thanks Adam you are a ray of light in a dark world. I want to make this so much. I am in UK and priced up the same parts / spec (or best heavy duty equivalent) & the cost came to £350 not including the pipes. That price is including sales tax and delivery. I only mention the price because this is similar for off the shelf solutions readily available. That said, your robust design and obvious flexibility in form and function outstrips all the entry level solutions on the market and is competitive with very expensive solutions, so it is still a great deal and well worth doing. Thank you for the math as well. Awesome!
Very nice build, and detailed video! One side note, i would change the ball bearings to cylindrical roller bearings, those are more suit the purpose. Ball bearings don't like high side loads, and with the roller bearings you can significantly decrease the Z height of the rotary assembly. Great video!
My favorite video rig creator does it again. Thank you for this very nice project and providing us with the parts list to get started. I always look forward to your videos.
Perfect timing!! I was just designing a shot like this i was planning for an upcoming shoot and wasn’t sure how I was going to do it. This completely solved my problem and I can’t thank you enough!!
That is nice. I combined a similar construction with the Edelkrone V2 Motor and a timing belt. Now i can replicate every movement and Speed with the Edelkrone App. I Think it´s possibel with many Slider motors.🛠
You posted an episode at the right time. I'm in the process of making one. I have the same camera. I hope to make a good one. Thanks for the inspiration
So good Adam, your engineering and grip mind is brilliant. I love DIY solutions, I built my own Kino Diva 200s at 1/5th the cost when the Divas first came out, I thought they were cool but massively overpriced, mine performed better but they were heavier, built my own Dana Dolly when I couldn't afford the real deal. This is an excellent build and idea.
Very Helpful Video, propably i'll try buildinng a smaller version for my studio. The price may be higher at least for people from Germany - also those calculations are for the sturdier version which is more suitable for heavier setups and people: - pipes Alu 50mm x 2mm : 2x 3m, 2x 1,5m, 2x 40cm, 4 x 1,2m for the adjustable pipe stand: 173,69€ - steel shaft h6 30cm x 50mm: 50,10€ - 16x Global Truss 812-B: 99,20 (8 clamps are needed for the adjustable pipe stand) - 6x Global Truss 5032-2B Swivel Coupler: 72€ (4 are needed for the pipe stand) - 1x Selflock Clamp: c.a. 17-19€ (for the cam) - 2x UCF 210 Bearings: 38,90 - 2x Kipp Pipe clamp base K0499: 75,80 - 2x Kipp T-angle clamp K0475: 55,02€ - 4x Kipp levelling foot m10, h= 41mm: 2,92€ - 2x Alu plates 30x30cm 20mm thickness: c.a.190 - 210€ all prices incl. vat In total it's c.a. 790€ - shipping might vary so it's not exact.
i feel like the marbl orbit is the alie express version of a legit rig, i want to love it, but it just looks like cheap knock off shit. high key best channel on youtube, thanks man you're right in line with all the things i want to do and really helping out our company with your diy stuff.
Super cool video. These parts are nowhere near $100 for the 50mm pieces but I am still going to build it. And now I will have a lot of those parts to make other things too. Very cool idea, dude.
Love You, Love you, Love You Adam 😍 grate work 💪 man. I'm from India and just saw your work it's really very cost efficient and needful thing for photographers salute for you hard work and research behind this which you had shown in an simple manner, Thank Man good wishes for future success, keep developing 😊 Small request if you can make an small camera rig for product photography or Videography it would be very help full and useful for us to generate some money from it if possible for you can you please make it Adam 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nice build! Insta360 also has a Bullet Time shooting mode on their 360 cameras that can get this look too but it requires you to swing the camera and your arm is kinda awkwardly raised in every shot.
Amazing. Subscribed. Do you have some video about home made dolly? :) PS: Petarda :D I just seen you are from Poland. Recently moved to Sianow, close to the Baltic. I am from Hungary.
This is so brilliant! Sorry if I missed it, I went through a few times to see if I had, but what was the final overall cost for you to make this? I went through your links to start adding it all up by some things are to source ourselves locally so I'm just curious what your final spend was?
This looks actually doable! Very cool, perhaps I can build a mini version of this for product shots.

Nice video. The long rails where you two were sitting on the pipe at the end of the video, what diameter and gauge aluminum pipe are you using?
50mm about 3m long
Amazing!
Amazing work! Thanks.
I already started purchasing my pieces.
Thank you for this! Dow you have any measurements? For example the 2 plates or the center shaft?
How do you buy the Kipp connectors? No experience buying there and all I see are CAD downloads
Owesome.... can't wait to try it
solid rig, awesome 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
thank you for the camrea guy falling!
Well done!
Adaś, inspirujesz! :D
Dzięki Marcin!!!
Very nice! I am seriously contemplating adopting your set-up. What are the dimensions of the plates? Eyeballing I would guess 30x30x4?
Will you ever have a tutorial on your cable cam setups for event venues? You used a cool setup for your pool swimming shots in one of your videos.
Perfect!
amazing bro
Genius :D Love it!
Great video man!
Super handy man ... I wanna be like you! haha
😃😃😃Thank you Flavio

좋은장비 잘보고 갑니다
Have you added the motor already? would love to see an update!
Hi Adam, I received most of the materials this week, I have a question, what lenght is the shaft? Thanks!
300mm
@@VladislavTyo Thanks!

Спасибо за идею.
Отличная вещь.
Собираю комплектующие.
В России минимальная стоимость только по материалам, без работы на сборку, более 1000$.
Nice build! Insta360 also has a Bullet Time shooting mode on their 360 cameras that can get this look too but it requires you to swing the camera and your arm is kinda awkwardly raised in every shot.
I climbed into a tree to get this shot: ua-cam.com/users/shortsXYebFI2uIuY
Nice. Thanks. My newest project to add to my gear. I am new subscriber. Thumbs up.

what is the diameter of the aluminium pipes you are using? Love the setup
Beautiful video! What was that lens you were using for product shots?
This is so brilliant! Sorry if I missed it, I went through a few times to see if I had, but what was the final overall cost for you to make this? I went through your links to start adding it all up by some things are to source ourselves locally so I'm just curious what your final spend was?
He listed the price at $100 in the description, though I'd be curious what you found the price estimate to be
