Warrior 3S is still the greatest, yes it's bigger but the candela (not lumens) is what this game is all about in my book. (For me at least) Great review.
Yeah it’s a floodlight compared to the warriors which are throw lights. All three are good but it depends whether you want to concentrate light further away (throw) or illuminate up close (flood).
I wish they had a neutral white version. Unless it has changed since the last time I looked I miss the 60 lumen level in the 3S, so have not purchased it, despite the newer switch that I like.
Advertise huge lumens but you only get them for a couple minutes then there’s a massive drop to the next highest output. Idk why they wouldn’t have an output in between the 2 highest settings
I wish i could flip the pocket clip for deep tip down carry, I work in an environment that is dirty and greasy, with the light facing up the lens is gonna get dirty.
Tip up only really kills the WM3 for me.. WM2 and 3s have both been good to me so far, only thing I really wish they offered some kind of thin rubber to slip over the tail ends of their lights to stop debris from getting down into the tail switch. I work with metal shavings, rust and grinding dust and although it hasn’t caused any major issues, it’s rather annoying lol
For tactical, though, why won't they allow one-click strobe? If you need to strobe, the fewer clicks the better. My old Olight Striker allows me to set the rear button to immediate strobe. It's my EDC.
It's almost like they're intentionally trying to sabotage their tactical aspects of their own lights by not having a one click for strobe or a dedicated strobe button.
Nice comparison! I'm a fan of the baldr 3 pro. I have it in both neutral and cool tones. Warrior mini looks like a good option too Good size and I rather like the moonlight mode, it's great for not ruining your night vision while camping if you want to read a sign or map.
I have been looking for a good replacement for a strong, edc with good throw. Having gotten everything around it, I think it looks like the W3 mini is probably gonna be the winner. Wish I had seen this video around prime day or even a little after. Good review though and I suppose had i not gotten a couple others it would probably mean a little less to me. The one con I see on the W3M is the fact you can't move the pocket clip to carry bezel down. Definitely will be harder to keep the lense clean especially at work.
I'm slightly disappointed that the head of this light gets so toasty, as it is a little bit annoyed to have to think about not burning yourself. Its way better than the WM1 however, and still (in my opinion) probably the best all around EDC light available. Fixed a lit of the gripes i had with my previous favorite WM2.
If it must be only one flashlight from Olight, id chose a Seeker 2/3 Pro. I use it (Seeker2pro) primary as a bicycle light but that special rubber they use its really awesome if you use it in hand.
I like the Baton 3 Pro Max. My last Olight lasted 8-9 years. It would still be working if it was not for the people at TSA. They have no respect for peoples property. Lets face facts, if you take care of your Olight & it has the features you want, we all have our favorite features. You can not go wrong. These make great gifts. I have found this to be true.
I've been hearing good things about the MH25 PRO but unfortunately after my experience with the MH12 PRO I'm hesitant to get one. There was an over heating issue. I couldn't get that much use out of the turbo even with minimal use. Which means it couldn't run long enough for me to get a proper beam shot for my reviews. Most of the time I was waiting for it to cool down so that I could use to turbo again. It was the only flashlight I've experienced this is with and Nitecore left me hanging when I told them about it. They asked me to give them a demonstration about it but I just don't have the time. I wasted several hours creating video footage for a review that never happened which means the light made me lose enough time and money as it was. I have to keep moving forward with what works. So with that said olight has a couple new throwers coming soon but that's as much info as I'm allowed to share without saying too much.
@PreparedGuy I hope I don't run in2 any problems with this I already can't register the warranty it's asking for 16 digit serial number but there's only 14 numbers on the light..IDK
@@NHWilderness… I don’t own any Nitecore so have never registered one of their products but if you have not contacted them or figured out how to register it I would just try adding two 0’s to the beginning of the serial number to get to 16. Hope everything works out for you.
Beautiful lights, i wish they'd make a light with just 1 on mode, i just want a cool and beautiful light to switch on and off, thats it, these lights confuse me with all the modes and strobes and clicks and programing mode etc...
Great comparison 🙂👍 I'd buy the Baton 3 Pro because of the larger hotspot. It's a better EDC for me because I mainly use a flashlight for closeup work and VERY rarely for illuminating things farther than 20 meters away.
🤔... You mean besides the 20 minute video showing the beam shots? 🤣 Well, I would have to say that the beam is more flood on the baton 3 pro and the beam on the warrior mini 3 has more throw and a tighter beam. The runtimes are about the same. Here is the link to my baton 3 pro video for more details. Personally I'd go with the warrior mini 3 for more defensive tactical applications and the baton 3 pro ofr more mundane around the house or at work tasks. ua-cam.com/video/yTTViQxcIzk/v-deo.html
I have noticed my b3 pro max is very... floody, there isn't nearly as strong Hotspot as my baton 3 pro Not sure how big your attic is but I would think the b3pro would be sufficient. The warrior 3s lights up tree lines really well. I haven't had my hands on the warrior 3 mini yet but I would think any of them would be sufficient for indoor use.
You probably should of gotten the cool white instead if you think it's too dim. And it's designed to be a big wide flooder...not a spot light long thrower. In fact it's has 100 ft less throw than the Baton 3 pro...though it has 1000 more lumens on max. I'm trying to decide on the Warrior mini 3(+ a i3T for a few bucks more) or the B3P Max with the O'light sale going on now , or splurge and get both.
Thanks PG for doing the "heavy lifting" in the comparisons....Much appreciate it.
Warrior 3S is still the greatest, yes it's bigger but the candela (not lumens) is what this game is all about in my book. (For me at least) Great review.
I still miss the 60 lumen mode from the M2R Pro. That 1, 15 and 60 was a killer combo. Glad I still have 4 of them.
17:33 The baton 3 seems to have a WAY wider beam at closer ranges
Yeah it’s a floodlight compared to the warriors which are throw lights. All three are good but it depends whether you want to concentrate light further away (throw) or illuminate up close (flood).
The baton 3 pro seems to still throw pretty well for a small light. The B3 pro max is all flood
@@a7dv7en7t what is best for lighting a room? Throw or flood? Throw can still reflect off the ceiling idk just wanted your opinion.
I would buy the new blue and OD green. That's it though

