We cover everything you need to know at the outset of planning your Peruvian holiday: the cities we chose to visit, transportation between cities, our favorite activities in each city, our lodging accommodations, and some of our favorite food joints.
We explore the vibrant city of Cusco, from its bustling streets to its amazing restaurants. Then, we stay at the Starlodge Adventure Suites, where we sleep in a pod on the side of a cliff overlooking the Sacred Valley - a truly unforgettable experience! And of course, we couldn't visit Peru without hiking the legendary Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We are Garret and Lauren, two newly weds living in Texas. That's cool. Sometimes when things go Wrong it opens you up to other adventures. And gives you a taste of what it's actually like living in that country, in a way. I lived in France for six years and strikes/protests that impeded transportation and much much else happened all the time, ugh. Anyway, cool! I randomly had a dream about visiting Peru last night hence now am on youtube looking it up lol

Very nice! I'll be there for the first time for a little over 2 weeks. I'll be taking my wife and 60+ year old father so unfortunately I won't be able to do those tough hikes. I'll spend more time exploring Lima (paramotor, huaca huantille, golden museum) and its food. I'll spend a day I'm pucusana to scuba dive while my wife and father get on a boat to see the seals/penguins. Then we'll spend 1 day in Huacachina. I'll do Cusco but less extreme hikes, we'll take the bus to Machu pichu and spend a night in Aguas Calientes for the hot springs. In cusco we'll explore the city and nearby ruins, and I'm hoping to do rainbow mountain on our last day.

We were there in November! Cusco and the other tourist areas a super safe from a crime perspective. We did run into all the protests which were disruptive but we never felt unsafe.
Hi I loved this video we are planning a trip next year. Why is it that you had to walk 3 hours back to your hotel? X
So we happened to be in Peru during the big protests at the end of last year so all the roads were closed for the protesters! It was unexpected but a good walk and all the people were friendly along the way!

👋 Hi @zahidainlondonvlogs - it was a little over $400 USD per night. This includes transportation from Cusco, Food, All the gear, activities, etc. It is on the pricy side - but we had soo much fun 🤠. Hope this helps!!

We were in Peru in November of 2022. The protests were ongoing for multiple months
these guys went into a luxury trip..if you have money, it is the best way to do it. If you have less money, like the rest of us, there are many ways to do it
What spa did you go to?
It was the spa at the Palacio del inka hotel! It was okay - we think there are better and cheaper options elsewhere in Cusco 😀
I am Indian. I would love to travel to a South American country during Copa America if I make enough money. Another problem is I do not speak Spanish. I tried learning but lost the sense of purpose as my dream isn't happening anytime soon.
