Found you from the how to read an mri video. Awesome information. Sorry you went so long with your pain but it sounds like your surgery was a success. Going through the "steps" right now myself.
I had a 4 level L2-S1 Fusion in Dec 2021. It's a different animal. Just wanted to say you have done so well. Not like mine unfortunately. I watched 100s and I mean a ton on video's on UA-cam. Good, Bad and Ugly ones. So much variation. But your video's got by me till now. Were you hiding? Happy You are doing so well. You give the appearance of a very interesting and positive young lady. Your ability to walk right away is amazing. That was my main reason for having mine done. That's the one thing that I did not get help with. You are adorable, keep up the good work :)
Lanny- I will have the exact same as you but 1 more L1-S1. what was your recovery where you felt you could get around fairly well on your own? just curious..bob
@@bbulliard I had issues for some time. I was able to get around in a week or two. However, get around was all. No lengthy walks as some claim. But I had a few problems that developed and couldn't get my surgeon to accept what I was describing. After 15 months I saw someone else that did the right testing. I had both screws at the S1 that were very loose and the l5-S1 did not fuse properly. So, one more time and I'll not bore you with that one. I am one year since then. Good, not so good. There was one other issue and it was going to have to wait unfortunately. I will tell you this was very unusual and if it could happen to anyone, it would be me :) By the way, I wish they had gone to the L1.
@@lannybailey4871 Lanny- thank you so much for your really quick response. I really appreciate it. Glad to hear you wish they had gone to L1. again many thanks for your very quick response...bob
That is what they are doing to me in 9 days. Sept. 2, 2022. I have two discs my two bottom lumbar discs being removed and a piece of my bone removed to get to my left side-disc and used with donated bone to replace the discs and then fused together. They are doing the PLIF on me though. Not the TLIF. I would like to know if I can get up my stairs when I get home upon many questions. I work now doing payroll so I sit a lot. I am 46. I hope to recover well and quick of course. I hope to do yoga again one day. I use to run and do yoga. i was hard on my body as well. I hope you are pain free now and doing great! It looks like you are.
I had my period on the day of my steroid injections which failed.. same week i had microdiscatomy.. now this is my day 16. Im wondering about many things.. will my life change a lot ?
How are u feeling now ? I am going through exactly what u went still on waiting list everyday crying in pain 😔I have spondylitis grade 2 and bulging disc L4 L5
Atlee, if you live in New Jersey and you are on Medicaid, you won't be able to find a spine surgeon that will accept Medicaid. I had to buy private insurance to get spinal surgery. Something has to be done about healthcare in the United States. Obamacare is not working.!!!!
Yes, listen to your body What gets me is no one mentions about what possibly is happening to your body I was at work day before We a were told to shelter in, not knowing what the heck would possibly happen now I to am deciding to have the procedure Yes, it's scary but wondering if it be worth it TY for sharing ❤🎉
