When PICKING out wheels/rims, always make sure the OFFSET is correct!
Living the dream R/T
I just put some new rims on my
RT AWD Magnum
15 offset 9.5 width 275 40 20 all around
Redeye replicas
I want those rims but I don't know what offset to get the +16 or the -2.5 like you got can you do a video of the car with them on like how far they stick out
Thanks
@@admpos88 -2.5 if you have the widebody
@@demented392rt5 no widebody
Badass wheels for your ride, and love the family shots at the end of the video! Family 1st always!
100% agree - thank you for the support. Always appreciate it!
Love the new shoes! Nice Bud! Cheers! & Hi to the family .
Thank you - def pumped to get these mounted! They should look really awesome - hope all it good on your end.
The little man is loving life!😆😆 Those rims are huge! I'm dying to see the entire finished product.
he is such a happy lil guy hahaa! This is going to be a big time upgrade. I'm pumped - thanks man
Oh HECK yeah!!! Those wheels are gonna looks SICK especially with the new widebody! 😁👍🏼🇺🇸
yah they knocked it out of the park with these wheel/rim designs. The redye has a nice look as well!
Yeah its always good to change things up and keeps em fresh, a new set of rims can do so much and also enhances the stance with the right setup. When I bought my Challenger, it had 22" American racing wheels on it and were way too tall for my taste. So we replaced them recently with 17" racestars, and dropped it considerably. Didn't go very wide in the back and are only 9.5 because I went with semi skinnies up front which are 7s and go perfectly together with the rims for the look I wanted. Which gave it an awesome stance and sort of sleek raked lean going on. Wrapped the back in 305x45 MT streets and also hooks nicely now too. Every little bit does help and shaved off around 68 lbs total between the tires & rims together, so yeah that's another plus and dropped her performance numbers considerably
Thicc tires makes everyone happy
A lot of tire going to be hitting the road now!
Your cinematographe is killing it.
Thank you - def appreciate it!
(Whisper)🗣WIDEBODY👀💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
hahaha - picking up subtle signs!
@@RTLifehey man will a challenger slim body fit those rims perfectly??
I also had those with that offset on the rear, took them off after about a week, they’re made for the widebody fenders.
Ended up getting a second set in the +16 offset and the poke outwards from the fenders is great IMHO. fB marketplaced the first set.
Great car and beautiful family, God bless you!
Love it. Can't wait to see them on the whip 👍🏻💯
Going to be a lot of tire hitting the floor now!
@@RTLife Let's hope for the best🤞
Very nice looking rims
Can't wait to get these on - they're massive!
Finally... Yes Sirrr 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Def need more tire hitting the ground!
@@RTLife Yeah, FR
Great job!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Once they're on, I will make sure highlight it on your website. This was a quick channel update.
Cant wait to see your set up dude. Im looking to go for a wider set on my RT but not sure exactly what i want down to the numbers just yet so seeing your final result could sorta help in my case lol
I just upgraded my wheels and tires.
20x9 with 275/40 on the front
20x10.5 with 305/35 on the rear
I think they have +20 offset
Went with BFGOODRICH G Force Comp 2 A/S Plus. Loving the look and performance. The wheels are Hellcat replicas.
Nice wheels
these are the staggered set voxx i was going to order and go with, except in the bronze color. very nice buy man, gonna look good on the charger
They're awesome - def a nice upgrade in my opinion. Thanks man
It’s always good talkin to you brother crazy how my friend is your neighbor can’t wait to see the charger in its final form
def man - always cool talking about these Mopars. Hopefully your Charger gets fixed up soon & we bump paths at a meet or something.
nice
Big time tires will be coming this year!
@@RTLife hell yea ...
i’ve been wanting to widebody my challenger & been doing a ton of research on wheels and this helped a ton
Nice rims bro. I just swapped my factory rims for a set of NICHE M223 Gloss Black. Lighter and sick as hell on any mopar!!
agreed - they're such nice rims. Im pumped to see these on the RT
Nice wheels brotha congrats 😎✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💯
Thanks man - def pumped about getting these on!
