Hi Suzanne, normally I'm a super oily lady, but because I've been on adult acne meds for almost a year now, I'm now dry. I have found that using an emollient moisturizer and a facial oil has helped blend out medium to full coverage foundations wonderfully and doesn't look cakey. You can use a small amount and blend it out. I'd love to see you do a video on color correction for all skin tones for mature skin and recommend some products. ❤

Hate beauty blenders . I actually was debating with Gucci rep so I asked how what other brands do you represent? She said Hourglass I forget what else then Beautyblender lol I told I don’t use one . My hands or my brushes
Hi Ruth, wrinkles are beautiful! Usually for mature skin I only add foundation where I want to hide any discoloration and avoid it elsewhere. Less is more!
Suzanne, I love lipstick but it just doesn’t look right after 60 on me. What am I doing wrong or should I start using glosses instead? What about lip liners? Should I give them up? Thx
Hi Plume! Most of the time, it’s that you haven’t found a lip color that flatters you not that you should totally switch to gloss. I do private sessions if this interests you, and/or if you go to a makeup counter in a store like Nordstroms and get someone who is more mature and understands color, you can find a shade that works for you! And do t give up on lip liners, they keep the lipstick on longer and can make your lips look bigger.
Hi Suzanne, I don’t have a Ben Nye dealer near Little Rock. I’d like to order the foundation but have no idea what color I would need. Also, the link to Ben Nye showed that it’s a matteHD. I’m guessing it’s really not a matte foundation 🤔😋💕
Hi Kim, with Ben Nye you probably have to order online from Naimies.com or another vendor. It does say it’s matte finish but it’s actually pretty Dewey and lovely. They also sell a mixing solution that you can use to make it less coverage, or just mix it with a primer or moisturiser for a similar effect.
Suzanne, I have many dark age spots from sun damage on my face, and I am a light medium warm ( true autumn/ age 70) . I wear a radiant light to medium coverage foundation. The problem I have encountered is that if I choose concealer that matches my skin tone or is slightly lighter, my considerably darker age spots look grayish. I know you said choose a concealer that is the same or slightly lighter than skin tone, but any thoughts on how I might solve this issue in trying to cover age spots and getting a grayish look on them? Thank you for any guidance.
Hi Elizabeth! Great question. Use a concealer with a peach undertone and it will cancel out the grey. So not a rosey or a yellow undertone, and match your skin color. Hope this helps!
I am pale complected and have a large dark age spot on the front of both my cheeks where I also need some blush for color. How can I apply concealer and blush successfully on these spots?
That's a great question! Try a really good concealer (I like Amazing Concealer) and tap it into your age spot until it's gone. I use foundation first and then concealer so that I don't overuse the concealer. Then toss a little powder so it doens't smear the blush, and it should look great!

Totally agree! Beauty blenders are unsanitary and apply product too heavy.
