I feel like Warrior Mini 3 strikes a much better compromise between size and performance. On top of that it already comes with the new tail switch whereas the 3S still has the old design. The only thing I miss on the Mini 3 is that 4 dot battery indicator, the yellow light on the Mini 3 could basically mean anything between 10-60%, hardly useful.
@@mrgauth I had this one for a year now I think, and I would hold off buying it for good if I were you. There are SO much better options out there: the standard Javelot has a slightly larger head but blows the W3S out of the water in terms of range while still keeping a moonlight mode which seems important to many. For a more hybridish light that is relatively compact the Fenix PD36R TAC is ALOT better: great max output and it is smaller than the W3S, and without that sensor that annoy the crap out of me switching output back and forth like a strobe as soon as you get into walking distance from anything.
@@kundetjenesten not to mention that it doesn't allow you to use it at turbo power, 2300 lumens, for longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds, or 75% and then it switches to high power which is only 800 lumens. I could buy 6-8 "feyachi" airsoft lights at 1200 lumens for the cost of this that will never lose brightness for 5-6 hours.
Next version, sheath similar to Warrior 4 X, will have new tail cap, I'd like to see a sharper strike bezel like the M2R Pro and if like the X 4 a USB-C charge port could be inluded it woul be a huge winner, I'd pay more for that
Just a guess on my side, however, I'd imagine some of the features from the X 4 will be migrating over. They're awesome feature to have in a smaller form factor
Other than the purple and green bats they're a similar light as far as size and function. The Olight takes the lead with lumens with 2300lm compared to 1600lm with the PD36A. Although the Fenix doesn't use a proprietary battery so you can easily hot swap them if needed. Charging with the Olight is easier and more convenient. I haven't used the PD36A so I can't comment on it too much. I think either way, you'd get a great light which ever you decided on. I hope that helps my friend 👍

I am holding off on this one til they update it. New tail end switch, no sensor, new side button. If it takes 5 years, so be it.

I'm waiting on the same color scheme to come. It's a great torch. I would definitely recommend it. Thanks for sharing. God bless and stay safe.
Awesome! Thank you!

I should be getting one tomorrow, if the mail comes through.
Happy days 👍 which colour did you get?
@@MoorlanderEDC I’m getting the same one you were just showing.
I got the Halloween one, should be here today once the mail comes.
Nice little powerhouse that
I've got a few Olights, Freya is an amazing torch!
I think the Freya was my biggest surprise this year. Brilliant light
@@MoorlanderEDC I got it a couple of years ago and it's never let me down
How would you compare it with the FENIX PD36 r pro?

I normally don't even consider Olight. Their cost is too high vs what you get from their lights.
3S Needs a Recall a Correction FIX?? ""The Strobe isn't Working?=its Curranty Momentary ONLY""?? =>IT WONT STAY ON??? Problematic //Vary Frustrating😕
