Atlas Drill Press Restoration Model 42

I purchased this Drill Press at a garage sale for a very cheap price couple of years ago. At the time I only took video of what I needed and really didn't think about UA-cam and sharing. Due to this reason I didn't take video of the assembly and painting. Sorry about that, since I don't have the Drill Press anymore.
The Atlas Drill Press is an American drill press. It has patented mark of 1942, so I'm guessing it is from that time. Extremely heavy. There aren't that many of these left. The original motor that you see in this video is not actually an original motor, and because of that it didn't really ran well, until I added a powerful DC motor to it.
