As someone who is planning on launching a podcast I really enjoyed this and found a lot of value in it. Whilst I appreciate the demo, I actually enjoyed the very brief episode from you and Lila and would have watched more of it. I think you should definitely do a podcast series, or do one with Lila, the Lee and Lila/Lila and Lee show!
My fellow Canuk - YOU MADE MY DAY - as sweet as spring maple syrup! I have been looking for a simple multi-iphone video solution for when I do videos at trade shows and at client build sites. This may be exactly what I have been looking for. Many Thanks Eh and Go Leafs!
Thank you for the video! Do you know any other app that has also a replay function? Something for sports for example. Recording from different angles and use the replay function in a fast and easy way.
Can the audio from the mics be run thru a Rodecaster Pro? If so, how? I've been trying and it's not working. I'm using 4 Shure SM7B mics. Can you make a video showing how to set that up?
The USB C output on the back of the RodeCaster should feed right in. The SM7B and the RodeCaster don’t like each other though and might be the problem.
Hi! Thanks for the great video. I'm not real tech savvy, so here's a question for you please, how are you switching angles? Is this done during a recording, or after and it has to be edited and spliced in, etc? I want to be able to switch my camera angle while recording to sometimes show me, and sometimes show only my hands and the cards, and sometimes cut over to my dogs on the couch! Thanks!
I’ve got a Sony a6400 but I’ve been thinking of trying to look for other cheap cameras to use as the other 2 cameras on the side reckon I should invest into 2 mevo cameras to use as the 2 cameras that just focus on the guests?
I've been hoping Apple would just build this kind of thing into iOS and MacOS, call it FaceTime Pro or something. Maybe with USB-C they could even enable higher bit rates with direct cabling. It makes so much sense! $20 per month is not a lot for what this does... especially cross platform. Will definitely check it out. Every tech company should have a basic setup like this.
I think the price is fair if you are a business or use it more than once a month. The people complaining about the price were never going to use it anyway
@@LeeZavitz Exactly, for the avg person, try it for a month here and there when you need it... flexible! And yearly it is $140... it would be nice if they had a buy once option for that instead. Or maybe $140 was for like 2 years instead of 1. It strikes me as software worth $150-$200 to buy outright, but $20 per month option is great.
I used 2 shure mv7 with a focusrite Scarlett 2i2 plugged into the iPad. Problem is the stereo recording. mic 1 goes into left, mic 2 into right audio. How can I prevent this and record both mics on a mono track? Or, is there an even better solution?
It can save on each device for editing later or record the main feed on the tablet. So if you are asking if the tablet records all devices separately no It doesn’t.
When using the audio interface to the iPad, is there a way to decrease the ambient sound that the iPad itself pics up that’s NOT from the mic? Recording in my office and I hear the AC clicking on and off, always showing some green lines indicating sound
Nice ! Is it possible with these tools to remotely trigger a photo capture for each camera and then save each image captured from each camera in a folder? Thanks
can anyone help me, i have the pro version and i connect my interface to the ipad which has 4 inputs but for some reason the app isnt taking the microphone audio, only the ipad one so can anyone help?
Can I use this with an Roadcater Pro 2? And use phones JUST FOR VIDEO RECORDING? I am trying to cut costs to start with. But there is NOT A SINGLE video in the whole youtube, where Road aster pro 2, is used with road mics and TWO IPHONES as cameras for a two people podcast. I am really frustrated. Tha k you in advance if anyone can help and reply with a general solution🇬🇧✨Great content!!! Very useful!! Thank you!!
I try to connect my phones it after connected it seem greenish color it seem look like latency problem but i have high internet speed i dont know why this happening?
Very similar to Roland's Switcher app which I got free with the Roland UVC-02 presentation dock. Why Roland doesn't promote this excellent software more I'll never understand. It can connect 4 mobile phones cameras, plus the camera on the ipad that controls it to give a great multi camera experience with lower thirds and graphics etc.
Thanks so much for this! Been looking for ways for a beginner to set up a Multicam podcast for a while now. Quick question - do you need to use a 3rd party software to edit the Multicam footage or do they have something for that already? I'm guessing one of the perks of this is that the videos and audio from all cameras and mics are pre-synced?
Did you run into temperature issues when streaming for a longer period off these phones? I plan to capture a day-long event from multiple angles and phones would be much cheaper than Mevo Start, but i fear that the phones get too hot after llike 10+ hours, while being charged continously.
I never had a chance to run them that long to know. You would have to do a test run to find out how the phones hold up. I wonder if you had the old iPhone charger that doesn’t put out a lot of voltage but enough to maintain the battery wouldn’t make it hot?
Great video! Very informative. I just hate that I couldn’t click your link to the App and phone wouldn’t let me copy and paste it either. So I just typed it in so hopefully you get compensated, I’m definitely going to try it out tho
When recording with this setup how do you fix the stereo sound? When you edit one mic plays out of the left side of the headphone and the other out of the right? How do you make the sound play out of both earbuds as this is really hard to listen to this way.
I guess it depends on your interface. The one I used also split it left and right. In editing I just changed the audio track from stereo to mono. But I guess if you were to go directly live from the iPad it would still be split left and right (using the interface I used) some interfaces are better and won’t split left and right.
@@LeeZavitz true but why go so hi on the price when if you bring it lower folks who could use it in a more casual manner would offset the higher cost from less subscribers. While at the same time raising product awareness. You should do a video on all your subscriptions. From business to personal.
