But did you notice then, when you exchanged it, that it actually haves negative weight? If you can abide the excessive traveltimes from A to B, you can pack some serious hurt. Think of yourself as a mobile turret and head to a spot where you can cover a chokepoint and hope the enemy will start to pile up in it.
Loving this Urbie, definitely my favorite out the three loyalty 'Mechs I got. Just for fun, I outfitted mine with an XL125 so I could squeeze in an MRM40 with 3 tons of ammo. Makes protecting that missile arm a high priority but being able to take down assaults with it is so satisfying.
MajorLasaur here im the bushwacker highroller. i was shooting the panther 10p that was focusing on you from the highground. urbie was so small i dint even notice u infront of me
Wasn't sure where else to post it, seems so crazy. But just got done with a 1000 damage urbanmech round using the 60L with large pulse 3 med. Felt like I took more punishment than my heavies.
I'm in love with this Mech. I perform the BEST so far in this mech. I have a Shadow Hawk 2H but I just don't perform as good as much, I love the 2H and I'm trying to get something going I like. Currently I'm trying the set up from your Scouting video from a year ago lol.
Heh, I built something similar, just with an 180LE and 3xERSL. Single heatsinks, because that's all that would fit alongside FF and endo. Only played one game and it seemed pretty good. Not sure if I made the right call with the LE, from what I read, the STs pop pretty easy....
mrm 40 + 3 er sml lsrs goes decent enough. ofc you get more heat but it's so fun once you get behind an assault mech and start unloading the ammo in it.
What do you think about the Panther-10K(R) with an MRM-10 (CT) and a SNPPC in the RA, 2 tons ammo, 4 JJ, 1DHS, XL 250? It's not huge damage, but it goes 115.7 kph, jumps a lot, and has a bunch of quirks: -10% energy cooldown, -10% missile cooldown, +10% missile velocity, +20% PPC velocity and -20% heat. Armor quirks too, so its armor is 18 H, 52/4 CT, 40/4 torsos, 34 LA (shield arm), 48 RA (PPC arm), 44 each legs on a 35 ton 'mech.
I saw a guy do MRM 20, 3 ERML's, and - with the speed - a 180 engine. Not exactly the same, but it was indeed murderous. Speaking of finally having a missile Urbie, I would now like to see the Arrow IV in the game. On another note, how about this build for the GRF-5M(L): 2 LPPC, 2 MRM10, 4 LMG, AMS, IS TC Mk I, 5 JJ's, 13 DHS, XL 275. You have to strip the Left Arm and Head to make it fit though.
Where can you get this variant? Is it a one time thing? If so, I still think we should have another standard variant with missile hardpoints. This kind of thing is why I hate the hardpoint system. With the original BattleTech construction rules, it didn’t have these problems. But no, MechWarrior 4 had to screw it up... perhaps they’ll abandon it for MW5M? I severely doubt it.
I don't know if this is still Viable? the only difference between my Urbie and yours right now is mine doesn't have the XL180 Engine and no skills. but i have a Red Alert stating i need 2 more Heat sinks. Unless Skill Points make up the difference for that I may need to figure out a different set up.
Baradul, It's because of your videos that people are playing Urbie. You have too much fun in the Mech. Also, please stop featuring Vindicators, I like my invisibility cloak.
What happened at 8:00? The internal structure for your leg melted, but the armor is fine. EDIT: Okay, you overheated. Didn't watch far enough into the vid.
oh gott, baradul. ein96 km/h urbie???? das kannst doch nicht machen.... das das das das geht einfach nicht. das MACHT MAN NICHT :O :O :O :O was ein sakrileg, mann!
'I lost my speed.'
Great, now the Urbie is as slow as it actually should be.
Funny story: I took this thing out as soon as I got it and realized that the default engine only goes like 34 kph.
All the UrbanMechs have a stock STD 60 engine, which makes it pathetically slow. Almost everyone installs the 180XL engine to make it playable.

Yeah I saw the negative weight for a while.
I saw someone who did the same. Everyone even our assault overtake him.
I put a 125 in mine with an AC/20 and 2 tons of ammo. It goes about 60kph and still packs a punch
Actually a MRM 40 is the most efficient for mass, volume, and heat. MRM 10s just have a slightly tighter pattern.
Want a laugh? put two MRM20 on the arm. it becomes a tower speaker.
85 team damage on that first game? War crimes!
Sengir Industries Gaming Friendlies probably walked into an arty strike. It happens sometimes.

I was in that first game (Rolinthor), using a classic Baradul MAD-3R build. Best brawler ever. Love the vids Bara. Keep ‘em coming!
i loved that angryface on that Urban xD
Is the bagpipe war horn playing the theme song from E.T.?
Glad you picked the one with my Panther where I did OK, and not the one where I fucked up my positioning in the Boomjager :-)
MajorLasaur here im the bushwacker highroller. i was shooting the panther 10p that was focusing on you from the highground. urbie was so small i dint even notice u infront of me

I have a wolverine built around JJs and ballistics/srm4s. Very cool running and mobile. It loos like it would do well on that map.
I'm running two Lrm 10's tag and 2xERSL for giggles. its good fun and surprisingly competitive and the Tag is amusing on the Urbie.
Never before have I seen an Urban Mech so heavily armed and so fast in my life
Which is why I love the hbk with 4 ac2's and 2 med lasers on oasis good cool build for that map.
I'm in love with this Mech. I perform the BEST so far in this mech. I have a Shadow Hawk 2H but I just don't perform as good as much, I love the 2H and I'm trying to get something going I like. Currently I'm trying the set up from your Scouting video from a year ago lol.
wOW! Good eye, spotting that x5! I have only seen one of those (now 2) since I sold mine AGES ago........

In that first game he was fighting along side the angry “surbie “, but it was on the other team (last kill) in the second.

This is funny I run this exact build in mine. so much fun! But yeah, people are catching on to the URB and to not ignore the little trashcan that can

Fun Build Thanks!!
That xl annihilator though
I bet Lilly loves this.
Using an MRM30 on mine with 3 ER Smalls..... Seems to work great... but its a bit hot.

Any camo with a big XP painted on a mech on gold font? That XP bling made me thought that. =D
Bagpipe Warhorn? Man, why didn't I think of that?
I just found out something Baradul is a fan of the Laser enema.
I definitely can'y wait to see your Thanatos vid!
called mine murmblebie
I built the same but with 3 er smalls and a target comp4.
use MRM30 and 3ML on mine and i love it - 450 dmg and 2 kills in my first match ever in an Urbie
Should have come with warhorns that played Flight of the MRuMble Bee
Now this is my kind of mech!
Sad that I have not seen oasis as a selection in the many maps I've played on.
I wonder if the build can be done sans the targeting computer and using a light engine.
It's tough to fit it in due the weight but you can do a smaller engine for sure
Where can you get this variant? Is it a one time thing? If so, I still think we should have another standard variant with missile hardpoints.

That warhorn...
lol murbie
I have yet to break the wrapper on mine so I’m going to love this!!!!
you should do a match in a um-r62 with 2 snub ppc's in the torso and 3 lmg's... its so damn fun!!!
err r63*

nvm
How do you have so much XP on a new mech for SP?
GXP, XP cockpit items+prem time+lots of games

Its a murmbie
