I sort of fell away from a lot of booktube the past couple years - just because I was busy. But it has become such a safe, calming space for me during this whole Buffoonery. Especially your channel. Thank you so much for you videos!
Yes I needed this video! Reading really helps with the stress right now. I agree fantasy is my favourite right now to escape from the whole panic going on right now. Stay safe and healthy everyone 😇
Yeah. And my library card is really old (I recently turned 18 and haven’t updated it to an adult card yet) so I don’t know the pin to use any of the library websites😭
Hi Regan!! This isn't on the list, but I started Keeper of the Lost Cities on the cusp of my social distancing last week because I've watched so many vlogs of you reading it. Well... I got hooked, and I'm already on Neverseen. I'm going to be "working from home" (a.k.a. checking email every hour because there's not much I can do from home) and these books are perfect for all of my free time. They're so easy, and I'm obsessed with the characters *cough* Keefe *cough*. Thanks for introducing them to me!!
I’m so early😆! I started The Way of Kings because I saw it on your reading vlog and I’m almost finished. I have to say I think it is my new favorite book!

If you like The City of Dreaming Books, I recommend one of Walter Moers's other books: The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear. It's totally surreal and amazing!

Love that you did this! My uni just switched to internet based lectures so great timing with the book recs, it's scary how global corona is, I live in sweden and i'm experiencing the same things you guys are experiencing over in the US. On the topic of the next stromlight archive book coming out later this year - would you consider doing a spoilery reading vlog like you did with the final Throne of Glass book? I get that a spoilery vlog probably gets less views than a non-spoiler one, but it would be so interesting hearing your thoughts along the way and being able to have a spoiler filled discussion in the comment section!

I would love to get some recommendations for books written where the narrator is talking to the reader (like hundred thousand kingdoms by n.k. jemisin!!!)
aphroditereads I just read eight perfect murders by Peter Swanson because Kayla from BooksandLala recommended it and it falls in this category! It’s a thriller which is usually a genre I don’t gravitate towards but I enjoyed it a lot.
Please PLEASE read the princess chronicles by Tarrah Montgomery. They are the best book and haven’t really been noticed but the are AMAAAZING. Btw my favorites are princess and the pesky pea, and I’m not Cinderella, but they are all amazing ✨✨
I also started working from home last Tuesday. Before the community quarantine was implemented in my city in the Philippines, I bought The Toll so I'm rereading from book 1 before I read it.
Hi regan. I’m reading Fleishman Is In Trouble now. Enjoying it so far. QUESTIONS! 1. I’ve never listened to books. Which do you recommend as a first listen. 2. I’ve not read a fantasy book yet in my 60+ years. Which do you recommend as a first read. I enjoy your reviews, you are adorable to watch and listen to. 😊. Happy reading.
Thanks for the recommendations! I definitely agree with you about how great the Stormlight Archives series is -- the three books out now could get someone through perhaps a week of this! My daughter lives in NYC too -- stay safe and healthy!
Can you do a video on very emotional books? Such as books that will make you cry (happy or sad tears) I love my fantasy books but I do want to experience more heartaches that a book can bring you. I know turtles all the way down by john green is one.

Fantasy Books she mentioned
The stormlight archive by Brandon Sanderson ( amzn.to/3bWz1Qz )
The demon king by Cinda Williams China ( amzn.to/2E2kCWA)
The black prism by brent weeks( amzn.to/3htvAC6)
Omg this Timing 😭 I just placed my amazon order a few hours ago😭😂
I would love to get some recommendations for books written where the narrator is talking to the reader (like hundred thousand kingdoms by n.k. jemisin!!!)
aphroditereads I just read eight perfect murders by Peter Swanson because Kayla from BooksandLala recommended it and it falls in this category! It’s a thriller which is usually a genre I don’t gravitate towards but I enjoyed it a lot.
The Good Neighbor by Therese Anne Fowler
Please PLEASE read the princess chronicles by Tarrah Montgomery. They are the best book and haven’t really been noticed but the are AMAAAZING. Btw my favorites are princess and the pesky pea, and I’m not Cinderella, but they are all amazing ✨✨
Thanks for some great books to put on my TBR list!
Agree Nevermoor is wonderful series to read🙂
Hey Regan! You should read Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro!! Its really really good!
I also started working from home last Tuesday. Before the community quarantine was implemented in my city in the Philippines, I bought The Toll so I'm rereading from book 1 before I read it.
Here's another great book that I'm currently reading and my interview with the author: ua-cam.com/video/WbBDvbWbuwI/v-deo.html
I hope you and Clay are staying safe 💕
Love this video! I just posted my video of favorite books for the quarantine!! I would love if you checked it out!

Currently on book 2 of Stormlight!
Stay safe and thank you for this video. ❤️
Ooh I want to read Red Notice!! Love Russian things!! 😍
All of us are watching book recs videos during confinment as if we didn’t all have 100+ tbrs
I'm currently reading The Way of Kings! I'm going to read the second immediately after but then wait and read the third one closer to the release!
Thanks for the recommendations! I definitely agree with you about how great the Stormlight Archives series is -- the three books out now could get someone through perhaps a week of this! My daughter lives in NYC too -- stay safe and healthy!
I should probably read some of my ridiculously long Goodreads list rather than looking up more recommendations but here I am...
My brand new novel Daisy Chains is out on kindle
Kayleigh Finlayson
I like you continue sharing positivity and hope you'll get through your anxiety 😇
Me - has a bunch of books next to me to read
Also me - watching videos about reading instead of actually doing it
You should totally look up Pages and Co: Tilly and the Bookwanderers by Anna James - if you like Nevermoor, you'd definitely like it!
On an random note...finish this quote
No mourners...
Can you do a video on very emotional books? Such as books that will make you cry (happy or sad tears) I love my fantasy books but I do want to experience more heartaches that a book can bring you. I know turtles all the way down by john green is one.
Hi me and my wife are big readers, we will be commenting on your videos, hope we can share our thoughts about books. The books in this video you recommend are very interesting.
