Keo, the Mirialan pilot, is (to my knowledge) the first non-binary _Star Wars_ character onscreen. Keo is referred to with they/them pronouns in both their Databank entry and in-game dialogue: “When Keo has a hunch, they’re usually right.” Keo was also played by Bex Taylor Klaus, who is non-binary. Another non-binary character appeared in the _Aftermath_ trilogy - Eleodie Maracavanya, using zhe/zher pronouns.

TIEs are always at a disadvantage. Made cheaply and mass produced. Its like comparing a Honda to a hot rod or a drag racer. The Rebel ships were always made better and for higher performance. To be good with the Empire, employ swarm strategy or else you get picked off by everything because TIEs are paper thin death balls with wings.
Personally having a reaper in the squad with the shield powerup as well as utilising your superior speed by boosting power to engines (holding c not the power management, this lets you sacrifice ammo to immediately have a full boost bar even if your speed power meter is at minimum) has made my mates and I a power house, not losing as imperial for the last few days I'd also recommend prioritising A-wings, then y-wings, then u-wings then x-wings and calling them out (or at least your reaper calls it out) and swarming them in that order to deny rebel advantages. I say this because A-wings left unchecked can get behind you and kill you before you receive a shield buff (and shred reapers), y-wings have the highest health of any combat ship and can easily shred from a distance while taking some serious punishment, u-wings can heal allies but other than that aren't too bad other than their high health and shield (highest overall) and then the x-wing is a jack of all trades, case by case if it actually does any damage or is just an easy target, generally 2-3 ties or even 1 with shields destroys them
I love how they take their audience seriously and just expect you to know some stuff, and if you don't know all the details, it's not the end of the world.

Pretty clever to have a non-binary person voice a non-binary character.
And zhe was a pirate captain who stole a Super Star Destroyer, which is such a cool idea.
Special Operations imperial helmet does not look like Inferno Squad one. Except for the fact it has red accents, but still nowhere near of those from Inferno. Actually it's Elite Security helmet is way closer to Inferno Squad ;)
Yessss I’ve been waiting for this
Chewie won with a weak sabaac piece because his opponent knows to "let the Wookie win."
Very comprehensive, nice work!
With the rookie voice the character will say sometimes at the beginning of a match “I am really craving a wronto rap right now.” A reference to galaxys edge where you can buy and eat a wronto rap
Man I love those new TIE pilot helmets. I'm seeing some Death Trooper inspiration in a few of them.
Also see a bit of episode 3 clone pilot in them too
Shen talks about the Ja-Bess incursion mentioned in Battlefront II
Shen: I really hate Rebels they crippled me and now I can barely speak.
Sol: Did you ever hear the Tragedy of The Imperial Senate?
I don’t want any spoilers but I can’t stop watching
Isn't the station at 4:30 an XQ platform? It's got that same three-pronged style, with the hexagonal middle.
You truly are a star wars professor! Nice video!
EVERYBODY LOVES GONKS
Squadrons is really shaping to be a love letter to fans- just wish TIEs got a buff in multiplayer, or I’m really gonna get good at them 😅
TIEs are always at a disadvantage. Made cheaply and mass produced. Its like comparing a Honda to a hot rod or a drag racer. The Rebel ships were always made better and for higher performance. To be good with the Empire, employ swarm strategy or else you get picked off by everything because TIEs are paper thin death balls with wings.
Personally having a reaper in the squad with the shield powerup as well as utilising your superior speed by boosting power to engines (holding c not the power management, this lets you sacrifice ammo to immediately have a full boost bar even if your speed power meter is at minimum) has made my mates and I a power house, not losing as imperial for the last few days
I'd also recommend prioritising A-wings, then y-wings, then u-wings then x-wings and calling them out (or at least your reaper calls it out) and swarming them in that order to deny rebel advantages. I say this because A-wings left unchecked can get behind you and kill you before you receive a shield buff (and shred reapers), y-wings have the highest health of any combat ship and can easily shred from a distance while taking some serious punishment, u-wings can heal allies but other than that aren't too bad other than their high health and shield (highest overall) and then the x-wing is a jack of all trades, case by case if it actually does any damage or is just an easy target, generally 2-3 ties or even 1 with shields destroys them
I hear that TIE bombers are at the top of the tier list due to damage and armor.
