My fiance' - a French Canadian has been trying to convince me to go to Canada for quite some time and your video - in all its exhilarating and energetic joie de vivre and superlative photography has swung my heart across the border. I know Sasha will be thrilled with my decision. This was a delight! Thank you so much.
Howdy Robert,I just watched your wonderful video on your Canada trip for the third time here.Wow!This is surely a feast for the eyes and ears,as always.Well done, buddy.Greetings from Bruges,Belgium.William
Robert , great video , of my home city , i lived in Toronto for 20 years , i remember watching the CN Tower construction , from my class room while in my 8th grade , i could also see it from my bedroom window , Toronto is a great city , i try to visit every year , younge st Bloor, dundas , college i walked for years , great memories of my life their,
Thank you so much for the lovely video about Canada, it was so fantastic that we even watched as a family. You brought flash backs of too many memories. The shocking part is that I lived in many places in Canada, especially the city of Toronto. I’ve never heard about 1000 islands, hearing that made our jaws drop. Will you let us go back there and see that magnificent place. And long time ago I was in Vancouver-BC and I had seen some houses that were built on top of the border and between US and Canada. A million thumbs up for your video and keep up the good work, keep in touch. -
Dear Mr. Robert, I've almost forgotten to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. With our best wishes from my family to yours. Thanks again. -
Robert your research is impeccable and right on ! Great video which could be used as a educational tool I guess it is! Thank you from Ottawa! we are heading to Destin in 2018 and New Orleans can't wait! Salut!
wow, awesome touring. thanks alot man for the free touring for us, this is so tantalizing, i must hit Cananda someday. so refreshing and beautiful country. Reymon from South Africa
Wonderful. I’ve been to the falls. Both sides. And to the 1000 island. Toured the castle on heart island. But never went any farther. This was great to see. Such beautiful cities. You did an amazing job showing them. ❤️
I love how the deeper in to Quebec you got, the more perfect your French pronunciation. Vous avez fait un merveilleux voyage; je vous remercie pour montrer votre vidéo ! Come back soon!
Merci, I don't really speak French, just know a few words and expressions, but I love the language. I would really like to go back and explore Quebec in more depth. The Charlevoix area sounds really interesting.
Charlevoix is the best! Mountains, alot of hiking! And the food! OMG! Tadoussac, Escoumin (Best fish restaurant in canada, also a fish market) Go its worth it. Dont need to know french, most of us speak english :) Montrealer here :) !
WOW! I love the awesome editing you did, plus the narration and music are great, plus all those historical facts you gathered! I can imagine the many, many, MANY hours you to put into this, for I have done some myself on some of my road trips, and it was NOTHING compared to this!! Great stuff!! Thanks!
Enjoyed this video immensely. Especially the portion where you visited Montreal. I remember spending 10 days there in 2001. While there, we did a little genealogy research as my Ancestors were among the founders of the city dating back to 1520 or thereabouts. Sure enough, there is a Monument in a park in the Old City with their names on it, Jean Hebert, and also when you visited the Museum by the waterfront, the crypt you mentioned was his crypt they uncovered when they did the excavation for the Museum. The city was also hosting the famous Jazz Festival that year in the same location as that Festival on Rue Ste. Catherine. You do excellent work. Thank you.
very nicely done. video the islands off ontario. ottawa history. interesting par. government buildings. and montreal.educational. i went to toronto ont.and vancover b.c.petty nice cities too. thanks for sharing. glad u all had fun. take great care
Hey Robert! I had no idea you were doing videos back then! Your abilities- videography, narrating, voiceovers and music control have progressed wonderfully! I enjoyed this. See you in 2021!😎🤓
It's great to find an old video of your tour of Canada. I'm in Gatineau but work in Ottawa (from home now because of the pandemic) and seeing you and your family on this tour is so much fun! We also had dinner in Quebec city at the same restaurant. Delicious! If you ever come back to Ottawa, you've got yourself a guide! Lots more to see in our beautiful city and the Gatineau region! Hope to meet you one day as we will be snowbirds in Florida in 2023! Daniel and Colette
I’m impressed with your French pronunciation, much better than mine. Quebec City is the most beautiful city I’ve visited. Thank you by the way for another great video.
