Very Very Informative video. The pase of the video is slow which is really helpful to understand and grasp things. I had done my sleep study and wasn't able to figure out the report. Though doctors said i do have OSA and CPAP is the solution. After seeing this video i was able to understand certain lifestyle which am following could be the cause and also able to read my report as you explained about the position type, and type of Apnea in so detail. Thank you very much.
Another treatment modality that isn't mentioned here is oral appliance therapy (which has been successfully used much longer than hypoglossal nerve stimulation)
I think is mentioned in the video however do not show one as image. however. the oral appliance is good for "Mild to Moderate" the AHI scale None/Minimal: AHI < 5 per hour. Mild: AHI ≥ 5, but < 15 per hour. Moderate: AHI ≥ 15, but < 30 per hour. Severe: AHI ≥ 30 per hour.
Many thanks for this useful video, there is one more treatment modality that may be used (when appropriate), which is orthognathic surgery. Thanks again.