I love how they take their audience seriously and just expect you to know some stuff, and if you don't know all the details, it's not the end of the world.
Take a shot every time he said Star Wars Rebels. Finish your drink every time skystrike academy is mentioned. Waterfall your drink every time he says Sabine Wren. I’m guessing the team at Motive liked that episode.
the guy who plays Titan Leader is also the guy who voiced the vice admiral who helped end the cloning program (btw I used to play "Squadrons" before I got so stuck at one of the levels before uninstalling it out of frustration)
Admiral Rampart
@@244ballsyep (sorry for the late response) and his name's Noshir Dalal (according to IMDB, he was born in NYC to a Parsi dad and a mom from Japan, and if you don't know who Parsi people are, they're ethnic Persians who fled to India when the Arabs conquered what is modern-day Iran thousands of years ago, they're the ethnic group that Farrokh "Freddie Mercury" Bulsara of "Queen" belongs to)
Sucks we won't get a damn DLC, involving the battle of Jakku or transitioning into the first order.
I mean- if we got the battle of Jakku, would we be working with the last imperial member of Inferno Squadron? I honestly don't think there's much to do with the battle of jakku since we already played through it
@@asavvysoundwave3456 Not the space battle. Most of the Jakku stuff in BF2 was ground combat.
We never saw the StarHawk rip the Ravager from the sky...
I’m glad that isn’t the case. I want all Star Wars material from here on out as far away from the sequel trilogy as possible. That way, I can still have the new stuff be my headcanon even if I headcanon things like legends Luke, Mara Jade, and the like. To me, the sequels never happened in canon
Is their not going to be any dlc at all? not even major updates? cos i would've loved them to add B-wings and TIE/D
@@terrorloc100 i'd settle for 'era skins' ; go clone wars headhunter Xwing skins, and Classic Republic (full body) Ywing skins, aethersprite A wing skins and so on.
The Phoenix emblem isn't from Rebels, it's from Rogue One, on one of the pilot helmets. The lore behind it does state it was designed by Sabine though IIRC.
There was a Loth Cat in the Mandalorian episode where he meets Cara Dune
There were also Loth Cats just everywhere in rebels
Naiky Bird True but it sounded like he meant in terms of live action appearances
It’s Loth Rat that he’s talking about.
Who else finished Star Wars resistance just cause it's STAR WARS
I did I don't regret nothing
@@dr.robotnick1888 yeah, it remenber me Naruto a little
How is it really? I watched Rebels and liked it.
I only managed to watch 6 episodes of the first season. It was too boring imo. Does it get any better?
@PurpleOwlAnimation okay I'll give it a shot. I usually stay away from sequel stuff but I'll give it a shot because of you
Hera has alot of power i love it
Is there a reason why the Rebel flaghsip is a MC75 instead of a MC80 like the ones seen in Return of the Jedi? They should be more advanced, right?
>No Secret Order of the Empire cosmetic or any explicitly referencing the TIE Fighter game
You had ONE JOB!
I'm sure Sith Eternal is now Secret Order
If I remember correctly, Then Lieutenant Kerrill was assigned to the Meram sector and the imperial pilot you play as was assigned to the outer rim
I'm not sure what you mean about the Alphabet Squadron emblem not being the same. As far as I can tell, its the same as every picture I can find for their emblem online, including the patch that was included as a pre order offer for the book, save for it not being enclosed in a circle. Unless I'm missing something here?
oh man, i needed this vid
Man those new Imperial helmet designs look so cool to me
Mistral squad is a callback to the group “The Mistral”, mentioned in the Thrawn Duology
Helmets like the Obsidian Reaper borrow their geometry from the helmets worn by Clone Pilots seen in Episode III, in the same way that regular TIE Pilot helmets borrow geometry from the Rebel X-wing Pilots.