Traveling Robert! I really like your videos, and this one is very good. I like your actual driving videos the best, getting out there on the back roads are very interesting. I hope you take a drive across the wilderness provinces of Canada, Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan sometime soon! What a road trip that would be!
great trip,if you ever go to Toronto go north to cottage country, its perfect for campers, visit Huntsville ant the Algonquin park, just make sure you do it in the summer, lol
Robert thank you so much for this lovely tour of Canada, my favorite country I have only visited Vancouver How I wish I could see both Toronto and Montreal
Being Canadian I really enjoyed your trip here, with your thoughts of my country. Captain Picard was hysterical. I agree Canadians don't know time or directions. My pet peeve as well. Sent a small donation to help with videos or to buy you a beer 🍻. Thanks Robert. BTW your French pronunciation is excellent.
I love this. I thought about pulling out some of my older cameras for my soon to happen travels, but I've been watching a lot of the more recent videos and I'm kinda jealous of the HD quality. I may end up using my phone at first and just let the kids play with the older camcorder. It still works very well, and I'm sure in the right light they can get some pretty awesome footage. I think that first one I have is from about 2008. I've gotten a lot of great destination ideas from y'all's travels and can't wait to see where else you'll go.
Awesome video Robert. I live an hour north of Toronto. Started watching your channel recently as a fellow RVer. Learned a few historic facts I was unaware of. Retire next year and our plan is to RV across Canada.
Urania
Northern Ontario is more picturesque than southern Ontario - the Trans Canada Highway from Sault St. Marie to Thunder Bay, along Lake Superior, is absolutely beautiful - it takes a full day!!!
Very informative! I recently moved to Canada but haven't been outside Toronto yet. This gives me a good idea of what I could look forward to. Thanks for sharing this.
Pienso que es estupendo reportaje de vídeo sobre Canadá. Bonita voz y me gusta tu acento hablando inglés. Saludos desde España. // I think it's great video report about Canada. Nice voice and I like your accent when speaking English. Greetings from Spain.

Sueño hacer lo mismo que usted cuando me retire... mientras tanto, contemplo visitar lugares de interés mientras tome vacaciones. Sus videos son una gran referencia y una ayuda inmensa. Me alegra haberlo encontrado. En el primer video que ví de usted le comenté que su voz era parecida a la de Antonio Banderas... uno de mis actores preferidos. Saludos desde Puerto Rico!
ah, this is my country... I actually live in Niagara Falls! you sure covered a lot of ground in only a 10 day trip! unfortunate that you had to deal with rain and clouds on a few of the days. (still nowhere near the bad luck we had in Hawaii last May where it rained 6 or 7 days out of the 2 weeks we were there) I have never spent any time in Montreal or Quebec City - what an absolute treasure of history there! I'm a photographer myself and so I was just drooling over the charming scenes of old buildings and narrow European style streets... it did also make me think a bit of St Augustine down in your home state which I have enjoyed visiting the past 2 years. I think you do a great job of squeezing in so many activities on your trip and this is generally how our family travels as well... though I find now that I am in my mid 40's I am starting to take things a bit slower and like to just stay in one place and relax more. thanks again for all your hard work filming. editing and narrating this trip. I am trying to figure out the famous person who your voice is reminding me of. you could certainly do narration for professional documentaries with a voice like that.
When his voice lowers to a rich baritone, it evokes the late great Ricardo Montalban's unmistakable vocal timbre. Mr. Montalban used to do much voice-over narration.
Poutine - "It is basically french fries with cheese turds (huh?), gravy and meat" LMAO...glad you enjoyed our wonderful country Robert. You should make your way out to the prairies and Rockies with the final destination of Vancouver and the Pacific Ocean. Keep up the fantastic vlogging sir.
