The Bitter Twins was my favorite of the 3! Hopefully you love it! My priority read for October is The Dollmakers by Lynn Buchanan!
Early 😄 looking forward to books to add to the tbr!!
I have finished all the physical books I own, other than 2 preorders I acquired recently, so other than some preorders that come out in October, my focus now is knocking out my Kindle TBR. The physical preorders that come out in Oct are: You Can Have My Back vol 3, Stars of Chaos vol 4, and Peerless vol 1. My other 2 physical reads will be Ballad of Sword & Wine vol 2, Bringer of Dust (carryover from Sept). Other than that, I hope to finish Religion in Daily Life in Japan, and read SOS Hotel: Luxery to Die For, and at least start the Soulbound series.
I think you are who I want to be when I grow up (I'm 27 😂) but for real reading every book I own is my literal dream!!!

Congratulations! I have so many books on my physical TBR, but part of it is because I thrift books I want to get to, so I have to get them whenever they pop up.
@@maria5988 lol thanks, it took me a while, as I acquired books faster than I could read them, but I finally learned to restrain myself, other than preorders that I wanted. Once I finish my Kindle TBR I plan on doing a decent book haul.

Darker By Four by June C.L. Tan (author of Jade Fire Gold, which you put on your radar for 2021 releases) is such a perfect fall book!!! it has elements of the chinese underworld and magic related to death which is just so fitting for spooky season hahahaha. it was released in April and it was so so GOOD!!! loved it so much (especially our main characters)
Francis Hardinge is a fabulous fall read especially with the Lie Tree and Cuckoo Song. Please look her up.
I just started the ninth rain by Jen Williams. And I am finishing close to death by Anthony Horowitz. I read the year on the witching this summer. I picked it up after I heard you talk about it and it reminder me of a book I read and loved called slewfoot by Brom. So if ever you want to add a fall read add this one. It has the same vibe as the year of the witching.
I loved Weyward , this book is one of my new favorites along with The Unmaking of June Farrow.
