- Some of the closest racing this season between the front running ITS and ITR cars. Pole and second in qualifying were 6/1000 apart, a great indicator for the tight bumper to bumper race: three cars went over the finish line almost simultaneously. Car in front got penalized, so I made it first.
Track was slippery and race lap times therefor mostly in the 1:01s. Shot from BMW 328 Robert Thiele, team Auto Technic using Flip UltraHD.
Enjoy it in HD!
This video makes me love the fact that i own a BMW 328 is ... I cant believe this is my car and that it has this type of performance potential. This is some of the best racing I've seen yet. I love the sound of this 328 its just awesome.
Glad you like it. If you ever have a chance to watch an SCCA Pro IT race in the North East, you will notice that most races are like this - great fun!
Just fantastic!!! I was watching your mirror as much as out the window. That was epic!!!!
That lead BMW was holding everyone up.
Epic battle. Nice driving, very courteous. I probably would've stuck my nose where didn't belong.
this is some of the best racing I have ever seen. these guys are right on each other and they have some awesome little battles. Great video.
Driver of small red car at 17:01 was grabbin some pop corn for that one
Great driving, I'm hoping to get to this level of racing when/if I get my s2000/Camaro
That is the most exciting race I have seen in a long while - Well done!
Awesome vid! Couldnt take my eyes off it. Great racing and congrats on the win! Why did other guy get disqualified? It was iRacing that brought me here, recently signed up and been racing Lime Rock Park so it was really good to see it in real live action. And what action it was. Again, great racing.
Good hard clean racing!! really enjoyed watching.
Excellent video, and thanks for posting!! I'm heading to LR next week and wanted a refresher on lines..this was perfect. Very aware driving!!
Awesome finish. You are very patient.
Lime Rock Park. My favorote track in America and it's my local track :)
You guys have serious stones to go two wide on the first lap in the uphill haha great vid!
Nice! Enjoyed watching. Thanks for uploading
This is seriously an awesome video, to me it looks like the early 90's BTCC! Not much racing as good as that these days but this looks really awesome! I'm competing in GT Academy this year so if I win who knows maybe I'll be right there racing with you guys!
Awesome track, great driving.
Great video and some awesome racing.
AWESOME KEEP THEM COMING!
i had mad fun last year, can't wait till July ;-) they need to put this track in a GT5 update or if there's a GT6.
beautiful
very nice... great driving !!
Awesome racing!
Awesome Video and Great Race!
Good stuff!
good stuff man
That was actually a different issue. We could not finish tuning all RPM ranges prior to the race, SI when I went off the gas I had these issues. We got that ironed out in the Motec for the next race.
I actually race myself and I am always looking for stuff for my car, so if you dont mind me asking, what was that computer that he had attached to the windshield of the car and where could I locate one by chance????
Andrew Silva it's a data logger and GPS lap timer. I am using an older Race-Technology AX22. It is similar to their DL1, but it has a suction cup so you can transfer it easily from one car to another. Today I would probably go for an AIM.
Question: What would be the fastest class that races there WITHOUT the chicane at the top of the hill?
Autotechnic builds a nasty car.
epic run, after all its a BMW track:-))
nice graphix :)
you have good ears - I was on used tires and had some vibrations indeed.
What kind of mods/tires are you running? 1'01" clip is fast for anything less than 300hp.
4 Wide at 19:01 nice!
Great race! Did you have a flat spot?
lol 6:40min !
he gives up his own racing line to much he could be faster