Great vlog! Very informative and well executed! Your accent and narrating style is excellent. I watched the full 1.5hr! I'm planning to visit Canada and this gave me a good insight. Thanks
Hi, I really enjoyed this, nice work. I was researching videos on Tampa,. Florida because I am going there next week when I came across this one. I watched a few of your other U.S. cities and then wondered if this guy has ever been to Canada when I found it. You sure do get around. I have never been to Quebec city so I really should go this summer, just beautiful. If you ever come back to Canada you should visit the Rockies and Vancouver. Cheers, from Steve in Montreal.
Fabulous, consummate video! Have you produced videos for other parts of Canada? Please keep up your excellence; I am definitely interested in your eloquent narration and presentation of other beautiful regions in Canada.
JetL011 Hi, thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately I haven't traveled to any other parts of Canada, but Vancouver in on the short list. Also further in the future I hope to see the Canadian Rockies and the Yukon area as part of a trip to Alaska.
TravelingRobert You're welcome. I look forward to those videos! Meanwhile, do you plan to produce an extended/expanded version of this current video? Were there any parts where you went but currently excluded?
Hi Robert, Thanks for your video, I've subscribe your channel and watch most of your video from kentucky Ohio, Nashville, Orlean. Canada which i like most.
Great travelogue. I live in Ottawa right now. . but you seem to know more about Ontario and Quebec than me! I wonder how you plan what to see. seems like it is a very thought out plan each day of where to go and in what order.
+Daniel Tynan Thank you, and yeah, I do a lot of research before the trip, and a little bit after, to cover some of the stuff that I saw that actually came as a surprise. Can't actually predict everything you'll se on a trip. It is a very rewarding and educational experience.
I remember going up the CN tower back in 2007. I got on the glass floor and froze in terror. My better half had to take my hand and physically pull me away from it, cos I couldn’t move! 😂😂
Robert , i did not mention up on the CN Tower there is a slow rotating restaurant , also if you should ever go back to Toronto ? go try the very popular veal sandwiches at " California Veal" they are famous for there sandwiches , located near College st, similar to the cheese steaks in Philly , but these veal sandwiches are delicious, My Favorite. .
TravelingRobert If you ever make a trip out west to victoria make sure you have time to visit Craig Derrick Castle. It and Casa Loma were the only two grand Canadian homes featured on the old A&E show Americas Castles back when A&E wasn't all about duck dynasty and the walburgs
Just an FYI, when you were in the trailer park in Trenton, Ontario, the water you were near is known as the Bay of Quinte and the land on the other side is the County of Prince Edward. Otherwise, amazing video.
Robert Carter Hey thanks for the correction. Perhaps I should have looked at a map first before assuming that I was seeing what I though I was seeing. Let me see if I can correct it somehow. Anyway, thanks again.
The reason why you might've had trouble getting to the CN Tower is because you got off at St. Andrew instead of Union Station, which is the subway stop right after that. Just thought I'd mention it. :D
Did you know that in the old port right where that clock tower is. Right across on that piece of land also known as La-Ronde there are the World Renound International Fireworks Competition? Each Country participating has their own unique firework show on the weekends in June and July. Canada is pretty good themselves. (Not trying to brag....)
Mr robert , i enjoy all your videos very much, please continue making these videos, they bring me so much joy and inspiration, thank you !
So beautiful and clean . And

Next time you HAVE to stay in Kingston. Also try not to skip St. Lawrence Market in Toronto next time.
The reason why you might've had trouble getting to the CN Tower is because you got off at St. Andrew instead of Union Station, which is the subway stop right after that.
Just thought I'd mention it. :D
amazing journey guide.
+Xiaobing Yin Thanks!
That was a nice subway. That's the third I have seen.
Beautiful city but man too many clouds? What time of the year did you travel Robert?
If memory serves this was in June
merci de nous faire participer à votre beau voyage - tank you - beautiful -
Thank you!
