Going 3 wide like a boss at 8:25 nice. When I raced here times were pretty close to the 57-59 marks but it was before the repave and we did not have the chicane on turn 4, just the steep uphill into the hard downhill right.
Always love to watch you drive, you nake it look so easy, I am trying to drive the same in iRacing now with the Skip Barber car. Always feels like I'm driving on ice!!
WHEW! Scott, I was hungry as hell but couldn't move from the pc watching your amazing run. You ARE DA MAN!! Your set up was clearly better than the backmarkers, they got squirrely when you pressured them, then the front runners, your just drove faster than them, you outbraked every one, I saw you downshift sooner than normal after the main straight and the engine noise startled the guy you were passing. We do that also in motocross. Just a brilliant drive man, I hope one day to race cars.
I will remember you! You have a life long fan. When you get to the big racing series I will be cheering you on as I am now. You have great skills man, keep it up!
Nice driving Scott Hargrove! I think lap 12 was my favorite. @Spartan168 - You are absolutely right. All it takes is the right line. Scott had it right, most of the others didnt.
Finally. FINALLY. A LRP video of someone that actually knows how to drive and not some skill less megalomaniac with too much disposable income on their hands. Nice ride. Takes me back.
Great job. What are the two gizmos on the "dash" that are cabled together? Is that where the telemetry is coming from or is it from a smarty cam? Lime Rock is the one Skippy track I have left to do. Thanks for the letting me go to school with your video.
I have been racing in FF and CF for over 30 years, but sadly have never driven a winged car. A 2 liter is my goal, but I am not getting any younger. How many years ago was this race Scott?
not to criticize your driving, because there is no doubt that you have skill, but it just seems like if you take the right racing line through the turns you'll catch everyone in front of you, doesnt seem like there is much competition
Skip Barber is, really, a training series. There are multiple races during the weekend events. That being said, standing starts aren't the best way to conserve cars and keep costs down. Rolling starts are safer too.
I agree regarding ice/racing, but I don't play console "sims". rf2 has G27 issues and they're not being addressed, so it's a POS that I don't think ISI or the modders can fix.
The physics is terrible in rf2, what killed it for me was racing the F1 the car had literally no downforce. Once you got fast enough you start losing control of the car, Just like the skippy.
Awesome, you tried iRacing? Lol
Great driving! Looks like an amazing experience
8:20- damn that was nice
Konstantin Otrembsky Yeah... 3 wide no problems. That was some awesome driving.

Nice racing. I took the Skip Barber course here in California. Learned how to race correctly. Takes lots of practice to get it right.
This is heikki? asd
Los hermanos F1 voladores ni Jeidi arriesga tanto en iRacing
Jajajaja vine a los comentarios a ver si había algo referido a Heikki
0:34 Off Track (x1)
lolol
XD

I can't believe it's been 7+ years. Wow. Fantastic video.
Pass on the outside at @ 1:30 was impressive, as was 8:20. Good carry through chicane and final turn. Enjoyed it, thanks for posting!