Dope wheels bro 👍👍👍
Thanks man - def like the new design.
Great video can you send me the information where I can purchase a set of those with the offset, thanks
I am a little bit behind on videos and commenting. I get off on tangents easily. Love how you keep mixing it up little by little. Rims are a nice addition.
In the process of buying the Shaker, yes I am, and that took some time. Couple of cruises through the state parks, and some speed, sure gets the juices pumping. I was going to just pay cash for it, then thought it'd be better to save some back for mods etc. So droppin 20K on it to keep a cheap payment and still live an easy life. When it's all said and done, I'll have spent way more than I should have, but whatever. It's only money. I'll make more tomorrow.
there he is! I was wondering where you've been. I'm glad you're hanging onto that Shaker & modding it up slowly. It's a fun process & you'll learn a ton about how each helps/hurts your ride. Makes the hobby that much more fun. Well happy to hear from you
Love the whole look would love to do the matching hood how much did everything total too for ur car so far
I been looking for a set of rim for the Challenger. And I can’t find anything I like . I’m not a fan of the 20” rims . The charger looking good .
What size do you have up on there now?
@@RTLife 20x8.50 I want to see if I can do 17x8 in the front and rears 17x 10 . But I hear mixed things about 17 inches rims on a 2016 challenger
Love those wheels. I just installed the voxx 50th anniversary 20x10.5 on mine. But those hellcat 2 are my fave. Are you doing a widebody conversion for those wheels?
The 10.5 is a lot of rim as well. A lot of tire is touching the ground to get moving. Everything will come together nicely hopefully within the next few days on the R/T
Those are super wide man!...can't wait to see them on the R/T... I've been looking for rims for the 300 I either want all chrome hellcat rims or I seen all chrome drag pak rims...I'm leaning towards the chrome hellcats...now what do I have to look out for so I don't have to run spacers...same specs as the factory I would assume besides the rear being wider which I want.
I've never seen the hellcat rims in chrome - that would be pretty unique. If you end up doing it def tag me on facebook or email me a photo.
@@RTLife Yeah man I found them aftermarket by just doing a google search for chrome hellcat wheels which led me to a company called OE Wheels I figured the chrome would look great because my 300 has alot of chrome on it to begin with I also want to get the BME hornet hood as well and from what I've seen I'm going to have to get a eibach kit or something to get rid of the wheel well gap...been doing some research to make sure everything will go as planned....how do I contact you on Facebook/Instagram I'll get started on that asap!
This is a link my facebook

@@RTLife ok I'll add you...same name as on here but with my mother's maiden name included... thanks brother!
I know this video is older but wouldn’t the tires be a lot heavier on the wider rims? Making the rotating mass about the same
I have those on my car the voxx widebody 20x11 I knew they would be a big hit with everyone I got em a long time ago lol
Nice! You have great taste in wheels - these are awesome
@@RTLife I got Mickey Thompson 305s in the back! Waiting to whipple my RT on 6 psi!
Hey you got 20’11 all around ??
@@Tj5XX no just rear and 20x9.5 front
Yeah man, those are some nice rims!
looks sick!!
Def like the new design of these. Mixing it up a lot this year!
Them seven spoke rims really change the damn look of this beast 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯😁😁😁👌🏾
Good Choice traction should definitely improve and you're gone be stylin and profilin woooooo!!!!! The Bee is looking killer pun intended lol 👍👍
YES you're so close to 100K!!!!!
Slowly climbing! We will hit that mark soon. Thanks man
Going to be Dope !! 🔥
Thank you for helping me through the process man.
@@RTLife no need to thank 👊😈
😲😱😲 this ride looks amazing 👏🏽😍👌🏾
Yessssssss💪🏽🤝
def a nice upgrade! Thanks man
What if you put a sound recorder in the engine bay while you drive. Use start up as clap to sync in post. Would be a crazy post car audio mix you can play over your monolog.
I run 20 by 10.5 an 305 35 20 on my 2010 SRT8 no rubs any where.same negative offset
That's a nice setup - what kind of tires are you running?
