I have a Road Glide 3. V&H Slash Cut slip ons, FP4 tuner, S&S Air cleaner. And you wouldn't like it. Black Tons of Chrome. I watch you UA-cam to keep track of what you've done to yours. I have already spent way to much money on mine. But the suspension is way to rough for me. I weigh 150 and wife is 120. I don't want to change the rear shock, but if changing the front helps the ride quality I would do that. I don''t want to spend a bunch of money and find out it didn't help that much. So you seem to like the change in the Suspension Tech front fork change. Is it worth the money? Also I appreciate you videos and you getting back to me. Jim
Hi Jim. Thanks for the comment. Sounds like you’ve done some great upgrades. Suspension does wonders. It takes the harshness of the hits out. With Suspension Technology, they will ask you certain questions about your weight and riding style to set up the suspension just for you. I’m not affiliated with them, just a customer that has become a friend to Mike and the crew since we all work the rally circuit. Hope this helps.
I did have TABS, but I’d been riding with all our guys @thefairingxchange , and they all run Khrome Werks. They sounded amazing so I figured I’d give them a try. Wow. It’s got a great “grumpy growl” without having the higher frequencies as TABS do. Still like TABS, but I’ve gotten to like this sound traveling at 80+ mph for days on end.
Great video I asked you why you switched from TAB’s and you explained the reason. Made since I just picked up a RG3 from war Horse today , do you want to sell those bam’s? Will give you the info later. Thanks.
Wanted to go up to the 4.5’s and something with a little bit of a mellower tone with all the miles I am putting on it with travel. Doesn’t mean I don’t like the BAM sticks, just wanted to tone it down a bit.

Hi Donnie maybe a noob question, but i just want to clarify. I am looking to get new slipon mufflers for my RG3. As you have said in other videos, most sites have not upgraded their product pages for the RG3. What is the rule of thumb when purchasing? Just the 1995 to 2016 touring models with the 1.75" inlets? Thank you for your videos and assistance.
@@donniewieburgMorning Donnie! One more quick question if you don't mind. Do you recommend going with 4" or 4.5" mufflers? Your new ones are 4.5", but your Tab ones were 4".
You TAB BAM sticks on your trike at. The 15000 mile walk around you have some other exhaust on your trike. Why did you switch from the TAB exhaust ? I’m interested in your opinion Donnie. Thanks Allen
Thanks for the comment, Allen. I switched during Sturgis. I wanted a larger diameter muffler and something a bit more mellower for all the long days I put on her. The TABS are great for running around town, but the higher frequency of them got to be a bit harsh when riding for 8-10 hours a day.
