Thank you, thank you for this video!! I’ve had my BES4 and scan and cut for three years and could never figure out out to use them together and make a fcm file. You are a blessing!!
I purchased the Embrilliance software and I love it. I am just getting back into embroidery after some time away. Having fun relearning plus learning all the new stuff. Thank you for your help. Your videos are great.
i have bes 4 i wish i had ask earlier how to use it instead of simply appliquei really wanted to do the sew along i have been in fla. and just got back to my home in the north will try to follow along with you and get what i can out of it thank you corrine
If you can do this in PE Design, please let me know how or where you found it in the user manual. I downloaded the user manual and can't find it in any version of PE Design. I see it in the BES manual and Simply Applique is a module of the BES(n) software.
Hi Becky,Thank you Thank you!!!!! for that you tube, love it.I learnt a lot on your two videos,Thank you again. hope you do more on Simply Applique.Love the programme. Hope you are taking care of yourself with this Covid19.We are doing ok over here in Australia. Regards Caroline(Australia)
little more info haha = i just purchased my stellaire and scan/cut - i'm following along with you on this project but don't have an embroidery software package so i'm stuck here at this point...
Do you have a suggestion of how to save all my embroidery designs on my computer? I have them in different USBs and I just need to organize. I love your tutorials. I work at a cemetery and sometimes its pretty quiet and when it is I replay your videos. You are so fun! Thanks
Could you reorganize the stitches in simply appliqué so that all the placement stitches stitch first and make them all the same color so the machine stops on its own after they are all done. Then you can take the hoop to iron? I could do this in PE design just wondering if simply appliqué is that robust. Thanks Becky you are a great instructor
Power Tools with Thread my software is over ten years old and I’m thinking about gettin new software. I used to digitize but it’s way too much work. Now I really want to tweak and use the SnC which by the way is still in the box (almost a year) because I have a Mac. I finally broke down and got a new laptop with Microsoft. I am not a fan of MS but most software only works with windows. Now I need to decide which software I will need buy that will work with all my tools. I certainly get a lot of inspiration from you....keep inspiring Becky
Thank you Becky I got it! You made it doable and fun! One question is there a way to take off the stitches on the top of the stem that the petals over lap Thanks again for another awesome video class
Hi Becky! I am learning so much from your videos. I have started at the first one and working my way through them. I have a Dream machine, ScanNCut, and I bought Simply Applique after watching your videos. Do you ever use the lettering in Simply Applique?
Becky, in her book, "Piece in the Hoop," Larissa Bland uses a heat proof pressing mat, and fusible stabilizer. (She is making quilt blocks, not applique.) She slips the mat under her hoop and presses the pieces down with a little iron, so she does not have to take the hoop out to press. You could probably do that as well with applique. Then you have to remember to remove the mat before you stitch again. I have tried this with great success. Thanks for the great video.
That's a great tip! Thank you! Funny, I have this book, read it years ago, and completely forgot about it. I have even made that little pressing mat. Can't tell you HOW MANY TIMES I've sewn it to my project. LOL :)
I'm new to Scan & Cut and Simply Applique. When you don't want the tackdown line to show beneath the blanket stitch, do you delete the tack-down offset or just skip that step?
Power Tools with Thread yeh Thankyou I didn’t call (time difference and everything) I could have bought it through them but the $ exchange rate was too high. So hoping it might be cheaper if it was a available in Australia
😭😭😭😭 I’ve watched several videos and I have my SVG file converted it to fcm in brother creative cloud uploaded it in simply appliqué to make it an appliqué design but it’s not working
I don't think so. Brother added this technology in the Luminaire but from what I can tell from the user manual for the Dream, the ability to create applique from a scanned image wasn't/isn't available.
Your flower turned out so cute! You are such a great teacher. Like your PTWT mug I noticed on your table. See you next time.
The flower turned out adorbs!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I've been searching for this type of software for a while. I can't wait to start playing with it.

Thanks, you answered several of my questions in this video. I am looking forward to your way machine applique
Thank you! Finally I will attempt to do this. Your an excellent teacher! I have scan and cut 350 and a LB7000.
OMGosh, that's exactly what I have too.
Great job. Going to have a go at doing this using my CM900, PE Design Next and my Innovis V5, fingers crossed, thanks for the great tutorials !

Simply Applique is what you need! www.allbrands.com/products/65662-brother-sabessadl-simply-applique-creative-embroid
Fun video packed with lots of information.
Thank you! Excellent instructions!
You chose version 10 for your save for the embroidery. How do you know which version to choose. Thanks again for all you help and information.
I always choose the most recent version. New versions can usually read down, but older versions can't read up.

I've tried and not had much luck. It might work inside BES4, but it doesn't work well on its own.
Power Tools with Thread my software is over ten years old and I’m thinking about gettin new software. I used to digitize but it’s way too much work. Lots of work and a few minutes to embroider
If I wanted to keep the stitching satin, is there a way to remove the underlying satin stitch from the stem?
You have to make each piece an embroidery design and then merge them.
so i'm a little confused - do i need the BS4 or the Simply applique software for projects
Either one will work. You do not need both. www.allbrands.com/products/65662-brother-sabessadl-simply-applique-creative-embroid
Thank you for sharing ❤️💗

This is great info.
Thank you!
So excited my sdx2200d has arrived today. Thanks in advance for your help . Keep safe , take care xx

I haven't used the lettering yet. I need to!

@@PowerToolsWithThread I have sewn it to my project as well! LOL
you give good instructions thank you
thanks for the helpful video! I'm new to all of this. why did you pull your file into Embrilliance? thanks!
Just to send it wirelessly to the Luminaire.
I'm new to Scan & Cut and Simply Applique. When you don't want the tackdown line to show beneath the blanket stitch, do you delete the tack-down offset or just skip that step?
You can skip over it at the machine.😊
How would I add the smiley face to the appliqué from the coloring page?
I would love this simply appliqué program but it’s not yet available here in Australia. Anybody know when it will be be available here.
If you call Allbrands, they can sell you the license key for a download, no shopping or import taxes. Ask for Barbara.
Power Tools with Thread yeh Thankyou I didn’t call (time difference and everything) I could have bought it through them but the $ exchange rate was too high. So hoping it might be cheaper if it was a available in Australia
That was great thank-you so much
how do you download from usp stick to brother canvas workspace?
😭😭😭😭 I’ve watched several videos and I have my SVG file converted it to fcm in brother creative cloud uploaded it in simply appliqué to make it an appliqué design but it’s not working
What embroidery machine is that ?
That's my old Brother Quattro 6000D. A Craig's List find from years ago.
will this be on you tube or face book and at what time
It will be throughout the week of July 6-10 on UA-cam. You can watch at your leisure.
I have a brothers dream machine, it has a built in scanning capability. Would I be able to do this through my machine?
I don't think so. Brother added this technology in the Luminaire but from what I can tell from the user manual for the Dream, the ability to create applique from a scanned image wasn't/isn't available.
Love your PTWT mug!! Selling these too??
A friend made that for me. But I should get some for the site!
@@PowerToolsWithThread YES!!! That would be great. I wear my shirt everywhere!
What is the difference between PES v10 and the other Brother options listed?
Honestly, I'm not sure. Possibly software versions for different machines.
You do such an excellent job instructions! Thank you!
i sure could use a private lesson
BTW...you have a troll in your comments.
Thanks. I see that right away on the laptop but not on the phone. Appreciate the heads up. All gone now.