@@RTLife nito555g2 .will be going to not drag radels.g2 spinn to mutch
@@larrytaylor1974 yah the G2's are brutal with your power level. Def need a street/strip radial for that SRT
Looks awesome brother! The wider rim will help with the 315s like you said.
yah this should help a ton off the line! We will see.
Nice wheels but 20x11 -2.5 offset bro. Ehhh.... id check the fit before mounting
Thanks man - def going to have a lot of tire hitting the floor. It will come together in a few days
The wheel calculator says this wheel will stick out 2.5 inches more than the stock wheels (20x8 +24) and 1.7 inches more than hellcat wheels if I have the right numbers for those (20x9 +16)
exactly. That's what I need
@@RTLife perfect then
How are these in the winter
Have 20x9 on 275 up front 315 on a 20x11 you’re gonna love the stance on the RT
Nice! That's a really nice setup. Plenty of tire planted on the ground
What was the offset in rear bro? Bc I have 20x11 and offset is 22 do u it will fit ?
And did u put any spacers on there?
@@angelmartiniz6848 3 millimeter spacers just to clear the caliper can’t remember the offset off the top of my head
The OEM's are an alloy wheel. Those after market's are probably all aluminum, thus why they may be lighter weight despite the size difference.
Looks and moves very nice!!
Hola mucho gusto amigo te saludo desde Chile, consulto que offset tiene que tener la llanta de cuerpo ancho para que pueda usar con un charger RT, sin usar espaciador, siempre veo tu canal saludos !
You're definitely gonna like those 20x11 in the rear , I've been running those for over a year and you get good contact with the tire
yah I think this is going to be a nice upgrade - hopefully more tire = better traction!
🔥‼️
Thanks man!
Nice wheels! Gotta get your hand in there and clean inside of those tubs .. on that rim its gonna show 💯
Dude I saw those wheels on a 15+ today and they were 🔥🔥🔥🔥! It’s going to look so good on your Charger.
Every pound of unsprung weight is the equivalent of 12lbs of body weight. Meaning if you can get a tire and wheel combo to weight 12 lbs less it is the equivalent of reducing the cars total weight by 120 lbs. That equates to
.12 faster in a 1/4 mile. If all 4 wheel and tire combos are 12 lbs less that means you will have effectively reduced the cars weight by 480 lbs! That's. 48 tenths faster, or almost a full 1/2 second faster in a 1/4 mile by just losing 48 lbs from your wheels and tires!
Lite weight wheels and tires make a HUGE HUGE difference in performance!
Those wheels are fire
yah def a nice upgrade - can't wait to get them on
LOL Loss of grip at speed causes a little pucker, huh? Had that happen at the start of a roll race in December.
hahaha that thing has so much torque! The ass of it always wants to kick out
My hands are kinda tied with my car, a 2013 Challenger R/T, because the factory wheels are 8" wide, I want to find a matching set of 9" rears and 8" fronts so that I don't have too do spacers. Gonna run 275's rear, 255's front
Looks incredible!
Are u gonna run a staggered set up with a slightly smaller wheel rim and tire in the front?
Going to keep the 275's in the front but you will see the end result in a couple of days!
Voxx rims are really good for the price i been running the demon replicas and they still look new and gives me plenty of grip for my 392
I wish a company would make the wide body style wheels in regular width
Do you have the 20x11s all around? Do they rub when you turn?
Awesome, can’t wait to see them installed. What’s your best 0-60 on the current rims/tires?
The best 0-60 so far has been 3.7 at drag strip & 3.8 on street but that's on my bravros with Mickey T's on them. The hellcat rims with these G2's can't get off the line
@@RTLife dude that's smokin'. It will be cool to see what you can get on the new street setup. Did you mention what tires you're going with?
Wider tires can only mean one thing... the boost is coming!
Big year coming up!
saved my butt off all 2020 for what's about to be happening in the next 2-3 months
And a widebody kit.
he is going to need it it goning to be very slow with those tires and rims
Love those rims!
