i love how even when you’re talking about romance they are almost all fantasy!! ❤️ we know your heart lies with fantasy hahaha. mine mostly does too but sometimes i’ll read a contemporary romance too
I never really see Finnikin of the Rock mentioned by any booktubers I check out, so I'm thrilled that you talked about it! It's probably my favorite YA fantasy series, and now I'm confident I'll probably love your other book recs!
Love this! I am not big on reading a lot of romance specific books, but I love a good romance in a Fantasy book. Wicked Fox is one that I have been wanting to pick up for sure. I picked up a Curse so Dark and Lonely and need to finally read it!
The romance in spinning silver and the mirror visitor quartet are exactly my type of romance and I wish I can find more books that are similar. Adding finnikin of the rock to my tbr because it sounds promising and I’m already planning to read the starless sea
A curse of dark and lonely is one of the best I have read. I'm a slow read but that book I read in a week. Love it and I can't wait until I read the second one. And The Starless sea is on my list to get I just haven't yet but I cant wait. Love the video love the sweater by the way. Thanks for the video
45 seconds in and I felt seen! I LOVE romance in books but I cannot for the life of me get behind contemporary romance novels. If they had the same premise but set in 1750 I'd like it 400x better haha!
Favorite romance books: Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becki Albertalli, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandya Mehnon, anything by Marissa Meyer, Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst, Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Can you read "This is how you lose a time war"? its also a romance but soooooo different and difficult to explain. I would love to hear your opinion on it. Short read but I'm curious how you'd rate it.
I absolutely loved (not only) the romance in the Winternight Trilogy. To be honest, I was so in love with Morozko, I felt like a sixteen year old fangirl.:D
Finnikin of the Rock is a good book but MAN the next two books are on a whole other level. All of the relationships explored in those 2 books are so gut wrenching and heart breaking but also so beautiful at the same time 😭
I recently read Eleanor and Park and I would rate that as my fav romance novel. Put off reading it for ages because of the hype, but I really enjoyed it!
hey! have you read Howls Moving Castle? Its very different from the movie but the romance and the fantasy setting are both amazing! I can not recommend it enough if you havent read this classic. Howl is just ridiculous and you would LOVE him
Loved this video! Out of all these books I'm gonna read A Curse So Dark And Lonely and The Starless Sea ✨ Thank you for your recommendations, I love your channel ❤️
I like that the first thing i thought was that i love your sweater. And the whole comments section. Is everybody freaking out about how amazing that sweater is lol
The Timekeeper trilogy by Tara Sim has my favourite book romance of all time. It's a YA alternate history steampunk fantasy m/m romance set in a world where time is controlled by magic clock towers. The main character is a clock mechanic who falls in love with a time spirit.
I actually ended up not liking A Curse So Dark & Lonely. I thought it started really strong, was super into it, then I don't know. I also didn't like how it ended. I don't know, I just ended up super disappointed with this book.
Thank u for the recommendations!! Def going to check these out (already read white hot kiss and loved it!) Have u ever read Cynthia Hand's Unearthly series? I looove the romance story in it and the whole story in general (is YA paranormal!)
What about the novels by John Green like 'The Fault in our stars' and 'Looking for Alaska'? They are pretty good! Share your opinion in the comments section.
I'm sort of conflicted because with many books i agree with your opinion but i really did not like finnikin of the rock when i read it last summer, so much so that i barely pushed through it and at some parts was just skimming and not paying all that much attention. That being said, it could very well be that i just read it at the wrong time/with the wrong mindset so i will definitely at some point try reading a detailed summary of the first book and continue on with the second one, since i already own the entire trilogy anyway :P In retrospect i can even appreciate the story, at least what i can remember from it so i can't even really say why i disliked it so much. Maybe it was the writing style, idk... 😅
Soooooo... I finished The Dark Elements Trilogy &&&&& lol omg okay thank you for introducing me to this author & this series! lol omg... you know... your brain says Zayne, but your heart just spews Roth lol alsoooo now starting The Lumatere Chronicles & I’m eager to find out what happened to the Kingdom!!!
My favorite romance is a Chinese novel titled When A Snail Falls In Love by the author Ding Mo. It opened my eyes to the genres action/psychological/mystery/romance combos AND IT WAS SOOO GOOD! Unfortunately though, it's not really physically available, because, China. I found it in the reading app called Webnovel. Worth the pain of reading online. I really wish the author would find a publisher which could bring it internationally available. Please give it a try!
1. 'Simon vs the Homosapiens Agenda' by Becky Albertalli. A very cute YA romance with a great ending. 2. 'God of Vengeance' by Sholem Asch. This one is a Yiddish play from 1907 about a girl who falls in love with one of the sex workers who works for her father. It's absolutely beautiful, as well as completely revolutionary for the time it was written in. There another play, 'Indecent' by Paula Vogel, about the history surrounding it that I would recommend too. 3. 'Much Ado About Nothing' by William Shakespeare. I mean this one's just a classic of sparkling wit and an absolutely wonderful central romance. 4. 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo' by Taylor Jenkins Reid (and I have to thank you for introducing me to this one). The romance at the center is equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking. I never tire of it and I've read it about three times now.
Hmm....this definitely keeps me inspired to keep writing. I do not have a book out yet, but it's coming. But you might dig this. It's a sensual poetry series based on the book of poems I am currently completing. See episode one here : vimeo.com/391644267 peace be unto you!
I'm not sure but ,if anyone else is searching for romance books 2019 try Trentvorty Ingame World Theorem (do a search on google )? It is a good one off guide for learning what men really want minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got cool success with it.

Veronika Zatřepálková exactly how I feel about him too. Swooning over here. Lol.
Sara Frie Yes! The scene by the river in the second book? Oh my, made my heart race
Finnikin of the Rock is a good book but MAN the next two books are on a whole other level. All of the relationships explored in those 2 books are so gut wrenching and heart breaking but also so beautiful at the same time 😭
Off topic but your sweater is so beautiful 😍😍

Yes, White Hot Kiss is my guilty pleasure!! 😁
I really didn’t like uprooted by Naomi novik. Do you think it’s worth it to try spinning silver? Is it similar at all?
I love your sweater!!!!
You should definitely read the lux series and the covenant series by Jennifer I Armentrout!!
I like that the first thing i thought was that i love your sweater. And the whole comments section. Is everybody freaking out about how amazing that sweater is lol

Are you interested in reading The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood? Its a new fantasy release and I just started reading it. So far so good!
The Timekeeper trilogy by Tara Sim has my favourite book romance of all time. It's a YA alternate history steampunk fantasy m/m romance set in a world where time is controlled by magic clock towers. The main character is a clock mechanic who falls in love with a time spirit.
I’ve been wanting to read some good fantasy/fairytale stories, thank you this helps!

This is contemporary romance, but the flatshare by beth o leary was soooo good

The Infernal Devices = Romance
My favorite romance is a Chinese novel titled When A Snail Falls In Love by the author Ding Mo. It opened my eyes to the genres action/psychological/mystery/romance combos AND IT WAS SOOO GOOD! Romance is my favourite genre EVER!!! A series with AMAZING romance is The All Souls series by Deborah Harkness!!! The main characters are just
I found the characters in that book very euro trash snoby with all the red wine and all the Enlightenment age philosophers. Ugh.
I love Letters To The Lost by Brigid Kemmerer!!! 💕💖💕

Omg I thought I was the only who gets out of a book slump by reading or rereading something by Jennifer L.Armentrout.
