    We start by analyzing the scene. Then we change the light and introduce tools to make the workflow more accessible and finer tune some rendering attributes for better and faster preview. Then we introduce key components in our lighting setup starting with our key light then the env light and finally how to denoise the scene using light portals. Hope you find the video useful.

    my skydome light is making the same kind of shadow like directional light throught a window, and no matter how i rotate it, the room still kind of dark

      اگر بتونید با گرافیک کارد رندر کنید (gpu rendering) توی وقت خیلی صرفه جویی خواهید کرد. البته متوجه هستم که خرید کارت گرافیکی هم هزینه داره.

      @@sarkamari :ممنونم از شما بزرگوار بابت پاسخ هاتون‌. بله حق با شماس . متاسفانه هزینه کارت های گرافیکی کلا همه چیز تو ایران گرونه و مورد دیگه اینکه مایا ۲۰۲۲ هر کاری میکنم کارت گرافیک رو نمیشناسه که بخوام از gpu کمک بگیرم . با ورژن های پایین ترم خیلی از ویژگی هارو از دست میدم . 😄

    Why not use a physicalsky instead of the skydome? what advantages do each have?

      The physical sky uses a polar coordinate system and can be used for only exterior scenes with sky. Skydome can be used for any env (indoor/outdoor) and custome HDR can "bleed" colour depends on the mood and env that you try to create. That's a huge advantage compare to physical sky
