Please make this video: We are 15 people business and we would like to know what your Streaming PC components are used in your setup without making your computer working so hard for all your works ???
They definitely are, since they bring more dynamic to a static shot. Great video, Sean. I love both your and Nick Nimmin's livestreams because our setups are the best!
*To all the dreamers out there, don't ever let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and right people, ANYTHING is possible...*
For those on a budget. Using NDI for cameras over IP fantastic for bringing smart phones in as supplement cameras. Just about all streaming software sports it naively!
this is for high level vlogging aided with multiple cameras with different angle shots. the results is great production. great content and get more views.. content wise, I love to watch Think Media. good job....
I want to say that Aaron has gotten really sophisticated with his filming. Has anyone noticed that he is using multi camera views, switching between himself and Laura! I know he has been doing it for a long time, but it is so professional looking! 😊❤😍
Making me excited for livestreams, the task seemed so daunting but thanks for the equipment review so I could understand the setup and see to get going with Streamyard . . Let's just click RECORD🔴🎥
For those with a laptop... Would it be possible to use e.g. two normal camlinks, a then the mini stream deck for a set up with two angles? I don't really understand all of this I must admit!
The alternative to these cameras would be 4k webcams if the cameras x 3 are too expensive. I use a basic 1080p webcam for my channel after having battery and camera issues forever. Great video Sean.
Great video, thanks for the details. You need to invest in yourself to be successful. This pro setup is not cheap, but the results are solid. Would love to see your video editing setup as well (hardware and software specs). Here's a list of the gear shown in this video: Elgato Cam Link Pro - $269 Elgato StreamDeck - $112 Sony A6400 - $898 x 2 Tameron 11-20MM 2.8 Lens - $649 Tameron 17-28mm 2.8 Lens - $799 Sony ZV-1 $748 Arkcan MCM5 Desk Clamp $89 x 3 TOTAL - $4,640
Hey Sean, I'm a wildlife channel which will be livestreaming inside national parks using multiple cameras. One camera is on me in the drivers seat of my vehicle, one pointing out of the front windshield and one is a sony A7iii with a 200-600 lens to show my audience grizzly bears!!! Hopefully I can connect all my cameras. I'm using a Gopro9 black, a iphone 13 pro max and I'm using a macbook pro laptop. Its basically a mobile live streaming studio!
help: I am trying to setup my streamdeck to switch between cameras like you Sean, but cannot seem to figure what that hotkey setting is. I can click on the solo layout for each camera, but cannot find a seamless way to change between then on the streamdeck....
I have this video switcher. I have 3 cameras with SD cards and a computer. I also have my audio in from a Zoom H8 to the switcher for my microphone. Want I am unsure of is the following. 1) do I have to hit record on all the cameras first, and then toggle to each camera as I use them? 2) when I hit the toggle for the computer, (as I want to record my screen), how is my computer being recorded? Where is the recording at? 3) once I am done recording, how do I get all the various recordings as well as the audio recording into one file to send to someone for post production?
A lot of people scared to get in front of the camera and lose out on so much money because they don’t want to be the face of their brand. You can still build a channel without getting in front of the camera but you will make more money when you do.
I don't have a problem being the face of my brand. I have everything (and then some) I need to start doing vlogs but I've been reluctant to start because of all the *pandemic weight* I've gained. I probably need to make that the main (but not only) focus of my new channel... it might help me lose the weight faster if there's some accountability, LOL.
For what it’s worth as a streamer I have struggled years doing movie reaction videos. High quality I feel but started a new channel doing more news related stuff with what I now know and it’s taken off. It takes a long time and you must persist.
This information was right on time. I've searched this out a few times and pretty much cam back empty handed every time. When is the update about the PC coming?
I don't do live streaming, but I've thought about recording my vlogs (when I start doing them again) from different angles using multiple cameras and editing them together to create a multi-angle video. I really like the affordability vs features aspect of the Motorola Moto line of cell phones and I have three of them: a Moto G5, a Moto G6 and a Moto One Action. All of them shoot video at 1080p and my One Action shoots 4K, which I'll probably not use for my videos. I have two mini tripods that I can set up on either side of me, plus a really tall Ubeesize ring light that has a cell phone tripod attachment that will let me shoot through the ring light in front of me. I also have a full HD camcorder that can fill in if need be. I might as well use what I have and let my tech work for me.
