Thanks for hanging out with me today! Be sure to check out this video on the best mods for Space Engineers next! ⏩ ua-cam.com/video/CzTWC4mmYIE/v-deo.html
Automatons, Deco 3 and probably Heavy Industry are my favourites - never played the Frostbite scenario though now that you mention it, might give it a try later... good video though
Thanks for the Video Sam! The only thing it brought me was a flash of pain, when I got remembered that I came literally 3 days too late for the anniversary pack, but still. Nice work!
Ouch!!!! I did try to buy a bunch to give away as gifts/prizes, but it wasnt letting me do it for some reason 😔 - glad yoy enjoyed the video mostly though - sorry for the painful reminder 😀
Hey bud! Sorry it's taken me a week to reply 😅 thanks for the comment! New video due out soonish on the signal rankings - just haven't been able to get to the editing yet - soon(tm)
Its refreshing to see someone review the DLC's for space engineers. As someone who bought every single one as soon as they came out, I definitely agree that some of these are more worth it than others. Personally my lowest are the style pack, economy dlc and lastly is the deluxe. The deluxe to me is basically just a donation, the only time I recommend buying this dlc is to support the devs or if you want the gold texture.
Yeah, fully agree with you there - they have recently been going back adding to older packs, so maybe they'll make these slightly more appealing in the future. Thanks for taking the time to comment bud, much appreciated! Have a fantastic day!
Damn right! If my construction vehicles don't have this on there it doesn't feel right - though, gotta say I am also enjoying the new Cab cockpit for them as well!
A thing you forgot to mention about heavy industry is that the collision box on the Beam Blocks make them ideal for rail cars you can relatively easily clamp a set of wheels around them and have a vehicle that moves on a rail
I agree mostly with you but me personally I'm not too big on the automaton pack because it's overly complicated for my monkey brain lol (granted I said that about the base game in general until I got a good handle on the game lmao) but maybe it'll grow on me but I do like to support the game devs it just gives the devs more resources and reasons to patch bugs and create new content
Can't argue with any of that 😀 thanks for the nice comment! Monkey brain made me laugh - if they sold a chimpanzee skin for the engineer I'd buy that in a heartbeat!
@FatMiddleAgedMan lmao you're welcome bud! Yeah SE took about a year and a half to learn how to set up a basic ship to get me into space and I've watched many tutorials and I can literally smell my thinker frying with input overload 🤣 but what I like about SE is that basically there's no wrong way to play but it does have a steep learning curve anyone can have fun and watching videos such as yours always gives insight and ideas 😁👍 keep up the great content!
You should mention that the Space Engineers DLCs frequently get discounted on Steam, and they're all reasonably priced to begin with anyways (usually anyways).
@@kahvozeinsfang6953 likewise! Thankfully they usually are cheap individually, £4 every 6-12 months isn't bad. New players got it rough though - hopefully this helps somebody. Need to update it but waiting for the next one now since it won't be far off.
@@FatMiddleAgedMan I think this next on is definitely going to be in the S Tier for sure. I guess we'll find out though. And yeah buying them as they are released make it feel like we aren't spending as much. In reality, I think the DLC have gotten to over $60 all together. Edit: I just checked it actually $72.86 for all the DLC. Damn 😆
@@FatMiddleAgedMan Well, I bought SE a couple of days ago so I am still learning the basics. So far, tho, I think it's the kind of game that can really hook me up (voxel management, excellent base building and tech stuff). I'm learning so to me everything is brand new so I will make some experience and watch a lot of tutorials! 🙂
@@yeoldecurmudgeon1969 ahhh thats awesome! I hope you enjoy the journey fellow Engineer! If you are looking for tutorials, most would agree Splitsie here on UA-cam makes things super simple to digest and fun to watch! Definitely worth checking out! 👍
Heavy Industries was my first DLC. My mind couldn't handle tranporting gasses through regular conveyers. Automatins next purely for the perpendicular camera. Infinitely better than vanilla camera.
Couldn't agree more! The camera especially so - you could always fashion one with the vanilla camera, but it never looked right and still didn't really function as well.

I think your right about frostbite being under-appreciated, but I wouldn't put it in S-tier... maybe B? Deco 3 definitely S-tier
Automatons, Deco 3 and probably Heavy Industry are my favourites - never played the Frostbite scenario though now that you mention it, might give it a try later... good video though
it's definitely worth a go at least once! it can be a bit buggy in some bits, but take your time and you should be ok!

This is some incredible content! Can’t wait to see your channel blow up!
You and me both!! Haha 😄 - thanks for all of the help and support along the way!
Nice video Man!
100% Taking the Advice
Although im interested where you'd place the new "Signal" DLC😅.

how are you not famous this content is amazing
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it 😊 have a wonderful day!
The sci-fi push buttons with lcd displays in sparks of the future dlc is not mentioned, why is that? I love those blocks. Great video othervise 😊👍

I've bought every DLC as soon as they are released. I never cared about the cost because I'd rather just have everything available.

Liked immediately after hearing the intro
Hahahaha 😆 glad someone has my same sense of humour!
Oh boy did I suffer when I had to choose between blast doors and offset doors. I regret choosing the first
Thankfully they are only cheap DLC's, and frequently on sale! 😀
Haven’t seen the video yet, but Automations was easily the best dlc for me and the reason I play space engineers almost daily.
@@risensentinel3916 i can relate! Automatons is an awesome pick! Think that, Signals and Deco 3 are probably my personal favourites overall!
Hello there and friendly greetings!
I want them all. I'm a white hair fanboi, I can't help it! :D Thank you for this very informative video!
Likewise! How are you finding the signal update so far? I need to update this with the new one but tempted to wait for whatever DLC comes with 205

Sam turning into a pngtuber... great video anyways!
Made me spit my drink everywhere, thanks for that 🤣
Why is S above A?
That's the way, aha-aha, I like it, aha-aha! :)
S Tier has always been above A Tier. That’s just the way it is
I've got all the lego pieces
Imagine space engineers.... but Lego.... i'd play the shit out of that

love it son
Thank you fish!
Sci fi is usles
It does have some nice bits about it - but yeah, certainly one of the weaker ones!
