Those strategies looks amazing on paper and the win rate is for sure above 80% but for $1 at risk we make 13 cents (best case scenario) but you only need one outlier move to wipe all the previous profits or even blow up. UA-cam is entertainment and you're very good in the entertainment business!

Sure you make the $1200 80% of the time, but lets talk about the 20% of the time you lose $8800. So you really have to have some conviction about your underlying trade proposition here.
@@maxcorder2211 Which will knock you out of all possibilities of reversion (which is why no intelligent trader uses stops on options.) If you want less risk, use narrower wings/smaller underlyings. If you think that your stops give you a better chance of profit, you don't understand options, statistics, or trading.
@SMB Capital, would this also be applicable to the 0DTE strategies mentioned in the last 6 months or so? I assume re-deploying the capital several times a day(potentially) would be risky in itself. Would it be advisable to plan for '50% for the day, then redeploy the next day'?

There is nothing new about selling put credit spreads, can you come up with a unique option strategy instead ? Besides very dangerous to sell put credit spreads or cash secured puts at all time record highs in the market, keeping in mind what happened on black Monday in 1987, which I remember well. The S&P 500 can EASILY sell off 25% or more within a single trading session.

Why would you let the trade get that bad? Just close the trade when you're taking losses and move on

No, you close that trade using a stop loss of 100% of the credit. I use the exact strategy he’s describing.