Hey R/T whats your thoughts on my build as far as gains. List goes on my 17 wk2 5.7 hemi. K&N CAI, BBK 85mm TB performance coils, Performance CAM and Long tube headers Green CATs with Borla Exaust and HP Tuners.
Nice, traction is always welcomed when having a V8. Better be safe than sorry. Stay safe, bud!
100% agree with you on that. These have so much power - need more tire hitting the road! Thanks man
Children. Best gift you will ever receive.
Great Video! Did you ever have any problems with the spacers? Some people have problems
I had heard decent things about the Nitto G2, they didn't work well for you ? I tried to go back, did you ever try the Atturo AZ 850 ? Those worked good, but I'm 100 plus less than you. Trying the Firestone Indy 500 right now, seem decent so far.
wow jokes aside that's a nicely sized rim, vipers are 355's so you're getting up there!
Nice! Where did you get the wheels? I have a 300s I want new wheels and stagger them.
The lighter the better good choice R/T. Life I wonder what the next upgrade is.
Still debating on those Ferrada FR4s with some Nittos. It's just hard putting 4k-5k into wheels lol
I did a cam install recently and was wondering if i should have locked out the vvt instead of limiting it. It make good power but it made peak at 5300 rpm. I recently install A64 manifold with the hellcat throttle body and injectors, however it was not diagnosed after that.
I have 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear on hellcat replicas, DWS -06+ Continental. Fit in my 5.7 RT.
What was the offset for the 275's?
What was the weight difference?
Voxx also makes that wheel in a 20x11 +16
Did you take your springs off ?
Yes - I needed the ride height back
@@RTLife You plan on going coilovers after the new wheel setup ?
once everything is in place, the suspension is likely getting altered again.
I thought you were going to go with 18” for better grip/takeoff. I’ve been debating about going down to 18”. Would there really be much of a difference between 20” vs 18” rims?
I have the 18's already for drag racing - those might need to get upgraded this year though! We will see. You get a little more sidewall, not sure if it's a massive difference.
Do you still have your pedal commander installed? If so have you had any problems with it??? I'm hearing Mopar Fam say they're losing power and won't go past 10mph unless they disconnect the peddle commander.
Does anyone know what color the oem rim is here? Dark hyper or charcoal? Ty
Rt life we need a video on Dodge dealership shutting down Bc of C19.
any article about it?
@@RTLife racer x was talking about it an other UA-camr
I want that hood
I love it - def improved the look a lot!
Could have been wider by about 5 inches
you know, for a little extra tire
How much for your old rims
What size tires did you run for the new rims
THICC BOY
Damn right! A lot of tire going to be hitting the floor now - just need to get better tires at some point now haha
Those are the wheels I wanted but couldn't find them in bronze so I got the Hellcat replicas in bronze. 275/40/20 on 9.5in in front, 305/35/20 on 11in in rear.
What was the offset bro?
And did u use any spacers ?
@Angel Martiniz no
@Angel Martiniz They are Voxx replicas. I believe the front offset is 20 rear is -3
I just put some 20x11 in the rear of my scat pack.
Nice upgrade?
@@RTLife it’s been alright. The roads in my town still have some sand and crap on them. They hook a little better but I got Advan Apex tires not a radial.
Now that’s something I’m exited to see. Same rims as mine, it’ll be interesting to see them on a narrow body charger. Are they gonna stick out too much in the front?
Edit: your gonna throw a widebody on there aren’t you👀
question is it suspicious for an rt to beat a 392
LOL - Always fun having a lower trim that can hang!
@@RTLife So very true 👍🏻
When you know the truth, it's obvious.
Are you going with 20x11 all the way around. And if so are you using spacers in the front ?
I was wondering the same thing.
Are they 22s
20x11
Hey rt life how much for a sponsorship?
What do you mean?
@@RTLife just a small shout out lol I’m gonna start UA-cam and it be so cool for a small shout out :)
I thought the new hellcat wheel was 22s
That would look slick but I'd need low profile tires
You better put that siding up.
hahah I know! So much damn work
*Cries in lowered AWD*