@thinkmedia can’t you just use an Atem mini vs. the Elgato Pro to do the same thing? Maybe more since you wouldn’t need the stream deck. Great video though!
Excellent video! Wondering how this would work with a laptop since I can't use the Elgato Cam Link Pro would i just need to use a couple of Elgato Cam Links? I am looking at making a 2 or 3 camera setup. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
@@taradavis2120 Yes, I did. I now run 2 cameras, Go Pro 8 and the main camera is a Canon 80D. I use an apple laptop with OBS and stream deck, and while the computer does get a bit warm, It seems to be working at the moment. eventually I would like to get a dedicated desktop and add the CamLink Pro capture card. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions.
Hello Think Media. Love the content. Do you have any content for youtubers that video more on the go stuff? I'm a plumber and video work on job sites. Started with phone camera. Now use Gopro 360. We use shotcut for editing. Just looking to step it up a little. Thanks in advance.
What a great video. I need wonder no more! Can’t wait to go off and view the other videos so I’ll have to studio-level big picture. Only wonder left, what did this awesome setup cost in total? Inquiring minds just have to know 🤔
A big question for you. I run a model railway youtube channel using my macbook pro using StreamYard. I have had ongoing issues attempting to use multiple webcams/iphones. I bought the Elgato Mini thinking it would solve my camera problem. Any ideas? Thanks
Do you know a Switch for USB Webcams? I have the problem. I use 3 monitors. 1x27 inch left middle 32 inch right 27 in monitor. When I look to the left or the right monitor my eyes are not looking into the camera. I would lile to place 3 USB Webcams and then switch the cameras when I look in the repective monitor so that the person on the videocall always thinks that I am looking into his eyes. Do you have any recommandation what to use?
Can you use the switcher to switch cameras when streaming with stream yard? Such as switching to the person at the other end if they are in another location.
Do you shoot in Slog-3? Are you recording straight into the computer for this video? (Using the Camlink Pro Capture Card). Did you color grade the footage that you recorded on to the computer? Do you use OBS to record straight to the computer's storage?
All this stuff is great if you have lots of $$$ to buy it. I’m launching a new channel in a month, and going to stay with OBS, and buy an Elgato Stream Deckxl soon. It’s about all I can afford starting off. I don’t plan to ever stream (for now), and I have to use my laptop webcam for now. Love to know more about the Stream Deck for recording verses streaming. 👍 Great video for my future if I ever make money. Maybe a year from now all these toys I can afford. Time will tell…
Is it fair to say that if you don't have a PC and so cannot use a CamLink Pro to power a multicamera setup that you can use a Blackmagic ATEM Mini instead?
Can I stream my macbook pro music session with another computer? Idk if you understand what i'm trying to do. I need to capture my mac's screen and audio with another computer is it possible?
Thank you for all the super useful tips. I followed a lot of your advise when I was setting up my studio as well. One of the challenges I face is that, because my cameras are mounted on the table, they tend to shake when everyone I have type or touch the desk. What are your thoughts on how to remove that ?
Is there a way to stream three cameras where the angles are on the screen simultaneously- like a zoom call for example. They don’t move or require another person to switch between.. any insight? Thanks!
I want to do ports streaming with more than 4 cameras. Does anyone know if I can plug in 2 capture card pros to get at least a 5 camera setup or, at the most an 8 cameras setup?
Thanks for showing around. Have you seen the most beautiful place in the world by helicopter and walking? Full support - see you - always together friends.
Nice! How do you handle cameras going black every 30 minutes? Canon M50 does that for example. With multiple cameras it seems to be even more annoying.
@@TheSpiv I'm afraid it applies to M50. The only trick that works is to use the USB and HDMI cable at the same time and keep the EOS Utility app open. I found this online. But there is no information how long can you do it safely without overheating.

No, not essential, but yes, important. As others have said (as is your point) it increases engagement and makes your stream pop!

@RuslanKD the king of this stuff...
This is the issue I’m having, I want the stream deck to be controlled by the viewer. So the viewer can choose which camera preference for viewing.
Great stuff! We have a live show coming next year and want to be prepared!
