A tip: You can right click on a light you've added to your scene and hit "adjust light power" and move the mouse left and right to interactively adjust the lights power in the viewport (you can do it for the light angle as well) I like this better than entering numbers/adjusting sliders in the menu. :)
Ok I can confirm that you can do the light power but I dont see where it lets you adjust angle however it does give an option for size. But I also found out that you an turn on Auto smooth by right clicking going down to "Material Utilitis" and under special you will find the option. You can even select if its just for the selected object or everything in your scene SIIIIIICK
lol. I'm watched most of your videos .. they help me to work more smoothly with blender but when u post a new video even for beginners like this one I love to watch too .. you are really so great ❤❤❤
Thank you man for making such explanatory and free tutorials for people who are just starting out in this area, I don't even speak English that well but they are so well explained that it's very understandable! You are awsome :D
Handy dandy tip if ur like me and scaled up the rug, or any other object, whilst not in edit mode it will mess up your beveling and make it off center. Either scale up whilst in edit mode OR do it in object mode but press Ctrl+A and select scale
Been watching the first 3 minutes for the past hour with 0.5x, this is rlly too fast for beginners, but nevertheless a really cool one. For those who got stuck with the Bool tool thing, try click self intersection under solve option!
Love this!! The only problem I encountered that I can't find a solution to is that my floor started showing as black in render view even though it's the right color in material view, I've searched so much but nothing I've seen fixes it. Did anyone else get this problem and managed to fix it? Thanks! :)
It reminds me of one pretty old game, where you could create rooms like that - 2 walls and a floor, put any furniture, and you didn't had to pay for furniture as well, as I remember. Sad I can't find it anymore..
Mine did not bevel either at first. I had to re-do the floorboards and make sure they were individually ripped apart with the V key. I apparently didnt do enough or something the first time.
make more vedio on 3d of desk setup like programming or gaming design,,,,,i really want to follow ur channel as a total begnier.....make it more easy to understand please thanks
when hit copy to selected my rug does not get the same output as the tutorial. I also got a line in the middle part of the rug after joining the two bits. *edited* Nevermind, fixed my own problem, my points when creating the rugs were a bit messy so that was effecting the bevel results. Also not sure why my floor is missing when viewing in rendered mode but is there in materials preview. I also cant seem to duplicate the wall faces without the duplicated layer being black
Excuse me friend, you can make a tutorial of a flamethrower, that is well explained, without skipping a step and without cuts. Please. Can the flamethrower be something almost realistic? And another flamethrower tutorial that looks like anime, like a superpower.
@@joakimfr9 To curve the arch you use CTRL + B for bevel. You might have your empty bool box placed over some other object, make sure you resize it and bevel it. Always remember to apply scale if resizing things in object mode, also, pay attention to your origin point (orange dot), you can always reset it to object by doing: object > set origin and then into what you want (i mostly use set origin to geometry to reset it to the object im editing)
To be honest since all the progress of AI I have lost a lot of motivation to create 3D Soon this technology will reach 3D (look at dall e and midjoarney roadmap) How do you see this technology in relation to our professions and careers? how to bring back my motivation ?
AI might become very good at making 3D art, but it can never replace _you_ or your artistic vision, right? You probably began making 3D art because you wanted to create pieces with your brain, and that's something AI can't take away from you. AI is just another tool humans use to make things easier for themselves. Instead of worrying about if it will replace human artists or artwork, think about how you can use it to create better art for yourself. This is what I tell myself, at least 😅

Hola!! Cuando intento hacer el bevel al sofa no me corre parejo, que debo hacer? / Hi guys when I try to do the bevel to the corner of the sofa it doesnt seems uniform like the video, what can I do?
Also when I do the 12:27 carpet, I noticed this before but when I bevel, it doesn't bevel perfectly in the middle of the vertices, it slightly bevers on the long side. So for the back of the couch, it was more of a Long bevel, instead of directly in the corners, any tips?
At the 22:38 for bevelling the nail/screw on the wall for the painting, when i would bevel it, the bevel will go into itself messing up the face, i tried rotating it 180 to see if it was that i was on the wrong side, but it still did the same, what other way could I extrude it?
I had the same problem. You have to scale your cube in edit mode and not in object mode (before you extrude it). Then you can extrude it. When you scale a cube in object mode you scale the object but you want to scale the faces ;)
This answer is not really for you but for anyone who comes here with the same problem, if -0.5 doesn't work for you when you scale the cube you have to select your cube then hit ctrl + a to apply scale and then you can do the rest! That way you can get the extrude part perfectly. Hope it helps!
When using the bool tool for the arch, it deletes the plane object. Any idea how to fix this so that the arch is still editable after boolean or is that unnecessary?
hey! i love your tutorials so much, they are very intuitive and easy to follow. i just have one question. how come when initially adding an object, you go into the edit mode to scale it? would it not work the same way just to scale it in object mode? this doesnt really change anything, but i would just like to know :) tysm for the great tutorial!
I'm stuck at the beginning when I do the things with de arch it doesn't work for me I select the room press ctrl and minus but it just make a zoom out I have the add on activated so I don't understand if someone can explain me the problem
You can go to preferences, then search bool tool. Oben the menu. Is says what the actual shortcut is. For me it was control shift b, then a pop menu came up. Press difference.