They have a clip now for wm3 and nano .099 cents at olight

They offer an attachment for tip down. Clip mount for wm3 and nano at olight .099 cents. I believe the new lights have them.

I have the Seeker4Pro in White and i just ordered the 3S in Elf or Dream Blue and Golden.
thanks for mentioning scratching the lens, wouldn't have thought of that affecting the proxy sensor

Good size and I rather like the moonlight mode, it's great for not ruining your night vision while camping if you want to read a sign or map.
Great review and informed me of the difference. Personally I have the WM2 for EDC and love it.
Would have liked to see a direct comparison between the warrior mini 2 and the 3 (beam shots wise), but otherwise great review! 👍
I just bought a Olight Warrior Mini 3
Great job on the comparison of these three lights. Thanks much.
just ordered my WM3 with the brass open mini💯

I just bought 2 limited roadster baton 3 pros. No regrets

Most high lumen output edc lights get hot af
@@jacobgay4032 agreed, and the WM3 is not terrible by any means. Just the WM2 handled heat a little better.
Looks like Baton 3 Pro have best beam profile for edc. I don't see the point for a narrow beam in everyday use.
Which one has the wider beam? I choose a flashlight for low beam.
If it must be only one flashlight from Olight, id chose a Seeker 2/3 Pro. I use it (Seeker2pro) primary as a bicycle light but that special rubber they use its really awesome if you use it in hand.

You you really need more light than a standard Baton 4?
M2r warrior pro has burned 2
Of my viktos pockets and 2 bags haha. Glad to have that proximity sensor!
Great comparison 🙂👍 I'd buy the Baton 3 Pro because of the larger hotspot. It's a better EDC for me because I mainly use a flashlight for closeup work and VERY rarely for illuminating things farther than 20 meters away.
What I like about the warrior 2 is the finger ring option. Warrior mini seems not to have this.

I appreciate this comparison. I do nighttime hikes so I think I might get the baton so I can see where I step.
Which one gets the least hot?
The baton pro 3
Which one is best for Spotlight in attics but still easy to carry? I got the baton 3 pro max in neutral white and I regret it because it’s too dim.

Freakin Olight not kind to my wallet
I just picked up the warior 3s on sale for black friday sale. Saved about 50 bucks. Still a pricey light but think it gonna be worth it
Overpriced imo. I got a sofirn q8 plus tgat 16000 lumens and aundril 2 interface so its fully customizable for less than $90
BEST ONE FOR THE MONEY Olight flashlight 2500 lumens Baton 3 Pro Max wide beam neutral white lights are easier on your eyes""""""""" wheelchair Larry