Scott YOU ROCK!! I watched the whole race. I hope to take the 3 day class in 2015. I took the AMG Academy last year and had a blast.
I will remember you! You have a life long fan. When you get to the big racing series I will be cheering you on as I am now. You have great skills man, keep it up!
impressive driving, very consistent and fast/smooth; well done
Nice line through the chicane. Loved that two for pass on the straight near the end.
3 wide into turn 1 takes guts. great job man!
Love the double-jump at 8:21. Nice driving.
Nice driving mate. Chances are, I built that chassis. Glad we served you well.
how neat.
Beautyful driving Mate!🚗🚀
@scotthargroveracing YOU ARE A BOSS.
I liked the let off to give space for the run down the strait...nice!
Nice driving Scott Hargrove! I think lap 12 was my favorite.
@Spartan168 - You are absolutely right. All it takes is the right line. Scott had it right, most of the others didnt.
That was some impressive driving, especially off the last turn (number 7?) you carried so much mo down the straight.
Simply amazing drive through the field.
Finally. FINALLY. A LRP video of someone that actually knows how to drive and not some skill less megalomaniac with too much disposable income on their hands. Nice ride. Takes me back.
amazing driving ! Looks so much fun =)
great race
skippys are tight
V7 tyres are so damn real... )
Nice Drive. Very Smooth
Thanks for sharing!
Smooth, fast driving. I love it.
great overtaking!
Nice racing, you gained quite a bit of speed in the last corner at every lap
Good driving - Well done!
Nice Race !
Nice driving
Very good race
rFactor2 brought me here. Thanks to it I never would have seen this vid :)
Great drive !
My man just passing people around the outside like it's a video game.
superb driving
damn consecutively under a minute
Nice Driving!
WOW, awesome overtake thru the chicane, but that's real life for you, too bad rf2's skippy is such a mess.
8:18 wow i thought you were just going to tuck behind the outside car, you made an aggressive move there!
Great job. What are the two gizmos on the "dash" that are cabled together? Is that where the telemetry is coming from or is it from a smarty cam? Lime Rock is the one Skippy track I have left to do. Thanks for the letting me go to school with your video.
Awesome.. I came here thinking it was images from a game.
Good work- I was flagging that race.
Screaming in the last corner on the last lap 110 plus that is quick.
Oh sorry should always read the description before commenting :) nice driving!
Wow iRacing has some sick graphics now.
If I didn't know better, I would have thought that was Me driving. ;-) Really good job!
that was amazing
With the latest builds, rf2 is the best sim IMO, that said, AC could easily knock it over.
I lust for AC....
8:15 - 8:25.... brilliant driving :)
RIP Skip Barber 😢
0:34 1x
Guessing it didn't end too well then..! Where did you finish?
The car doesn't auto blip on downshifts, does it?
I've driven these cars. Do you short shift to 5th before turn in on the downhill or carry fourth through the turn and upshift at track out?
how do you get the chance to drive one of these?
You were so much faster!
I have been racing in FF and CF for over 30 years, but sadly have never driven a winged car. A 2 liter is my goal, but I am not getting any younger. How many years ago was this race Scott?
how do i get started!?
You just toyed them!
how much would a season in one of these cost?
That’s my great uncle
What kind of race cars are these?
It’s just like the simulations
not to criticize your driving, because there is no doubt that you have skill, but it just seems like if you take the right racing line through the turns you'll catch everyone in front of you, doesnt seem like there is much competition
Ahora que salgo de rookie en IRacing, voy a pegar más vueltas en Lime que un puto ventilador.
why did you start so back when you had so much better pace than the people in front of you?
What your time was?
what is it with yanks and rolling starts
Skip Barber is, really, a training series. There are multiple races during the weekend events. That being said, standing starts aren't the best way to conserve cars and keep costs down. Rolling starts are safer too.
Maybe the fact that they're like 5 billion times safer has something to do with it.
Just like in the simulations
I agree regarding ice/racing, but I don't play console "sims".

what kind of cars are these?
skip barber
likely Formula Fords. only 150 hp but weighing 1000 lbs its like an AMG with 600 hp, they are faster than you think.
so thats where i was loosing time:)
no... i good driver just makes it look easy... ;)
Seems like he is playing on easy mode.
This confirms iRacing's quality for me cuz this car's a bitch to drive in the game and it looks like a bitch to drive in this video too
The physics is terrible in rf2, what killed it for me was racing the F1 the car had literally no downforce. Once you got fast enough you start losing control of the car, Just like the skippy.
you need to turn up antialiasing
you look like the only one talented on this league :D
Textbook in my opinion.
Slippery car easy to spin off.
Far from it
No they are not too easy, need driving lessons for these if not very professional.
rf2=dogshit.
It's so bad, I don't think even the best modders can save it.
how do you get the chance to drive one of these?
That’s my great uncle
