The Ohio one is actually a meme. Its either everything is Ohio (it always has been) or Ohio doesn't exist. I think the 2nd meme was born from the first one, after everyone had spread it around. So this person actually gets a pass too haha
Ohio also just has a lot of bizarre stories/facts. One time they sent a million balloons up at once in cleveland and it went terribly. Also the river has caught fire at least twice.
