Indeed it was 😀👍👍 and my hometown of Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦🍁 was a hotbed in the music scene for years in the 80's and 90's and also the early 2000's with so many bands recording their Albums here at Little Mountain Sound Studio 🎙️ not to mention the local music scene was amazing with so many places to play. But unfortunately hard to find now. There's a few places, but not many now...
That guy could peel paint off the wall with his voice . I saw him back up Ted Nugent many many years ago and they were awesome. And this song is like the supreme power ballad of the 80's 😊😊😊
@@chriskroll4166 I've seen them here a couple times in there Hayday. And a couple times in this venue of late. And you can definitely tell it's tuned down a bit, but not as much as you would think. He still belts it out pretty good for someone who is 59 soon to be 60. Pretty darn good if you ask me, especially compared to others now a days. ( Name's to be named nameless lol )...

I will tell you that I have seen most of those 80's and 90's singers live in concert and the best one I ever saw was Ray Gillan of Badlands . I don't think anybody even came close. He had such a no-nonsense approach to his performance because his voice said it all and he didn't really have to do much anything else.

Someone years ago told me that she committed suicide. I didn't know her death was caused by a drunk driver. So sad. I had lost 5 friends due to drunk drivers.

And over 90% of them still fit me lol. My two pride and joy ones are my 1981 Van Halen T Shirt and my 1984 Van Halen baseball T Shirt. The reactions I get wearing those is amazing. And I have never worn ones of them as well. Have a few old Rolling stones ones as well. I was wearing my Mötley Crüe Girls Girls Girls original T Shirt from 1987 and I had a guy offer me $500 for it lol. I always get offers for my original concert shirts. I was offered $200 for my Cult one as well when I saw them last year.
He gets an A for effort here and understanding he lost most of the upper/higher register/tone of his voice after throat/vocal chords issues... He is NOWHERE near the golden octave singer he was, that is 100% for sure and noticeable here... Listen to his time in Vinnie Vincent and the first 2 albums with Slaughter...
Oh that vocal range on the first Vinnie Vincent Album was KILLER and of course the first two Slaughter Albums were amazing as well. Unfortunately father time catches up to some people. Tom Keifer from Cinderella had problems for years. I do believe he had surgery done to help him out. He's sounding pretty good these days actually. As for Mark and the way he sang on the Vinnie Vincent Album and the first couple of Slaughter Albums it's hard to keep that up over time. But all things considered it wasn't all that bad in person at the show. The Venue we see these bands at has great sound there. And we try to see everything we can there because of it. He definitely sounded much better in person than he did on my phone/UA-cam post. I'm just glad/happy that we all can still go and see all these bands, and bring back the memories of our youth. It was a great time in music back then, and I'm glad I was apart of it and to see and witness it all in person 😀👍👍 There's only a few that their voice sounds pretty good still. Sammy Hagar and Glenn Hughes are definitely a couple. And to me that's incredible. But all in all I'm just happy that I can still go see these incredible bands still. As to me it was all about the music 😀👍👍

I am not RIPPING Mark, he had some comments in the past about his old style/voice issues as well. I agree, happy to see them as well, just wish, like Tesla, they would/could key it down/tune it down a little to help Mark. I love the 70/80's band we still get to see, but no doubt they're older and they beat the heck out of their voices in the day! Enjoy and rock on!
Why do the drummers that play for bands that were once big ,in there time, always show off there stick handling ability? I just don't get it... It makes the show "chessy" to me. Grab the pocket and play.....
That doesn't bother me what so ever. To me it's all about the entertainment. And really didn't even notice it much during the entire show. He was spot on all night and didn't miss a beat, so to me I don't care. It's just part of the show to me...
