a software company. Stick to that. More online roads! Optional real-world riding.
Deliberately preventing people from using any other crank or bottom bracket by using a non ISO sized proprietary square taper bottom bracket is truly a scumbag move from Zwift. 170mm cranks are a deal breaker for a lot of people.
Dang, if I didn't already have a set up I'd be all over this... looks amazing!

Just get a Wattbike lol
@@tommyphillips8547 Wattbikes are overpriced garbage lol
Or get a chain lift. Makes taking the bike in and out of the trainer a breeze.
Can't wait for the frame itself. We keep switching bikes when we both want to zwift the same day xD
would be good if the smart bike can be bought separately without core, which I already have?
This frame only option is coming this Fall.
Great work guys, it looks fantastic!
Curious, why isn't the free zwift membership included for people who buy this bike in Australia?
Will a version without the Kickr Core become available? I already have the core but really want the rest of the kit
Available later this year.

we got all we need in the advert.
white bike , black guy and the Asian girl.
I love it😂
Thats pretty funny
Can it be used with another app than Zwift? 😛
@zwift does anyone know when the zwift ride needs to get new lube on it? They say i don´t need to lube it. So never ever or at some point?
Why the little pulley gizmo behind the chainring/crank?

Any chance of include 1year membership or more maybe getting new upcoming Zwift bike this 26 June?
I can even bring your stuff to really gym...
175mm cranks?
And a sweat fender for the chain.
Oh snap!!!!

No plans to make it compatible with the climb. Our goal was to keep it very simple for V1.
When is it coming to India .
Can't wait for this to cost more than a bike and a smart trainer
Can't wait for this not to even be sold in Canada
Edit: I stand corrected, $2000 cad
If this would have been available when i started out i would 💯 have gone for it. Looks great.
Will it be avaliable in asia ?
Coming to Japan soon.
But I already have the Kickr v6. I just need the frame. I also have the cog. Why not release the frame by it self at the same time for people like me?

Can I use the zwift hub with the frame?
Yes when the frame only option becomes available.
Pedals supplied?
Yes flat pedals are included, but you can add your own pedals if you prefer to ride with cleats. Ride on!
Wait… the seat setback isn’t adjustable? Why?
We designed the bike based on thousands of fittings so unless your fit is really out of the ordinary, it should work.
Will you have 172.5 cranks available?
No plans yet.
It looks amazing 😍
Why not have it sold with Zwift hub?
Discontinued
