Listening to a book you've read before is definitely a different experience! I did the HP audio books for my latest reread and I could pick up things I missed before! Thanks for being the best captain! 🔥⚔️
I'm enjoying my first DT experience. I'm just really discovering that Stephen King is a really good writer. I always thought he was kind of overhyped, but after reading 3 books from him so far, I can say that I now think he's just really good at weaving storylines in and out.
I'm so glad you're enjoying Dark Tower!! I used to think he was overhyped too, but I'm with you. Once I started reading him, I rendered myself impressed
I’m all readathon-ed out. 😂 The Hod King, The Broken Kingdoms, and Piranesi were my best reads during June, so I’m excited for The Fall of Babel in November, continuing the Inheritance trilogy, and reading Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell.
I am sooo proud of our team! After our ranking the first two weeks, I had never expected to make it into the top three in the end, but we did it! I wouldn't have wanted to be on any other team, you were the best team captain and I had so much fun! Thank you for this amazing experience :) Also, I hope the following months will be better for you in terms of enjoyment. I can't wait to hear what you think of the rest of the Mistborn trilogy!
Awww Esmay!!! Thank you so much! Our team was so amazing and I'm so grateful we all came together and finished strong!! I can't wait to carry on with the Mistborn trilogy myself!!
Our team was awesome and I had so much fun this month! I enjoyed a lot of what I read and actually stuck to my TBR for a change so proud of myself there
Lol "all about ice cream, did not hate this book at all" How can anyone hate the sweet sweet ice cream??😆 there's some book out there called "Love and Gelato" and I wanna read that!
I didn't love any of the books I read for the readathon, unfortunately. I think Dark Matter was the one I liked the most - not a genre I'm super into. Very different quick read though!
This is a list of some of the books that I read Crescent city A court of silver flames Deadhouse gates malazan Wolves of calla dark tower series The heroes The great hunt Woven in moonlight In the ravenous dark by a.m Strickland The comeback by ella Berman A time of dread by john gwynne
You got scratched while reading that book?!?!?! 😱I do not mess with paranormal stuff for that very reason! My mom talks about brujeria and stuff and I am not about that stuff At All 😅
Bummer about Legendborn! 😩 but YAY for such an amazing reading month!!!! 🎉 you’ve got me soooo excited to start The Dark Tower!!!
I know I was bummed too!!!! I really wanted to like it more. And I can't WAIT TO HEAR ALL OF YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE DARK TOWER OMG
I finished the Mistborn trilogy during the readathon. I read Well of Asc. and Hero of Ages. I really liked it.
I can't wait to carry on with this one as well!!

Yes the dark tower series is really great I just finished the wolves of calla 😉☺️🙂
I'm reading The Patience of a Dead Man this month. I'm pretty scared of it! :)
I'm so excited to move forward with it!
Like you I also read a lot of average books in June. Hopefully we both have more 5 stars in July
Oh goodness I’ve hardly even done any reading in July!! I’m getting so behind again 😂😂
Go Ares!
Yaaassss!!!
Lol "all about ice cream, did not hate this book at all"

Some people are crazy and they do not like the wealth of abundance that ice cream brings to the waistline. Their loss
I didn't love any of the books I read for the readathon, unfortunately. I think Dark Matter was the one I liked the most - not a genre I'm super into. Very different quick read though!
I hope both of us have better luck with the next books we read haha
