I've had these for about 6 months now and I love them! However I only find myself wearing them when I go out specifically for a ride, not when I need different shoes at my destination.
i bought a pair of the Fastlanes last year Size 13. For comfort thier great. But the sole is terrible for grip. Especially if you get in roads with gravel, sand or loose asphalt. Just dropped my bike last week because my foot slipped in some sand on the road.I'm tossing them in the trash and will be back to my Sidi Dohas
Thanks for the great review. I have heard other complaints from purchasers who rated them online after an accident. Two wished they would have had better quality boots when they crashed. In both cases, they had broken ankles. Not sure any boot can protect from that. Still, is this a concern for you? [I bought these shoes and found them way too narrow. Very uncomfortable, though it may mean buying one size larger. Great looking but hard to get on as well. Not recommended.]
Might as well wear an old pair of Jordans, go down this shit will not help and you will wish you had on real boots that go up to your knee, I been riding for years and what is so special about Alpine star but the hight price shit they sell but good review...
I'm now wondering of buying some. I will not use them as much to riding.. Like, I will use them for that too. But also for just going to the store a quick trip. Cause like you said, you can use them all day long. And I'm abit paranoid about my shoes, I like that they protect me alittle. and.. in stores people ALWAYS run into me from behind with a cart. But with these shoes I can turn around and flip the shit without hurting :)
I got the same boots a few weeks ago they are very nice and you can wear them around during the day without looking like a power ranger they aren't the safest but still a good option to protect your ankle, on a side note its a good idea to get these 1 size larger than what you are used to as they tend to be a little tight.
Yeah, I was thinking of getting them from Revzilla. But the guy gave me an ok deal, and I'm probably just going to keep the MX 1's. The pants on the other hand, I'm not so sure about. The knee pads slip between my legs, so it makes gripping the tank harder. Has that happened to you?
I went looking for the Fastlanes but CycleGear didn't have them. I ended up getting the S-MX 1's. So far they're taking some getting used to. I would have liked to try the fastlanes, but the MX 1's are ok so far.
How well do you think these would do if one went down on the street with them? Is it recommended to get a race style boot that comes up over the calf for max protection?
I don't think there is enough protection to call these motocycle boots. They are more like comfort slippers which in a crash may smash your toes and foot bones to bits.
would u be fucked if you crashed on a dual carriageway with these one?
I like those because they look like just some normal cool shoes, great camera focus on that camera !
I've had these for about 6 months now and I love them! However I only find myself wearing them when I go out specifically for a ride, not when I need different shoes at my destination.
Nice review. I have the blacktops, and I really like them. I have big feet, and they're pretty comfortable.
I have these, so awesome for street riding, not long distance touring though!

Excellent boots. I've got the same pair. Perfect for changing gears. One more thing, you published this video on my birthday. Wooo hooo ! 😁
How does it feel on your toe during the upshift? My shift lever is metal and I need to have a good pad on the toe to hit the shifter.

ive been looking for boots that are both waterproof and breathable. i dont think these are waterproof(?)

Too anyone giving you bad comments..you wear your gear..respect from me good sir!
3:50 as your saying "feedback" you knock it into neutral haha that made me laugh, im thinking about getting these boots, great review
I prefer the higher boots that protect my ankles a little bit more. But they look really nice, and for 120 dollar..Can't go wrong !
Will I look dumb if I wear these with my leather one piece, or do they fit well with a suit?
Street Riding for sure..... not for long distance. jump on and off cool boot... but again not for a serious run.
also, A* should pay for your shoes. this is incredible advertisement!
excellent review! I'm glad you found something that works for you.
oh, lol, I did not mean that. I meant it as a compliment that the camera motion looked smooth and focused.
Glad you found some boots that you like. I have the Fastback WP and don't have any issues with them.
Could you help me make a decision on these boots or Dainese Dyno pro cqb
I like the camera work in the beginning. It looks so good, like an advertisement. Good job!
What camera did you use for the first portion of the video?
Are those the original headlights of your bike because they light up the road really well.
people in atlanta metro cycles got the alpine star boots and jackets for 50% off
excellent review mate, really helped me decide on these boots.
do you need your correct size or do you need to go half a size bigger?
seems the man knows a thing or two about camera's! Pat on the back :P
You know what they say about men with big feet?
How is sizing compared to regular shoes (Puma, Nike, Adidas)?
Those don't look like they offer much protection at all...
just ordered mine. cant wait for them to arrive!
Nice sign off as the smokey is clocking you haha
those are not boots, they are shoes
looking good .

those are ankle breakers :P
Those look beautiful.
Crazy to see you riding around the streets I live on 👍🏼👍🏼
what do you think about the boots now that you had them for some time? and have you still got them/ran into any problems?
how do you live without rear vision mirrors?
metalmaster76 he's got a new channel
I have a pair of these also, love em.
